"Thank you, sir." He said to Rhykim, nodding at Amaya with a smile. She glared at him and muttered something. "We'll talk about the mission later." He said, leaving to watch the Draco fight. One of them charged the other, and they struggled against the wall for a few seconds before one of them pushed off at the other, but instead met the end of his own blade, falling to the ground with a thump, armor clanking. The victor landed and looted the body, taking a shield off the corpse and strapping it to his back before flying off.
Soon enough the Draco landed back in the courtyard, sitting on a rock. Endin slowly approached, gripping a knife in each hand.
"Hello." He said, not sure what to say. "Who was that?" He gestured towards the body.Comment

Nexus kept her cool. With what sounded like a snap of a finger, it shot lightning bolts at Amaya. Rhykim attempted to intervene to save Amaya, but at the mere thought, Nexus restricted his movement allowing Amaya to get the full strength of the power.sigpic

Amaya screamed as lightning struck her. She certainly hadn't been expecting that. Nyx had always been the lightning-controller, Amaya knew no others who shared her twin's talent. However, she had a talent of her own. She opened her flask, struggling through the pain to focus, and willed the water to shield her. It wasn't as effective as if she had been sparring with Nyx, and she had know full well what was coming, but it was enough to lessen the force striking her. Amaya screamed again with the pain that followed the blinding light. And she didn't know how to deal with this pain. She just hurt like Din's hell. So she grabbed at her water and pulled it to surround her body and protect it from whatever was hurting her. When that didn't work, she pulled at the black puddle at her feet. Nexus laughed at Amaya, "Try as you might Amaya Celeste, but you will never be strong enough to do whatever you wish to me. You're weak, like your 'Master'. For that reason, I've decided to stop controlling him and to remove my presence inside his mind. Now leave me Verass, and take your pitiful servant with you!" Nexus finished teleporting the pair back to the throne room. In that process, Nexus sealed the door to her chambers.

Amaya spat out a globule of blood from where she bit her tongue and took mental stock of where all hurt. The short answer: everywhere. All her muscles hurt from the pain she had been subjected to, and she was shaky from adrenaline. She started for the doors, intending to go back to the Nexus and show it a thing or two, but her legs wouldn't support her that well and she fell to her knees. "Din's fire, if I didn't hurt so bad, I'd find a fire-controlling Stari and destroy that festering pool of Nayru-cursed and Farore-****ed slime," she swore. "Din's blood, that hurts!" She spat out some more blood. Amaya sighed and leaned back into Rhykim's hands. "Where on Din's red earth did you learn to massage like that?" she asked. The only men she knew outside the Stari had hands like boulders. Which were completely useless when she was wanting to relax her muscles. "We ever figure out how we were going to deal with Silvervale? "Commander Eldin claims to have a relative of substantial authority and sway in Silvervale. He's volunteered to 'persuade' this relative into our way of thinking. If he's unable to do it his way, I've ordered him to implement my way. I will have forged documents made before the Commander leaves so he can take them with him. If his relative doesn't budge with persuasion, we'll threaten blackmail. If it still doesn't work, well... we'll have to use force. However, at your recommendation, I'm using force as a last means necessary. It's the final option, not the first. Amaya frowned thoughtfully. "Blackmail? Hmmm... That might work, although it still sounds like we'd be forcing them to do it," she mused. Then she shrugged. "Oh well, at least we're trying negotiations first." She settled more comfortably against Rhykim. "You're making it up as you go? Since when do you ever do that?
