Daniel followed after Briana, eyeing the guy that had fallen closely. He had been the same one he had noticed watching them, and apparently he didn't appear to be too coordinated. As always, he wondered if all the people there were like that, though he doubted it. When he asked who they were, he could notice that the man recognized them to be different, in a sense. "More importantly, why were you running?"

Briana shot Daniel a glare. Right now, it didn't matter why he was running, although she had to admit that she was curious too. For now, though, she'd settle for him just being stupid. "I'm Briana, this is Daniel. What's your name?" He hadn't identified them as being anything but Terminans, so she'd prefer to keep it that way. Until she knew where they were, it was better to be thought of as stupid than to be revealed as foreigners. At least until they knew if Termina even knew what Hyrule was, and what the political situation was between the two countries.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Daniel smiled as Seric got back on his feet. He glimpsed quickly at Briana, then back to Serica and chuckled. "Not much of a threat if we were hostiles, to be honest, seeing as both of us are carrying no weapons while you seem to keep a scabbard on you. To be fair, though, it's true we could be hiding a weapon somewhere." He made it clear he was joking, although he didn't mention his glove, which was clearly visible but could be hardly identified by anyone that hadn't seen how it worked as a weapon.Comment

"Is it that obvious?" Daniel said, with a lighter tone in his voice. Once the initial shock of someone having been looking at them, he was more comfortable at approaching the situation. "Foreigners, travelers, nothing too important," he dismissed casually, "you were born here? It seems like quite the place to live at." He shrugged, pushing away from the topic of their nationality. For all they knew, Hylians might not be welcome.Comment

Seric Relaxed a bit more."Well there arent any book shops in Clock town, but I heard about a place Over in great bay to the west. there's a library in that place. it may have our history, however, No one's been in there in a while." he said calmly, looking at the girl. It didn't seem like a good time to mention the spiders that infested the place and were the reason it was abandoned. Daniel raised an eyebrow at Briana. It interested him that she was taking this whole situation so well, even taking advantage of it to find more books. As for him, he wasn't sure what he should do. Never before had the map led him somewhere where he found out information based on books, at least not entirely. If it led him somewhere, then it was someplace where something either was happening or was about to happen. Yet, as he looked around and saw how everything felt he could sense that something had already happened here. So could it be that the map had meant for him to run into Seric? There was only one way to find out. "I guess I'd be down for that. I mean, if you are, Briana. After all it's my fault you're here so I'm not leaving you on your own."Comment

And if I could sell them to a scribe, he'd make copies, which he'd then entrust me and my father with selling, further increasing our reputation!" Seric Watched the two interested. "Well shall we go then?" he asked, before walking off toward the doorway to the West castle town. He led the two up the ramp, past the banker, finally stopping near the large gate that led out to Termina Field. Daniel was surprised but laughed at Briana's reaction. It seemed, whatever force compelled the map to do what it did, it wasn't only him that it helped. "Well I'm definitely glad you're glad," he nodded at her. As they walked, he made sure to note everything that was around them and how he saw people moving about. Their attitudes, the types of dress and businesses, everything he could use. As they reached the gate he had nothing further to comment so he simply waited for either Briana to bring up something she needed, or for Seric to continue leading the way.Comment

Briana wondered briefly if she should search for a change of clothes. After all, climbing around a dusty library was not something one should do when one was wearing a dress like this. It was such a chore to wash. And while normally that's what the servants would do, she was not at home to give the dress to the servants to wash. She would have to wash and mend it herself. However, Seric appeared to want to get going so she decided to keep her comment to herself. After all, she would have to shop around for a new outfit, and she wasn't sure if Clock Town took Hylian Rupees. She thought she had seen some of the brightly colored gems change hands earlier, but they could just as easily be different coins altogether.
"Is there really anyone who wants to get hurt?" she asked as she followed behind him.
