Daniel gather his pack from the ground and stood up straight. While the crash had certainly been unexpected, it hadn't done much to affect his current state of mind. However, seeing his surroundings was an entirely different scenario. "Um, yeah don't worry about it, really..." he mumbled, too shocked by the situation to respond properly. While he had gone all over Hyrule for quite some time now, and he'd gotten used to the eerie casual way the map managed to make him move around, this wasn't Hyrule anymore. Of that he was sure. They were in a town, very similar to what Castle Town had once been, but with some key differences. One of which was quite obviously the giant Clock Tower right behind them, ticking away at the current time. It had yet to dawn on him that when she realized where they were, it was going to be him who needed to do some apologizing.

Briana frowned as she noticed his distracted air. He was looking around as if he didn't know where he was anymore. She smiled, remembering his map. Of course, he must have been wandering around and gotten lost. The least she could do was point him in the right direction. She glanced around to be sure of her surroundings...
"Where on Din's fiery earth," she breathed as she noticed the clock tower above her ticking away the time, its giant faces so large they could be seen even beyond the walls she could see around them. The people bustling around here she could tell had seen war just as much as those in Castle Town, but they were clearly not Hylians. Something about their choice of outfits, their more unusual color schemes, and the many masks they wore. These were not Hylians. She rounded on the young man. "This is not Hyrule. Where did you take me?" she demanded, hands on hips.

As he finally got used to the idea of being outside of Hyrule, Daniel turned to look at Briana and raised his hands defensively. "I...I'm not sure, actually. I really do apologize, this wasn't meant to happen." He felt quite nervous at the moment, as he wasn't used to someone following along on one of his trips. He purposely danced around the fact that he had no way of bringing her back, as he did not control the map. Hopefully, they could avoid the topic a bit longer. The clock kept ticking away above them, but apart from glances here or there no one seemed to notice the two strangers. They seemed to have more important matters to attend to.

Briana crossed her arms and glared at the man. "But you do know how we ended up here, don't you. You know exactly what happened and why. So explain it to me. You've clearly done this before, since you don't seem surprised at being transported so much as my being here." No, he hadn't been at all surprised to be transported. Her being here, yes, he very clearly hadn't been expecting. Where they were, possibly, since he looked around with interest as if he'd never been here before. She certainly hadn't. But her presence had thrown him off.

Daniel tried to think of a way to explain it to her, but even when he tried to explain to himself the wonders of the map that was in his possession, it was hard to find the right words. "It's complicated..." he slipped the map he had neatly folded back into his pouch and made sure it was safe before continuing. "I've been doing it for a while now, travelling I mean. It just sort of happens. No one had ever traveled with me before, however." As much as he tried to concentrate, however, his mind kept wandering off into figuring out their surroundings. "Where do you think we are, by the way?"

She sighed. He'd just told her exactly what she already had guessed. He's done this before, he didn't know where he was, and he hadn't been expecting her to come along. It did assure her that he wasn't in control of where he went. This meant that someone else, or something, decided where he went and when. So it was unlikely he could take her back to Hyrule. Which meant she was stuck with him, and he with her. She wondered if she should have changed into her riding leathers before leaving for the market like she had been thinking.
"I haven't a clue, but I know how to find out." She moved to a man who was yelling at some younger men. From what she could guess, the older man was supervising the younger builders, who didn't seem to have any idea what they were doing, judging by the red anger on the older's face. "Real fools, aren't they," she said.
"Tell me about it," he answered, his volume barely decreasing. "They wouldn't know a nail from the hammer."
She laughed. "Would you mind helping me for one second? I seem to have gotten lost. Where are we?"
"Sure thing, lady. We're in South Clock Town here. There's the gate to Termina Field. Where are you needing to go?"
She smiled. "That's alright. I know where I am now. Thank you." She went back to the man from Hyrule, her skirts swishing around her. "Yeah, I have no clue. We're in some place called South Clock town in Termina Field."

Once again, the coolness and formality with which the lady was managing things surprised Daniel. He thought about the name, trying to remember where he'd heard it before. He decided it was probably one of the land's lesser known neighbors, of which he'd only read about Labrynna as it was hard to find any information on them from any book, especially when you travelled as much as he did. He sighed, "We're far away from Hyrule alright. Clock Town seems a fitting name," he added looking at the giant tower behind them. For him to be perfectly honest, simply hearing the name Termina sparked an urge in him to go around and learn more about it, more so since the map bringing him here meant something important was either happening or about to happen. However, it wasn't like he could just leave the girl there on her own, after all it was his fault that she was here. "What were you doing in New Market anyway?"

"Seric Enters from Retaking the Tower Part 1: Forming alliances"

Seric watched this exchange from the Platform on the Tower. they weren't from Termina, he could tell by the clothing. he sat quietly on his perch interested in the new arrivals.

"Looking for a book," Briana answered, also looking up at the enormous clock above them. "My father is a book merchant, and we cater to a specific group of people. When someone mentions a desire for a particular title or information, it is up to us to find it. I'd already found this one," she raised the book on Ancient Hylians, "and I was looking for one on the founding of the Sheikah. I'd found some before, but my client wanted more detail than that book had offered. By the way, my name's Briana." She bobbed a quick curtsy. "What's yours?"

Seric saw the Girl look at him and ducked out of the way hoping he wasn't noticed. He sat back, pressing himself against the door to the roof. who are these people? where did they come from? He hoped he wasn't noticed.

He smiled, "Daniel. Name's Daniel." As he heard her explain, he realized she was a person whose intelligence was higher than many people he had met. This was also evident in the manner in which she had reacted to their current situation. When she mentioned books, he could tell she liked them or at least appreciated them, and his mind jumped to the very special one he carried in his pack. His hand even twitched for a second, wondering if he should show her. He decided against it. Suddenly, something moved and he was able to notice it out of the corner of his eye. The movement had been quick and brusque, which caught his attention. His volume lowered. "I think we have company."

Seric could sense that they had seen him. he sat back as close to the door as he could get as the clock ticked away. 'I have to move' he thought to himself. Thinking of his current situation, he decided the best option was to make a break for it. He got into a position aimed at the south gate and bolted. he jumped as far as he could, over their heads. However in his haste he had misjudged the distance to the ground. he hit the ground and felt himself slip and fall on his back. he lay there trying to recompose himself. He cursed himself for his failure as he got up.

"We're surrounded by a people of another country, who are just wandering around as if this was Market Square. Yes, I think we have company." Briana glanced side-ways at Daniel's warning anyways and saw a darkly dressed man jump down from the clock tower and attempt to bolt away. However, he messed up the landing and ended up on his back. She hurried towards him, her skirts swishing around her. "Are you okay?"

'Stupid, Stupid, STUPID' Seric thought to himself as the girl approached him."well that hurt" He said quietly as he sat up, shaking his head. 'The doctor's gonna have a feild day with this. "Oh Seric you fell off the clock tower. You ARE a dull one aren't you" Right' yeah. He could already see the scene in his head. He turned to the girl, a bit Disoriented from the fall, slightly nervous as well due to the Strange garbed girl. "wh- who are you?" he asked, shaken.
