Narus walked up to Amaya, Felgrand following. "You really don't trust Endin, do you? I noticed the two Stari you left with him. I assume one or both of them is a telepath, otherwise there would be no point to leaving them there. And before you ask, no, you can't slip anything past me." Narus smiled, but it quickly changed to a frown. "So now that Silvervale is taken care of, where is your friend Rhykim sending us now?"

Amaya chuckled. "I left far more than two, dear Jiro. Some are spies who will keep me and Master Rhykim informed. Others are there to help Ending keep the villagers in check. The rest are to keep the first group's purpose from being discovered while keeping the second out of their way."
Solar snorted softly. "You're thinking too much like Nyx. Did Luna and I mix up twins?"
She laughed and played with his tail. "I'm still disappointed that there was no fight."
"You're Amaya alright," the cheetah purred laughingly.
Amaya laughed with him, then looked back at Narus. "We're going to Falldell. The Gerudo's fortress. We'll see just how much of it is still standing after Master Rhykim's finished with it." Narus flinched. “Please stop calling me Jiro, and don’t call me dear, either,” he said.
“You need to loosen up about what she calls you,” Felgrand muttered.
“I know,” Narus replied. “Falldell, eh? What could possibly interest him there? I don’t see any way he could convince the Gerudo would join him. Amaya s******ed, loving how much the nickname annoyed him. "Silly Jiro, the Gerudo don't need to join him. All they need to do is submit to his reign. After all, he is already master of Logata. He only needs to keep the races from rebelling. That's why we were in Silvervale and why my twin is in Ironlynne. We are keeping the people contained. As long as they offer no resistance to us, we won't destroy them. And any one who gets in Rhykim's way will be destroyed." She gave Narus a pointed look as she said this. "I will personally end any who chose to stand against him." Her voice had a hard edge to it, a warning, that hadn't been in anything else she had said to Narus since he joined her group.
Abruptly her expression turned bright again and her voice returned to its cheerfully sarcastic tone. "Besides, the Gerudo will be fun to play with. Desert rats, the lot of them. They'd be fun to destroy with water. The very thing that allows them to exist as they do, becoming the weapon of their destruction. Ironic, don't you agree, Jiro?"

Narus sighed, annoyed by Amaya's behavior. "You really are a cruel *****, aren't you? You also put far to much faith in Rhykim. He is not nearly as powerful as you make him out to be." Narus increased his pace, moving away, but then slowed back down and looked back at Amaya, an extremely cold look in his eyes. "And don't try to threaten me, little girl. I could kill you in an instant if I wanted to." Narus walked away, melting into the group.Nobody is perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am perfect.

Amaya laughed, a hearty, booming chuckle that chased after Narus as he walked off. "Too much faith in the one man who has my respect? Believe he is too powerful, when he commands the Stari? His strength comes from his words, little boy, and his ability to convince the truly powerful to follow him. You might consider yourself strong, but you are not. Not to me, who has trained with my electric sister since we discovered our talents. Your lightning will not affect me, but I can tear you asunder with my water. You don't scare me in the slightest."
"You really shouldn't always try to have the last word," Solar growled. "It'll get you killed one day."
"Let it! Amaya said cheerfully. "Until then, I will enjoy myself and say as I please. Besides, I doubt he heard me. Jiro always turned his ears to stone when he didn't like what he was hearing."
