Elgin, who was panting, finally saw his destination. He took took several more steps and looked out on the rest of Logata. This view is still awesome. When Elgin caught his breath, he looked at Chandra. He had dragged her through Logata Field and up Smokehead. Yes, they did rest and eat several times throught the trek, but Elgin had never told Chandra where they were going. "Sorry for dragging you all the way here and not telling you where we were going. I just wanted our destination to be a surprise to you." Elgin told Chandra.

Chandra panted up behind Elgin. She had questioned him often as to where they were going, to no avail. She hoped that Ignatius and the other horses would be okay on thier own for the last couple days. She stepped up next to Elgin. "What is it you wanted..." she trailed off as she saw the view. "Wow! Elgin! This is magnificent!" She doubted even the view from the top of Southmarble edge was as beautiful as this.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Elgin looked at Logata again. He was very nervous about what he was going to say next. "Chandra...I have something to tell you..." Elgin told Chandra., managing to hide his emotions. "It will sound completely crazy, just a warning." Elgin warned. before he closed his eyes. Just then, he heard a voice in his head. SAY IT ALREADY! Elgin opened his eyes, looked at Chandra, and said, "Chandra....I love you. I know that I'm a Goron, and you are a Gerudo, and it would never work out, but I just thought you should know how I felt about you. If you want to hit me or something, I totally understand."Comment

Chandra gaped at him. She didn't think he would like her, that any Goron would even think of it. She smiled, then stepped forward and kissed him. And not a peck on the cheek sort of kiss. She did a full lips kiss. She didn't care what anyone else would think of this. She didn't care if nothing would come of it but love. Elgin was not surprised at all, for some reason. He closed his eyes and didn't pull away. Why am I not surprised? Elgin asked himself. Recent events flashed through Elgin's mind during the kiss. Elgin leaving Ironlynne, meeting Wyman, meeting Shak, going to the canyon, meeting Chandra and Eos, Southmarble Edge, the encounters with Taurean....Elgin finally concluded alot had happened in the past few weeks. He went back to the day before he left Smokehead and remembered his talk with Marcus.
Will you come back, Elgin? Please tell me you will! And bring Taurean with you if he has changed in any way.
I'll come back, Marcus. And I'll try to make Taurean his old self again while I'm out there.Comment

Chandra threw her arms around Elgin, happy when he didn't try to pull away. She had only ever kissed one boy, and he had kissed her. But this was so much better. She pulled away only when she needed air and smiled happily at Elgin. That is when Elgin remembered the others. How will we tell them? They'll think we are completely crazy! Elgin told himself. "Honestly, I wouldn't want to find our her reaction, considering the possiblities!" Elgin said, laughing a bit afterwards.Comment

Chandra shrugged. "I'd have to tell Eos eventually. But we can keep it our little secret for now, if that's what you want. It won't matter to me." But it would be hard. Elgin thought about this for a minute. "Alright, I guess we can tell them right away." Elgin said, facing the fact that they would eventually have to face the response. I just hope they don't freak out on us.Comment

Chandra grinned. That was a huge load off her shoulders, since she hated lieing. She hugged Elgin, then turned to look out over Logata again, keeping her arms around him. "So what do we do now? Elgin considered his options. Seeing Marcus again would be nice. "Sure, I would love to see my family again." Elgin told Chandra. He picked Chandra up without warning and carried her down to Ironlynne. When they got to the entrance, Elgin put Chandra down. "Welcome to Ironlynne." Elgin said.
"MARCUS!!!! I'M HOME!!!!" Elgin yelled. He immediately heard "Watch it, young man!" and "Respect your elders or else you'll end up like your brother Taurean!" In a few seconds, Marcus was standing in front of Chandra and Elgin. "Elgin! You came back!" Marcus exclaimed. Marcus was about to hug Elgin when he noticed Chandra. "Uh, who is the lady right nex to you?" Marcus asked. "Only my girlfriend." Elgin told Marcus. Marcus stood silently for a moment, then burst out laughing. "You? With her? Ha! She is way out of your league, bro!" Marcus managed to say while laughing. Elgin stepped towards Marcus and shoved him. "Out of my league? She is out of your league!" Chandra smiled happily as Elgin carried her down to Ironlynne, though it did feel a little wierd. She was just as glad to be put back on her feet. She was too used to being there than carried around.
She looked around uneasily as Elgin called for his brother, and the other Gorons responded. It was a little strange to her, being in this place. It was so different from Falldell and Falconmill. She stayed close to Elgin as another Goron rolled up. She smiled shyly as they greeted each other. She laughed when they started verbal sparring. It sounded like teasing to her. She stepped forward. "Hi! My name is Chandra. Nice to meet you!" She smiled at Marcus.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

"Hi, as you might already know, my name is Marcus. Nice to meet you." Marcus said. He turned back to Elgin and asked, "Is there anything else I need to know?" "Well, Taurean hasn't changed, so don't expect him to come here with good intentions anytime soon." Elgin told Marcus. "Thanks for getting back to me on that, Elgin. I'll tell the guards to be ready for anything." Marcus replied, very thankful that he knew what to expect if Taurean came around. Marcus turned towards Chandra and said, "Now, since I don't trust Elgin to be honest, could you tell me how you and my brother met, Chandra?" Chandra laughed. "Nothing really special. He was guarding the prince, who ran into my sister in the Market. She wanted to travel with him, so Elgin and I got stuck together. Marcus sighed with relief and said, "It is nice to know that you are one of those people that don't tell the long version of stories. I hate it when people do that." Marcus said very honestly. Elgin grinned when Marcus said that. "Well, it was nice catching up Marcus. Tell everyone else about Taurean, alright?" "Sure thing, Elgin." As Marcus walked back to Ironlynne, Elgin looked at Chandra and asked, "Shall we head back to the castle?"Comment
