Rin hugged her former mentor back, smiling. "I've been here and there, finding what work I can. And as for what I'm eating, it's been mostly fish except when I manage to get a room at an inn." She looked Kaida over. "You look like you haven't aged a day these last two years. What have you been up to?"

Kaida chuckled. "Once you hit 25, you don't age until 40. I thought I told you that." She gestured over to the three tied men and the panther sitting next to them. "The usual. Bought the panther today, can't figure out a name for her, though. These three helped kidnapping a boy, I'm waiting for them to wake up so I can question them." She bit her lip, then told Rin in a whisper, "Justin was killed earlier today also."Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Odin giggled to himself when he heard Widow calling for him and remained perfectly still. Or at least he tried to—all his laughing was making him and the box shake. Still, no one was ever going to find him here. He’d win for sure!Comment

Alec closed his eyes and sighed, deeply disturbed by the small one missing. Hearing Widow begin calling for him, he opened them and walked up to her quickly, holding her in his arms tightly. "Calm down," he said gently, trying hard not to freak out himself. "Even if you mean good, getting the attention of everyone here –including some non appreciated stares– might not be the best way to find him. He sighed and looked around again, "Besides, a little Deku like him, I'm sure he couldn't have gone far." He said this as calmly as he could, and tried with all his might to believe it. He had to believe it, losing two of the most important things in his life in a few minutes was more he could bare, but as long as he believed they could find Odin quickly, he could believe there was hope of finding Jacob unharmed. As if right on cue, a box a bit far away to the right began shaking. He eyed it suspiciously.Comment

Kaida glanced over to where Alec and Widow were standing before answering Rin's question. "No. I know he was killed with a sword, which narrows it down quite a bit, huh," she said scornfully. She hated not knowing things like this. She knew how wide the blade was, but again, that wasn't helpful. A thinner blade could easily mean a bigger man who needed less weight to his sword, or a man so tall he needed the thinner blade to balance the length. She punched the wall next to her with irritation, then shook her hand to rid it of the stinging pain from hitting too hard.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Rin sighed. "I'm sorry. I'll try to help you find out who the killer is, if you want." She reached over and gripped Kaida's shoulder gently, comfortingly. "I know you're doing your best, and I'm sure we'll find the person who did this."Comment

Yuki had stayed to watch them fight the men for a while, and noticed one of the girls, widow, calling out for someone called Odin "hmm" yuki said, as she saw a few boxes shake. She grinned evilly and jumped down and moved the boxes "hello there" yuki said "who are you"
Widow turned and started crying silently into alec's shoulder "what's going on, I'm so confused" she sobbed "I can't find Odin anywhere, and jacob..... Where is Jacob" widow kept crying into Alec's shoulder, for the first time in forever, widow actually felt scared.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Kaida pursued her lips as she watched the panther. "Araellenya..." she mused thoughtfully. After a few minutes of rolling the name around on her tongue, Kaida turned to Rin. "It's a beautiful name. However, I think it's a little long." She tried to say it gently so as not to offend her former pupil. Then another name came to her.
