Alec stopped cold, his blood freezing for an instant. He couldn't believe what she had said. The color flushed from his face. Jacob? Taken? What had happened? How? Was he OK? Were the others? So many questions went through his mind but he couldn't ask any of them, because one of the guys tried to slash at him. He sidestepped to dodge, then pierced the guy's arm with his knife, swiping at his chest with the other, then stabbing his heart with both. He was no longer thinking about what he was doing, who he was killing. He just wanted Jacob to be OK, to be safe.

Yuki saw a guy who had killed one of her men, grinning she thought yes he's the one. she moved towards him and screamed "wh.....why a..are there d....dead bod....bodies ev.....every....where" Oitside, she only had a look of horror on her face, however inside she was grinning maybe this guy would actually be a chllange for her.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Kaida slashed another man, across the throat this time. Her rage was starting to simmer down from the blood letting, and she started to feel the pain from several cuts along her body. However, the adrenaline coursing in her viens kept her going. She'd deal with the wounds another time. She broke one man's nose, making him see stars, then shoved him back against the wall. She started to wonder where the guards were at.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Alec felt one of the guards slash at his back. He cursed as he swung around, extending his sword, and cutting the guy just below the neck, then proceeding to stab him. He turned towards where he had heard the scream, which had been what had distracted him. He saw a girl, but didn't know who it was, and he was too angry to care to find out. He simply reached towards her and pushed her backwards maybe a bit too roughly, with a quick, "Get out of here, lady." He then turned back to the men and jumped at another.Comment

oooh yuki thought a guy who doesn't want to help a damsel in distress yuki looked at him curiously for a moment, then shrugged I'll come back for you later she thought, running away to find someone more interesting.
Widow came around the Conner, passing yuki on the way. Her instincts were telling her that she would be trouble in the future but for one widow ignored them. That was when she saw Alec fighting those men. She placed Odin down where he couldn't be seen, and where she hopped he wouldn't get attacked "stay here" she said to Odin, kissing him lightly on his forehead. She turned running to help Alec "wanna tell me what's happened" widow said, as she slashed one mans back.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Kaida looked at the remaining two men. Five men lay dead or dieing, with the sixth laying stunned against the wall. She wanted one to question, so she could find Jacob again. She supposed the stunned man would work, but another would be good to compare with. She allowed one of the men to get by her to Alec, and stepped closer to the remaining one. Sheathing the sword, she started to brawl with the man. Since he still retained his sword, she recieved several cuts. But her breastplate kept her chest safe and she dodged swings to her head. After a few minutes, she was able to break the man's arm. He screamed with pain and dropped his sword. A twist later, she had his arms trapped behind his back. She looked over to see how Alec was doing.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Odin sat on the ground, watching Widow run off to somewhere. He was still feeling pretty sad and confused about everything. It occurred to him that playing a game might help to cheer him up. Playing always cheered him up. And his favorite game was hide and seek. Looked around he spotted a pile of boxes stacked in rows against the walls of an alleyway and his mouth curled up into a smile. Boxes made the perfect hiding spot! He waddled off to the pile and crawled into a shabby old box, peeking out a little from underneath.Comment

Alec barely heard Widow's voice near him, and at first thought the girl hadn't left, but then he turned and saw her, and for a moment he calmed down. Still, he didn't explain just yet, their time was short and he wanted Jacob back as soon as possible. He saw Kaida push one of the remaining men towards him and noticed that she had stopped aiming to kill the other and started restraining him instead. He thought she probably wanted to interrogate him, and it was a good idea. Two men's stories will be better than one, he thought as he sheathed the knife and dodged a slash from the man. He crouched and rammed the man after dodging another blow, pushing him backward towards the floor from the waist. He could feel a slash on his back, but didn't think about it for now. The blow to the man was enough to push the air out of him and make him drop the knife. Alec quickly stood up and made sure the man stayed down with his foot. He looked up at Kaida.Comment

Kaida gave Alec a nod as he pinned the final man. She looked up at Widow. "Do you have any rope? We need to bind these two up, as well as that one over there." She gestured to the man she had thrown against the wall. He was unconcious, and his broken nose was bleeding profusely, but Kaida was willing to bet that he'd still present a threat when he woke. Widow nodded reaching into the bag and grabbed out some rope. She chucked it towards Kaida without taking her eyes off Alec. She walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder "Alec" she pleaded "what happened, what was this all about" she needed to know, her gut told her she needed to know.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

When Widow threw the rope at Kaida he decided that she could handle them so he stepped off from the man, making sure to hit him in the head for good measure. He looked at Widow when she asked the question. The pain of hearing Kaida's words stil lingered in his mind, shining in his eyes. He opened his mouth to answer Widow, then closed it. He couldn't bring himself to say it, to tell her that little Jacob had been taken, that there was a chance they wouldn't see him again, see him alive. He closed his eyes rubbed his temple to stop the headache he was getting, then turned quickly to Kaida, to see if maybe she would be able to explain what had happened. Then he turned back to Widow, and even in all the worry and pain, he managed to notice something.
"Widow, where is Odin?" he asked, his voice sounding uneven.Comment

"don't worry he's safe I told him to stay right......" widow had been walking towards where she left Odin as she had been speaking and that was when she noticed he had left "oh god, Odin! Kaida tied the three men together, then sat them up next to a wall. She turned sharply as she heard Widow calling Odin. The pirate's voice was starting to sound shrill with her worry. Kaida sighed and stood. "Always have to hunt something," she muttered to herself as she started looking for the Deku.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Rin strolled through the market, looking for a prospective employer. She frowned slightly, hearing a woman hollering. She slipped down an alley towards the yelling. Turning a corner, she stopped short in surprise when she saw Kaida standing there. "Teacher? Is that truly you?"Comment
