Alec groaned, but there was a smile on his face. He grabbed for his gut with his hands. His empty hands. The knives he had been holding were gone. As he had hoped, when Yuki had pushed him away the knives had impaled in her back. One above and one in the lower back. Of course, he wasn't happy that he had gotten stabbed in the process, but at least his plan had worked. His eyes glinted at her, "Hope you enjoy your last tastes of blood, or any other kind of drink for that matter."
He didn't see the assassin that had walked in. He was too busy waiting for the girl to realize there were two knives sticking out from her back.

Odin did as he was told, hanging on tightly as Widow made the descent. The sound of the shouting got louder the closer they got to the ground. It was a little unsettling, actually. But once they were all together again, he hoped they would be able to get out of there quickly.

yuki feel to the floor, but she wouldn't let this be the end, she would survive this, she had to, she passed out quickly, pain overwhelming her.

widow got the ground "ok Odin" she said "do you want to walk or do you want me to piggyback you to Alec and Jacob. it's your choice" she smiled at him, letting him know she meant it.

The assassin watched Yuki pass out, not sure if she was unconscious or dead. Then he remembered the other guy in the room. "Ready to do the same, sir?" The assassin asked, pulling out his knives.

          -----------------------

Jacob sighed in relief when he figured out it was a trick. He would've never forgiven Alec otherwise. However, Jacob also noticed the other guy in the room and how he pulled out his knives. Jacob panicked again. Almost instantly, he came up with two solutions.Notify Alec, or take that guy down from behind? After (again) taking what seemed like hours to decide, Jacob decided to do both. First, Jacob went up to the window, then yelled "BEHIND YOU!" Then, before the other guy could turn around, Jacob hid in front of the door, where the guy was most likely not to see him if Jacob distracted him at all.

          -------------------

The assassin turned around for two seconds when he heard Jacob yell, but then remembered that someone else was in front of him. I'll find whoever that was if he/she stays in the area. The assassin told himself, allowing himself to refocus on his target.

(This is my first post with my new character, so I'll write his story from the start of the invasion)
Ralatar was in the kitchen washing dishes when he started hearing it. He thought he was hallucinating, but it grew louder and louder. Screaming and metal-on-metal clashes outside. Footsteps rattled the building as people ran in. They were trying to get shelter. He ran out of the room and ran upstairs and outside to the roof. Then he saw it. Chaos. It looked like Clock Town's apocalypse. Enemy waves kept filling in the streets. Ralatar had never seen a dead body before. He hadn't seen a fight to the death at all. And now he saw dead bodies all over the place, blood poured out on the stones. Word spread that the Mayor was being targeted by someone--but nobody knew who. Ralatar could tell who the invaders were-- the men in the unfamiliar uniforms. A group of them stood below, finishing off a helpless citizen. Ralatar looked up at the massive bell in front of him. It had been around forever, for generations. It pretty much symbolized his family's business, the Stock-Pot Inn. Ropes hung the bell from the bar above, and Ralatar had an idea. He wasn't very good in school, but he thought it was a smart thing to do.
"Once this is all over, at least there will be a story about you." Ralatar sighed, drawing his sword. The invaders below heard him and looked up, wondering what in Termina he could be doing. Reaching up, Ralatar swiftly swung his golden blade over the bell, slicing the ropes. As it came crashing down a loud ring shook the streets, and Ralatar pushed it to the side. It tumbled off the roof and landed on four invaders below, crushing them all. Other invaders looked up at Ralatar with disgust, but nobody seemed to bother attacking him. He was a 14 year old boy on the roof, and they were all on the streets, busy fighting someone else.
Ralatar ran inside to see how his family was doing. Grandma was probably oblivious. Her ears are so bad, she can't hear the bell when it rings. People hid in the Inn rooms and some were panicking in the halls. He ran into the Employees-only room; thats where Anju and Kafei lived. Sure enough, Anju and her fiance were in the room holding each other. "Ralatar!" She ran over and picked her little brother up. "Are you okay? What happened to the bell?!"
"It fell and landed on some invaders," He told her. "Wheres Mom and Granny?"
"They're in their room." She said. "Stay in here." And Ralatar did. His family always knew what was best for him. After a while, the noise died down, sounding more distant. Ralatar ran downstairs and outside. The streets were not nearly as crowded, but the fight continued, it just moved to South Clock Town. Ralatar felt a bit sad seeing that old bell lying there on the ground. It had a big, bloody dent. He knew they would fix it back up and hang it again, when they got the chance. Kafei ran outside behind Ralatar, glaring down the street. "I gotta go check on my father." He said as he dashed off for the Mayor's office in West Clock Town.
"You don't even have a weapon!" Ralatar said as he ran after Kafei.
"Now I do," Kafei said as he grabbed a fallen soldiers sword from the ground.
"Who says you have experience with it?" Ralatar said. "I'm coming with you. Can you imagine what my sister would do if you died?" He drew his golden sword. There were no invaders in this part of town anymore, just citizens. Still, if Kafei was planning on going to the mayor's office at this time he was bound to be intercepted. The Mayor was a target.

            (Haha sorry about that XD)

Finally, after what seemed like a year of swinging his sword, Maxwell returned his sword to it's sheath and looked around. Most of the soldiers were gone, and people were....trying to get through a barricade of men? Maxwell, curious to what was happening stepped closer to a nearby exit to see what was happening. His suspicions were confirmed. Where Maxwell was in Clock Town*, and all the other parts of Clock Town, his men were holding back half the citizens still in Clock Town trying to escape. Maxwell figured there was still a bunch of afraid people holed up in their homes and waiting for the fight to end. And when they come up, they'll see the beginning of a new and better Clock Town.

(*I have no idea where Maxwell is right now, so let's just say he's in between South and West Clock Town, and he approached the South exit lol)

Kafei and Ralatar ran through the streets, past all the dead bodies. Many citizens were spared--they obviously weren't intended on being mass murdered. It was the brave ones who fought back who paid the price. It looked pretty clear that the enemy had won. Clock Town never got into fights, so they weren't too prepared for this. Ralatar knew his future would be different after what happened. The town had been changed. After a short run, they had arrived at the mayor's office. Like near the Inn, the battle was also fought in the West Clock Town streets. Kafei barged in, Ralatar coming in behind him. They ran through the lobby and through the door on the left to his father's office.
"DAD!" Kafei yelled, running across the room. "What happened?" He stared at a lifeless body, forever asleep in his office chair. All he did was stare. The Mayor of Clock Town. The man who ran nearly everything and kept the town in order. Dead. Ralatar also couldn't help staring. Tears formed in his eyes. Mayor Dotour had said Kafei could be elected as mayor next if he worked hard, but that wasn't what he wanted. He had always wanted to live a low-profile life with his family, like the average Clock Town citizen. And he surely didn't have a chance now. Kafei's father had gotten killed for a reason. Tears began dropping from both of their eyes and Ralatar tried looking away, but wherever he looked in the room lay death and pain. He saw Kafei's mother also there on the ground, dead. Three others were also in the room. A girl was on the ground, and Ralatar wasn't sure if she was unconcience or asleep. Two other men were in the room and seemed to be alive. Kafei fell to the ground. It looked like he could have died from sadness. Ralatar couldn't stand being around a crying man in a bloody room of dead people, so he stepped out of the room. He leaned against the wall, sliding down to sit, closing his eyes. He couldn't imagine how bad Kafei felt to walk into a room one day to find he lost both parents. Ralatar was scared of what was happening to the town. For all he knew, his family could also be killed in this time of madness.

Ralatar had been sitting in the lobby for about five more minutes when Kafei dashed out of the room. Ralatar got up and chased him outside until Kafei pushed past some invaders guarding the West exit. Ralatar gave up and stopped, just standing there watching him. It was like Kafei was going insane, he just kept running and running through the field. Ralatar decided to leave him alone. The man had a sword in his hands and sadness in his head, so as long as he didn't kill himself Kafei would be fine. Ralatar went back inside Clock Town and down the path to South Clock Town. It was obvious the chaos had moved to the South quarter or town. Invaders filled the area, killing off more defenders. Ralatar had no motivation to get killed, so he ran back through West Clocktown, then to the East to get home. At the Inn, all of the people who were recently hiding in it were gone. His mother had a broom and was sweeping up the lobby. All the people who came for shelter made the place pretty dirty. "What happened to Kafei?" She asked Ralatar.
"We just went to check out his Dad's place..." Ralatar said, starting up the stairs.
"Hold up," She said. "What happened to the Mayor? I know somethings up."
"Well, uhh..." Ralatar began. It was hard to say it and he wasn't sure how his mother would take it. "Someone killed him."
"What?!" She exclaimed. "Who would kill the mayor?! The town has been running fine for decades!"
"Well it probably has something to do with the craziness in town a while ago..."
"I know... How about his mother?"
"She looked dead too. The place was all bloody. There were three other people in the room, but they were all breathing."
                    "Did ya kill em?"
"Umm... how would I know who killed who?" To avoid any more questions, Ralatar went upstairs. As he turned the corner at the top, he bumped into his sister, crying against the wall.
                    "Uh, you okay?" Ralatar asked.
"Okay?? Of course not!" She said. "I heard everything you guys said!"
"Uhm, I'm gonna go wash some dishes..." Ralatar said, going back downstairs to finish washing the dishes. The good thing about the jobs he got in the Inn was that they could take his mind of things he didn't want to think about.

Alec didn't immediately turn when the assassin spoke. He turned when he heard a voice, Jacob's voice, shouting. He immediately backed up, enlarging the space between him and the other guy. His hands were still holding his wounds, and his knived were stuck in Yuki's back on the other side of the room. "What do you want?!" he asked, a little bit desperately. It was obvious he was losing his cool. If someone didn't come help soon, he wouldn't stand a chance.

The assassin examined the room again, groaning on the inside when he saw the Mayor dead. "Look, I was hired by someone to kill Captain Viscen and the Mayor. Captain Viscen is probably in a better place by now thanks to me, but since the Mayor was already in a better place when I got here, I have to bring back something. You just happen to be here, so...."

                        ----------------------------

From behind the door, Jacob sensed something was wrong. Before he could argue with himself if he should go in or not, he burst into the room and jumped the assassin's back. Jacob put one hand over the assassin's mouth and used the other hand to make sure he couldn't breathe through his nose. The assassin struggled for a while, trying to throw Jacob off, but eventually the assassin stopped struggling. Jacob got off him and was slowly putting his head on the ground when he randomly dropped it and backed away. "What?...H-h-ow....?" Jacob tried to ask himself as he walked away from the assassin's body. He was in shock. He didn't quite understand why he did that, how he knew to do that, and if the guy was dead or not. Jacob looked at Alec and managed to say, "L-let's get o-out of h-here....."

When he finished washing the dishes, Ralatar left the house to see what was going on in South Clock Town. Anju and Grandma were in their rooms, and his Mother was working the lobby counter, though nobody would come to get a room at this time. He left out of the second floor exit and ran from roof to roof until he could see South Clock Town from above. It was like the chaos earlier, but it was all centered in this quarter of town. He saw many lives being taken, and as he had assumed earlier, the invaders were winning the fight. He wondered why they attacked the town. They obviously wanted to take over, but why? Clock Town soldiers kept falling, and one man caught his eye. It was a familiar man, an army leader. Captain Viscen. That's when he realized that all power in Clock Town was lost, and the offenders had pretty much already won. Clock Town would be going into a new era, whether the current citizens liked it or not. Some people would leave, Ralatar guessed, and some would rebel. Then there would be the people, like his family, that would stay and see how things turned out. Maybe they would see a brighter Clock Town future, and maybe they would see it burn to ashes. Maybe the Inn would prosper and maybe even get the extra guest room they wanted, or the whole family would move out because the economy had been wrecked. Ralatar wondered if rebels would start a new town, somewhere else. He also worried about Kafei. Being the mayor's son, the man had gotten pretty angry and Ralatar worried he would get himself killed.

It took Alec a few seconds before figuring out what had happened. It was clearly not what he had expected, and the fact that Jacob had just killed a man, surely a dark and twisted man, but a man nonetheless shocked him. Jacob had never seemed that type of person. Of course, he couldn't blame him. With everything going on around the world these days, it was only natural. Still, it took him a few seconds to get past the shock but when he did, he nodded slowly and still holding his stomach approached Jacob. "Alright, let's find Widow and Odin," he smiled warmly.

"Some more piggyback ride," Odin replied, keeping his grip on Widow. Truth be told, the increasingly loud ruckus was beginning to gnaw on him. A lot of it appeared to be coming from the South side. He was afraid to set a single foot onto the ground, fearing that he'd be knocked over by one of the many screaming people in the ruckus. Not that he'd ever admit that to Widow. He was supposed to be brave after all, wasn't he? Only babies were afraid, and he wasn't a baby.
