Rhykim now was concerned about the fight between the two. He formed an energy ball and threw it at the two. He hoped Xeonph would see it coming and let the Rito take the hit.

Xeonph glanced to the side. He saw an energy ball coming his way. He grabbed Rylin and turned him towards the energy ball. It hit him and they both flew back. Rylin lay about a meter away from Xeonph. He lay on his back. His wings were charred and missing most of their feathers. Smiling, Xeonph flew back to Rhykim. "Thanks for the help, but I could've taken him myself."
In intense pain, Rylin slowly turned his head. Xeonph was gone. They thought he was dead. Mustering all the strength he could, he crawled into a space between two bushes then passed out behind them.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Xeonph smiled. This was going to be fun. He leaped up, soaring off towards the castle. He was about 15-20 feet above the castle walls. He dropped, throwing his knife and drawing his sword. The knife hit a bowman in the arm. He landed, cutting down another bowman. Almost sub-concisely, he dropped down and saw an arrow whiz over his head. He did a backflip, retrieved his knife, and whipped it at the man who had tried to shoot him. He grasped his chest, then fell. Xeonph ran over, picking up the bow with a string on it, then fired at another guard at the other end of the wall. He suddenly noticed the arrows in the sides of the walls, obviously meant for him. He fired and struck the guard in his rub. Letting loose one final arrow, it embedded itself in Xeonph's arm. Grimacing, he pulled it out, then poked his head over the edge of the wall.

Rhykim appeared on the walls. He went the opposite direction of Xeonph and several soldiers were stunned at the sudden appearance and size of Rhykim. One soldier ran towards him but Rhykim hacked through the soldier like he was water. Several archers laid down arrow fire on him, but the metal armor wasn't allowing the arrows to pierce through. He fazed behind them and slashed them in half at the waists. He finished mopping up the men on his side and caught up with Xeonph. Seeing that no other soldiers were going to challenge either pair, he cast a special energy ball in the air. It exploded high up and looked like a silent firework went off. That was the cue for the army. "Are you alright, Kid?"
The sudden burst of light captured Shak's attention. He looked out the window in the last second of the light, he saw Amaya leading Rhykim's frontal army towards the Castle. "They're here. Get every soldier out there and ready to fight to the death. We are to keep the castle."sigpic

Xeonph looked up at Rhykim. "Firstly, I'm not a kid, OK? Second, yes, I'm fine." He said the last word with a harsh tone. He looked around. "Do we take out the other guards, or what?"So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

"Wait here for a minute. Looks like your arm is pretty injured. Are you sure you're fine. I don't want to see you struck down because of your injury," Rhykim said, in a somewhat caring tone.
Shak moved down to the entrance hall. He was miffed that the way outside was blocked. "Move! Let me through! I am the King!" he yelled to his men.
"With all do respect, Sir, you haven't earned the title of King," a soldier had told him. "And if you keep yelling who you are, the enemy will hear you and come after you."
This was a big blow to his ego but he still remained strong.sigpic

Nyx saw the energy ball and knew that was the signal she'd been waiting for. She turned quickly to Ranger. "It's time. Move your archers ahead. Stealth is key here. Have them take out the Logata archers without being seen. Then we'll climb the wall and attack from this angle, which will drastically reduce the king's reinforcements before he even knows we are there." She spoke calmly and sternly to show the seriousness of the situation. Nyx felt Luna's muscles tense beside her, so she knew Luna was ready as well without her having to say anything.Comment

Xeonph was angry. "Do you think I'm some helpless child who couldn't fight to save his life? It's an arrow wound! I don't even use that arm! I can fight just as well as pretty much every soldier under your command, and probably better than most of them!" He took a breath. "While I can understand your concern, I'm not going to miss out on something this fun because of a little arrow wound." He perched up on the edge of the wall facing into the castle. "So what? Ranger had also noticed the ball of light and nodded firmly at Nyx, before turning to his soldiers, who were all gaping at the sky where the ball had been. "It's time," he said to them, not yelling, but clearly enough that everyone could hear him. "We move in, we move fast, we move stealthily, and we get the job done. So now I want you to go in there and take down those archers before one of them even realizes they're under attack. So go, and good luck!" The soldiers all nodded their understanding and began moving in fast, using what cover they could get. Ranger followed close after them, with Dara at his heels at all times. He was in battle mode now, but he did stop as he passed Nyx for one second and whispered, "Be careful," and then continued to move as the first arrows flew and the archers began going down.Comment

Xeonph turned. He saw a group of men moving towards the castle. "Hey Rhykim, think they're moving in." He looked down, then saw an armored Dracos. He had a blue stripe on his head, and crests like Xeonph's. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I should go settle this score with my brother." He flew over to another wall, closer to the Dracos.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Nyx smiled slightly as Ranger spoke to her. She and Luna waited, stone still, as the soldiers passed them. The pair would be bringing up the rear, where they could see everything that happened and be able to issue commands efficiently. A very small group of soldiers waited with them. They would be serving as Nyx's body guards and they would also be the ones to relay the commands she issued to her forces. As the last of the soldiers passed, Nyx and her group followed, using the darkness of night and the terrain as cover.Comment

Amaya was overjoyed to be let loose. She ran to the wall and started climbing the rough surface, using every broken corner she could find to move her way up. Solar watched her from below, disappointed that he couldn't assist his partner, but he knew that it would be very difficult to get up there with her without assistance.
Amaya drew her sword and knife and threw herself into the fray. She hacked and slashed at anyone whom she did not recognize, or was not wearing the identification mark of Rhykim. Any who got in her way were cut to ribbons, Royal Army or Rhykim's rebel.
Chandra stayed by Shak's side, trying to convince him to stay calm admist the battle outside. She did glance at Eos a few times, wanting to leave and join the battle, to help protect her king and land, despite the racism against her race.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
