Rhykim sat there. He relished in the support he was receiving. Some of the captured soldiers of Logata bowed to Rhykim's authority as they knew that challenging him would be pointless and would get them nothing but a slow and painful death. They simply allowed him to rule, out of fear of his wrath. Rhykim stood up and began to leave the throne room to the Castle Courtyard. "Dispose of the bodies. Throw them into a wagon and transported to Falconmill. From there, dump them into the ocean. We'll let the sea eat the corpses. As for me, I'm heading to talk to the prisoners of war."

Xeonph had fought hard in the fight, and the arrow wound he had received had impaired him. He had it bandaged and then found the hall. Apparently the King, Shak, had been killed and Rhykim had taken his rightful place upon the throne. He waited outside the hall, calling to Rhykim. "Lord Rhykim, may I enter?"
So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Destinie finally managed to get the blood out of her eyes in time to see an injured man almost stumble into a wall. She hhurried over and caught him before he fell, then gently lowered him to the floor. "It's ok now, you're safe. I'll take care of you, ok?"

"May I join you, Master?" Nyx asked. She wanted to do something more entertaining than just cleaning up. She was also curious to see what Rhykim had planned to do with the prisoners.

"Of course," Rhykim said wryly to Nyx. He proceeded to the courtyard were the prisoners were at. He began to speak to them. "You are all considered prisoners of war. As I am an honorable man, I will give you some options on how to be dealt with. You can leave here, go home to your families and never interfere with the Castle again. You can pledge your loyalty to me, and I will allow you to go home and see your families and you can let them know you're safe. Or your final option is simple, you die. It's your choice, and I will give you a couple minutes to decide."

The pain had been a front. His life was not in danger... but he needed someone he could trust.
Alain looked around him, his head baely moving. Would he safe fell his story?

(Deku, watch your posts, please. A couple of them are less than three sentences.)

Amaya prowled around the courtyard, looking for survivors. When she found one, she determined how close each was to death. If he was on the verge, she'd kill him, regardless of which side he fought on. But if he was alive and had a chance to live, she would try to heal him. She might be a blood-thirsty sadist, but she understood that people were more fun to put on the verge of death, rather than to kill them out-right.

Nyx kept a stern face while Rhykim was speaking. Idly, she wondered if she would be the one to put those to death who chose to die. At first, she was confused as to why Rhykim was letting them off so easily. Why would he give them the option of returning home without swearing fealty to him as long as they promised not to interfere with the Castle? Nyx answered her own question when she remembered the conversation she had with Rhykim right before the invasion began.

(Lol, is it wrong that I forgot there was ever a conversation? I haven't looked back on the previous topics in a long while. Just a coincidence I guess :P)

After several minutes Rhykim began to speak to the POWs. "Your time is up. I will now go to each one of you and listen to your decision." Rhykim held true to his word. Several soldiers pledged loyalty and/or went home. Most, however, remained loyal to Shak's legacy and his bloodline and Rhykim personally executed every loyal soldier.

(Lol Rhykim had told Nyx that he didn't like killing innocents and that he was worried he would see his old friends in battle.)

Nyx was surprised by the number who remained loyal to Shak. She thought it was quite ridiculous, really because since Rhykim was only making them say they would not bother the Castle. They could always just lie. That's what I would have done, she thought, smirking. But no, they were dumb enough to throw their lives away in service to a dead king. People that dumb probably SHOULD die, Nyx concluded, holding back laughter.

Amaya finished in the courtyard rather quickly. There weren't very many people there still alive, thanks to her blood-lust during the fight. She assisted some of the more wounded ones to the infirmary, since she knew they could be saved but were beyond her skill. Finished with that, she began making rounds. Medics were picky people, not inclined to give up on someone obviously dead. Whenever that happened, she took it upon herself to deal a merciful death.
Very few here were in need of Amaya's 'ministration', and the few there who did were conscious. As such, she was obliged to receive their permission. One girl stood out, a Gerudo pierced with an arrow wound. It seemed to be a shallow wound, not fatal, but Amaya could tell the girl was dieing. She leaned over and sniffed the bandage covering the wound. "Poisoned," she said. "Likely Ranger or one of his close friends got to you." Knowing just how painful Stari poisons could be, she didn't bother asking the Gerudo's permission. She just drew her knife and plunged it in the woman's breast.

                            (That good, Ryli?)

Destinie bit her lip, looking for something she could use to wipe away the blood. She finally gave up and tore a strip of cloth from the bottom of her shirt and used that. "What's your name, sir?"
