"Is it any surprise that you won?" Justin said to Kaida with a grin. "The poor guy didn't even stand a chance." He leaned in to give her a peck on the cheek but missed and ended up jabbing his chin in her eye, due to the squirming child in his arms. He placed Odin down on the ground who rushed over to Kaida's side and jumped onto her back, hugging her tightly around her neck.
"Kaida! Kaida! That was sooo awesome!" he cheered, his arms flapping wildly at his sides. "You took down that guy and he was like super big too!" He proceeded to mimic the moves he'd seen her do with much enthusiasm.
"Alright, alright, don't wear yourself out, little buddy," Justin said, laughing while patting the sprout atop his head. "We've still got to celebrate her successful win. Speaking of which, how do you plan on spending that money?" he asked Kaida.
"Carrots!" Odin shouted to Kaida. "Lots and lots of carrots! Carrot soup, carrot cake, carrot sandwich..."Comment

Kaida grinned at Justin, while rubbing her eye. She patted Odin on the head. "No, not carrots. I'm not sure how I want to spend it. All I know for certainty is that I would like to buy something to help me with my missiones. There have been several times when I had to do things that a tool of some sort would have made much easier." She smiled at the Deku before he could pout. "And if what I get is cheap enough, I'll buy you something too."Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

"What do you mean? You don't need to buy any new weapons," Justin insisted. "I have plenty of weapons that I'm happy to give to you for free. And I make the best weapons in town, remember? I can get you whatever item you need, no problem. You should spend your money on more important things."

Odin looked up at Kaida and smiled, satisfied with her answer. He took her by the hand and started to drag her along through the crowd that was already started to thin out. "C'mon!" he shouted amidst the noise. "Let's go tell the others that you won! They're waiting for you right now!"Comment

Kaida smiled at Justin, pulling back on Odin just enough to keep him from pulling her away while she answered the blacksmith. "You are a good weapon smith, but I was thinking something like a grappeling hook. I need rope that. But I'll put off the weapon and look for something better." Then she let go of her pull and let the little Deku to pull her to the others, allowing a victorius smile to spread across her face.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Alec watched the group advance from afar. After running off he had disappeared into the crowd and taken a turn to a stall nearby. He had taken a sit and ordered a drink, then continued watching the group. The reason was that he needed some fresh air from the whole thing. He recalled the times he had spent with Widow before encountering all of them, they had been some good times. Not that he didn't love Jacob and Odin, he really did, but being a parent was a hard job, specially for a 19 year old, so he was longing for some time alone with Widow, just to talk even, but alone. Widow walked over to were Alec had gone, and sat down next to him, smiling "how long has it been since it was just us to" she said "I must admit I kinda miss it, it was such a good time..... Though, I wouldn't want to lose Odin or Jacob either, such sweet kids" she looked over at where Odin was and smiled lovingly, before turning back to Alec, and hugging him.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Odin searched around but found that he couldn't find either of his parents anywhere. He was suddenly filled with panic and immediately started zipping through the crowds, nearly tripping several times. "Widow! Alec!" he shouted, all the while fighting to keep the tears from falling from his eyes. "Where did you guys go?"
"I'm sure they couldn't have gotten far," Justin said with a frown on his face, following right behind the Deku to make sure he didn't get lost as well.Comment

Widow heard Odin calling for her and sighed "spoke to soon" she walked over to where odin was, his back was to her so she grinned, walking over to pick him up, and place him on her shoulders "you ok" she asked Odin.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Kaida smiled as she spotted the pirate sneak up on Odin. She stepped back from the two for a minute so she wouldn't make Widow feel threatened in her motherly moment, and started to wander around the stands, looking at all the wares they offered. She wasn't much for shopping, but she loved to admire things. As a result, she became engrossed in her window-shopping and didn't realize just how far from the others she had wandered, until she found herself in front of a stall selling animals.
Birds, dogs, cats, all kinds of animals were being sold here. All of them looked abused and in ill-condition. One animal in particular caught her eye. A beautiful black panther, not even having the energy to stand. Kaida knelt by it and reached out to scratch its ear, when the owner of the stall slapped at her hand. "No touching until I see some Ruppees."
Kaida glared at him. "How much for it?"
The man grinned, displaying a mouthful of broken and yellowed teeth. "Well, now. This species is rare to find in Termina. And this particular one was found in the alleys of the town. So all in all, I'd say...1500."
She gaped at the sum. She had enough, but only just. She would have to rely on others until she got enough money from jobs to pay for her supplies. She looked into the panther's green eyes, wondering if it would be worth it. The panther stared back, pleading with her to take it away. Kaida sighed and stood, facing the man. "This thing is in miserable condition, and you expect that much for it? I'll give you 1000."
The two bantered back and forth, until they finally settled on 1200. Kaida gave the man his money, then gently led the panther away.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Justin sighed in relief when the child was found by his mother, stepping back to give them some space. Thank goodness everyone was okay and in one piece. Now where had Kaida gone? He debated on whether or not he should stick around and wait for her to find the group again or if he should go back to his store and wait for her there. He'd left it unattended for a while, after all, and thieves were likely to start getting ideas if they saw that it was empty.

Odin buried his face in Widow's neck, keeping his grip around her tight. "Why did you go?" was his muffled response. "You're not s'posed to leave me. If you love me you don't leave me."Comment
