Justin continued to watch the fight, although he already knew what the outcome would be. From the moment he saw her opponent, he knew the battle would be over in just a matter of minutes. For one, his sword wasn't even of good quality. Not that he was bragging, but even he could make a better weapon than that. And for another, Kaida would always find a way to pull through. She was strong like that, both physically and mentally. He settled back in his chair with a grin, eager to see just how she'd finish off this guy.

Odin gleefully clapped his hands as Alec swooped him up and placed him on his shoulders. It was so fun being up this high! He felt like a giant! "Haha! So this is what it feels like to be tall like you!" he shouted down to Alec. "I wanna be tall just like this!" Being this high, he was sure that Kaida would be able to see him now, so he continued to wave his arms and shout to get her attention.

Kaida ducked under her opponet's guard and hit his nose with her hilt. He staggered back as he saw stars. Kaida grinned and started to follow up her advantage when she heard Odin's voice. It sounded rather close, it seemed, so she turned to see where he was. She sighed as she realized he was on Alec's shoulders, which was partially why he sounded close. She then turned back to her opponet.
He had recovered for the most part, and started to come down on her, blood streaming from his nose. Kaida scowled slightly, cursing for allowing herself to get distracted. She caught his blade on her own and ducked under it so that she was now standing next to him. She kicked at him, at the same time wedging her sword under his sword's crossguard. The result ripped his sword from his hand. She tossed it back to him and sheathed Flame. She bowed to her audience and stepped out of the ring admist thunderous applause.

Alec grinned, that had been spectacular, as expected. He lowered Odin from his shoulders onto his arms so that he didn't fall and walked over to her. "Amazing," was all he could say, smiling at the soon-to-be winner. "Do you want some practice before your final fight? You and me, 1 on 1?" Alec had to admit, seeing her fight had made him want to test his skills, it had been a while since his last fight.

Roko grinned. The outcome was just as he expected. He saw the other group head towards Kaida, and he really didn't want to risk another attack from Odin. He stood not to far away, hanging in the crowd.

"I wanna fight her next!" Odin exclaimed, thumping his legs against Alec's chest in his barely contained excitement. "That was so cool how you made that person's sword go swoosh! Kablam! Sparkle sparkle BOOSH! when you flipped it into the air like that! I wanna try that too!"
            ~
Justin laughed at Odin's over-eagerness and patted him on the head. "Hang on there, little fellow, I'm sure she'd like a nice break first before facing off against her final opponent." He walked over to Kaida with a grin on his face and playfully fist-bumped her on the shoulder. "You're doing great out there, Kaida. Your form and fluidity with the sword never ceases to amaze me. And an awesome finish too! Why don't you get a quick drink of water and prepare yourself for your last fight? Any idea who you'll be up against?"

Kaida grinned at Alec. "After I win this next fight. I want to be in my best possible condition." She got her breastplate and knife back from the ref, but she didn't put them on. Instead, she handed them to Justin. "Carry these please? And thank you. I was wondering if I went a little too slowly on that move, but it seems I did it well enough."
She then turned and pointed to a man across from the square. He was a large, burly man, musclese bulging all over. He wore a sleeveless shirt and short pants to show them off. Kaida had a deep dislike for men like him. "That's who. I hope to kick his butt so badly he won't be around coming in here for another year, if he ever does. That might involve drawing blood." She fiddled with Flame's hilt as she considered her strategy.

Justin nodded his head as he took her belongings, refraining himself from biting his lip. "Just remember to keep your focus. I don't want you getting distracted out there." He turned to look at Odin. "That means no more calling out to her during her matches, little guy." He glanced at her next opponent, sizing him up and down. "It looks like you'd do best to keep on the defense first and wait for that guy to mess up before delivering a fatal blow." Then he grinned at her. "Try not to kill anyone though!"
                ~
Odin scowled at Justin but said nothing. He didn't like being called little and he didn't like being told what to do. But he knew Justin was right and he shouldn't be distracting Kaida. He was more angry at himself for feeling guilty. Then an idea popped into his head. "Hey!" Odin said, running over to Kaida's side and tugging at her leggings. "Why don't we fight together against that big guy! I bet we would win in just five seconds!"

Alec smiled at Kaida's dislike of her opponent, then smiled when Justin told her not to kill anyone. "Yeah try, doesn't mean it will happen, but at least try," he laughed, then turned to Odin. "Well, Odin, the rules don't allow for one to fight with a companion, if not I'm sure you could help," he added with a wink in Kaida's direction, then turned back to Odin. "Besides, can you imagine Widow's reaction if you got hurt? She would be devastated! But maybe next time, 'kay?"

Widow walked into the market, and saw Alec, Odin and..... A New girl, she hoped that the new girl wasn't trying to get with alec, after all the drama she had gone through to keep him she didn't want to lose him. Widow leant against a wall waiting to see how long it took them all to realize she was there.

Jacob stood near Odin, looking around suspiciously at the other people watching the tournament. They didn't look like the nicest people in town, so Jacob decided it was best to be ready for anything. But as he glanced behind him, he saw someone he didn't expect to see. It was Widow, leaning against a wall, watching them. "Hey Widow!" Jacob called out, waving to her in the process. "Come over here!"

Kaida winked at Justin. "I'll keep my focus. But no promises on the no-killing." She patted Odin's head. "That wouldn't be fair anyways, Odin. You're too good a fighter. Better leave it to me, much more fair that way."
She turned to see who Jacob was hailing. She bristled as her eyes fell on a pirate. Her hand strayed to Flame before she stopped herself. 'Maybe that's not Widow,' she thought to herself. 'Maybe someone else here is, and that girl is just here to see the sword tournament. She could have been here this whole time.'

When Jacob called out Alec quickly looked to see if Widow was indeed there, and so she was! He was real happy to see her, but he couldn't help but notice the weird feeling he got from Kaida when she saw her. He hoped this wouldn't be a problem. "Come, Kaida, I want you to meet Widow," he said as he began walking to her.

Odin was about to voice his protest when he heard Jacob call out a familiar name. He turned around and grinned when he saw the one he was looking for. "Widow!" he called out, temporarily forgetting about Kaida and Justin in his moment of excitement. "You're here! And you missed the awesome fight! Kaida was fighting against this giant man and she was like swooooosh clash bang kapow!" He repeated his story again with jumpy animation. He looked up at Widow and smiled. "Did you know that she's a Dragon? Alec says he thinks she's amazing too! He says he'd love to use his sword against her!" He imitated swinging movements with his arms, pretending to fight off a horde of monsters.

Justin followed behind Kaida, keeping his eye on the person that Alec and Jacob had called 'Widow'. She was definitely a pirate. He could tell, just by her demeanor, the way she carried herself. He noticed that he'd been keeping his hands clenched, took a deep breath, then unclenched them. All the while keeping his attention on the two ladies. He wondered what Kaida would do. He wondered if he should even do anything at all. All the tension building up inside of him was making him feel a little edgy.

Widow laughed "ah Odin, I've missed you" she picked him up and hugged him tightly "so kaida is it, I'm widow, I don't know how much you have heard about me but if you have heard anything other then I'm a ruthless pirate it would lies" she laughed again "hope you have been taking good care of our sons Alec" she kissed him lightly on his cheek, hopefully giving off a 'he's mine, don't you touch him' vibe

At the mention of pirates, Justin immediately took a step forward, placing himself in front of Kaida, and gave Widow a firm look. "So my instincts were right. You are indeed a pirate," he said. He looked her up and down. "Odd. I thought you pirates never ventured further then your forts."

Odin stared mouth agape at Justin. "Widow's not odd!" he cried insistently, latching onto her leg. "She's my mommy and you shouldn't be mean to others! It makes people sad!"
