Odin dashed through the gates and past the guard to Clocktown, his wide eyes soaking in all the exciting sights and sounds of the busy bustling town. "Wow! Lookit all the peoples here, you guys!" Odin called to his two companions trailing along behind him. "I bet there's tons of stuffs to do here!" Unable to contain his excitement and stand still for even just a second, he ran in circles and zigzags through all the stalls, poked at a bundle of apples and oranges in one (and accidentally dropped a few), and ran back to Alec and Jacob's side all in a matter of seconds, his wide smile an indication that he was happily oblivious to the glares he was receiving from passerbys. He clutched the leg of Alec's pants and looked all the way up at him, still bouncing up and down in excitement but hardly out of breath. "Can we play the games here, Alec? Pleeease? I hear there's lots of neat prizes that you can win!"

Jacob smiled when he heard Odin said stuffs. He would correct him, but he remembered Odin was only seven. "Yeah, some games sound fun. But remember we also have to get you a weapon, Odin." Jacob told Odin. -
Odin stopped his bouncing around for just a moment to look at Jacob. "Oh yeah! My weapon! Well, we can play after, right? I promise not to take too long choosing a weapon."Comment

Kaida strolled through the market, forcing her way through the crowds. It wasn't very hard, she had gained a dangerous reputation for herself. And the golden dragon on her breastplate made it easy for people to identify her.
There was only one place she liked to go to on market days. The sword arena. They always set up a tournamet, and that was her favorite place to go, mostly because she liked kicking men's butts. She was better than most people, even with her history. She had learned to fight from watching the pirates, and adapted what she saw to her own style. Now almost no one could beat her.
She quickly found the arena and signed up for the tournamet. She quickly defeated her first opponet, and her second. Her next one, though, might give her some trouble. She rubbed her arm, loosening any muscles that would have tightened while she waited for her turn again.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Odin clutched Alec's hand and dragged him over to a stall that seemed decorated with an assortment of swords and daggers. "Oooh! Lookit this one!" he said, pointing to a heavily decorated dagger. He picked it up and started swinging it around, much to the dismay of the owner. "Oh! Oh!" he said, tossing the dagger aside. "Lookit this one!" Odin caught sight of his reflection on a shiny knife and started making funny faces, amusing himself to no end with his antics. Until something else caught his eye. "Lookit that one!" he said, pointing to a fairly long sword. "I bet it's really strong!" He grabbed it with two hands and attempted to hoist it up, succeeding only in getting a scolding from the stall-owner.Comment

Alec grinned and almost laughed, except he didn't in fear that the stall-owners would kick them out of the market. He took Odin in one arm and took Jacob's hand with the other, "Come on, Odin, I know where we could get some good recommendations on what sword would be good for you." He then walked over to the fighting arena were people trained and fought, and there was the master he knew from long ago. To his surprise and wonder, there was a tournament going on, and a girl who looked super fierce and cool in her fighting moves was kicking everyone's butts. He smiled and told the others, "Let's wait till they're finished, doesn't look like she'll take much longer to win."Comment

Kaida slipped on the blood on the field, but she used the lower position to her advantage. She kicked her opponet's leg out from under him, then regained her feet and laid her swordtip on his throat. "And the victory goes to Kaida!" shouted the announcer.
Kaida sheathed her sword and helped her opponet up. As soon as he was standing, she let go and left the stadium. She wiped sweat off her forehead, then adjusted her breastplate. After awhile, the thing could get very hot. She always wore fairly thin shirts, but that didn't help very much.
She turned and spotted two Terminians and a Deku Scrub. They seemed to be watching her. She flipped her braid over her shoulder and walked over to them. "You three enjoying the tournament?" she asked. She was certain they saw her golden dragon on her breastplate, and that was why they were watching her. "Yeah!" Odin said, jumping up and down again. "You were really great in there! How'd you learn how to do all that, lady? Didja get born like that? Or did someone train you? My daddy and mommy and my bestest friend are gonna train me so that I can be strong just like them, and maybe even you!" He gestured to Alec and Jacob, then continued on with his jabbering without even stopping to let anyone else talk. "But I still need to get a weapon first, so that's why we're here. We're gonna find a really good one! Right, Alec?" He looked back and Alec and smiled.Comment

Kaida's jaw tightened, and her hand sought her sword hilt. She wasn't born into anything. Her older brother had trained her a little, but she learned most of what she knew either from watching the Pirates, or on the fly. Alec smiled, "Yeah we'll find you a good one, Odin. And anyways, you were very good, may I say." He told the last to the lady. "Name's Alec," he said extending his hand to shake, "these are Odin and Jacob." He waited to see if she would introduce herself.Comment

Kaida laughed at the Deku. "My name means Dragon, which I suppose is where the nickname came from originaly. But it's because I'm so dangerous a foe. Not even the bravest of knights want me as an enemy." She winked at the Deku, then turned as she heard Justin hale her. "Meeting people, boy. Is there something wrong with that?" she snapped at him. It annoyed her when he got too protective of her. After all, she was the one who rescued him.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Jacob stood quietly as the conversation unfolded. When Justin showed up, Jacob noticed the tone of voice Kaida was using. She sounds annoyed... Jacob said, taking note as he turned to look at Justin. He looked a bit younger then Kaida, which could be a reason why he was protective.Comment
