Maxwell glared at everyone else. He felt like he was a joke to them. Tyra just kept laughing at him, which made Maxwell think all her strange words were just a big joke. Two newcomers arrived, but Maxwell didn't want to pay attention to them, seeing as one of them shared Tyra's lack of respect. Maxwell failed to catch how Tyra did this to everyone, but nothing would really change if he did. He was too angry to care if it was something done to everyone.
"I am done with you *******s. There isn't just a lack of respect, but the captain can't remember a thing she said a moment ago! **** foreigners, stay out of my life and go inform everyone you're from an island we don't know about, and maybe you can actually contribute to society!"
Maxwell stormed off, not wanting to deal with the newcomers anymore. Shade followed, not wanting to ask Maxwell what had just happened...yet. Shade would wait for Maxwell to cool off, then ask. Then he wouldn't be yelled at.

Felix looked around filled with curiosity. Not only the bustling town was foreign to him, but it wasn't every day you saw a drunken man shouting at their captain and then storming off, with a wolf at his heels no less. "What's with that sour puss?" he asked to no one in particular. He found him intriguing, but not enough to chase after him whilst he held the mule with everything they'd gotten. "I sure do hope not all people of this place have some metal stick poking at their back." He turned back, and just then noticed Ralatar standing there, listening to them. He considered for a second, then asked, "Do they?"

"Uhm, I don't think so," Ralatar responded to the boy holding a mule, not quite understanding what he meant at first. He had been a bit overwhelmed by meeting Maxwell and Tyra, and the arrival of two additional sailors didn't help. He looked over at Maxwell as he faded into the shadows of the night. "Don't worry, that just happens to be the biggest jerk in Termina."

Tyra raised an eyebrow as Maxwell exploded, again, and stormed off. "Cranky as a badger and prickly as a hedgehog," she muttered, then turned back to the boys. "Lads, I've a feelin' we'll be wanting him on the ship, regardless who foul-tempered he is. Felix, you tend to be the most respectful of us barbaric pirates, I want you to go after him. See if you can talk him into changing his mind, will you, Beaver? Oh, and don't call him crow. He doesn't like that so much." While her crew might not understand, she was a rather superstitious person. As a girl, she'd always admired wolves, and that fascination grew to near worship. Ever since receiving her ship, she believed that wolves were hers to protect, much as the ship protected her. So Maxwell having a wolf, and being able to commune with it, told her that she needed to help him. It helped that he seemed so completely lost as it was that pity motivated her to need to help him with whatever it was that had caused him to drink so much.
She ruffled the young Terminian's hair. "Sparrow, take the supplies back to the ship, would you, and see if the young pup here is interested in a tour of my wolf. And tell him about Logata while you're at it. Seems our home is as unknown to them as Hyrule and its countries are to us."

Ralatar was about to question Tyra, unable to see any benefit in having Maxwell in the crew, but the thought was interrupted when she had this "Sparrow" bring him down to the ship. With an ignited curiosity he didn't hesitate much to join him, but there was one thing bothering him still. He wasn't sure if what he was doing was a good idea at all. Yes, he had shown plenty of interest in joining the crew, but he had never exactly said that he would be willing to join them. Being a sailing crew, he had a feeling he would be away from home for a while, plus there was bound to be plenty of danger waiting in the waves--he was quite amazed that these sailors were able to reach Termina successfully from whatever faraway land they came from. Ral's family would have no idea where he had gone, and though he had faith he would return, he would certainly be away long enough for them to get worried."Hey..." he said, trying to catch the blonde boy's attention while he followed him through town. "I still have to tell my family I'm leaving. I don't even know if they'll let me!"

At that, Corin paused, his back to the Terminian boy who now held the mule's ropes--he made the boy carry them once they were away from the others. "Wow, I guess everyone around here does have a stick up their ***," he muttered, slightly misremembering what Felix had said before. However, what he meant seemed to be true. "You'll be fine. I'm sure your parents will be glad to take a few days off from having to deal with you." His words held some harshness that he wasn't known for, but he was just humoring himself. It was different, with all these newcomers who's ages did not seem to be far from his own. First the Rito, now this kid. They were both the same age if not younger, and Corin wasn't used to it. He never felt the need to give Zaria any crap, and he didn't mess with Felix enough to dampen their relationship. However, he felt like he had some control over these new boys, which isn't something he always felt. Maybe this was how his sister felt as the Captain over all the White Wolf's crewmates.

"Okay, first thing you should know is that my dad is dead--"

"Mine too... well he might be. I don't know. I don't really give a ****." He slid another carrot out of a sack from the mule and then had the boy continue following him down the street. "Having parents breathing down his neck never really did the mercenary much good anyways."

"Can't I just say bye to what family I do have?"

"Listen... pup. If you wanna be in our crew you gotta deal with not saying goodbyes all the time. When I send a ball through a man's gut, I barely have time for a quick ol' smile and wave." Corin paused, not wanting to get too harsh on the kid. Last thing they needed was to scare off yet another potential crewmate. He wasn't even sure where he was going with what he was saying, but he did know that the boy was going to have some toughening up to do before they were out on the sea. "Look, you've got a new family for a little while. A more interesting one than you've ever met, at that. Then before you know it, you'll be back at home with your boring family in your boring town, wishing you were still on the water."

"Why am I even agreeing to join you people..."

"Well for starters, you'll be off a few purples richer, and for us, the Wolf can use all the working hands it can get. But also, don't you want to make some use out of your life and leave something memorable? Last I checked, no Terminan has ever set foot on Logata. At least, I haven't seen anyone walking around there with a stick hanging out their *******." Corin indulged himself in one last snicker as he gnawed on the carrot and finally passed through Clocktown's west gate leading the ginger towing the mule.

Felix looked dubiously at Tyra, not sure if she was being serious or not, before looking at where the man had stormed off to. "I guess if you really want him... I'll do my best," he muttered, not too pleased with the idea of having to calm someone down but seeing no way out of it. He began walking in the same relative direction as Maxwell, albeit kind of slowly. It didn't take him long to find the man and his wolf, leaning against a wall off the street. If Felix didn't know better, he would've said Maxwell was probably banging his head against a wall. He started tentatively.
"Hey, mate, can I have a word?" He wondered how the Logatan accent sounded to the foreigner. At least he was glad they spoke more or less the same tongue.

Maxwell looked at the kid who approached him. He would've able to think this was some innocent Clock Town kid asking him what's wrong, but the accent was similar to the one Tyra had. Maxwell sighed.

"You can get lost, kid. I don't want anything to with you or your **** crew." Maxwell said, making eye contact. "Nothing's gonna get better if I go with you. I might as well just off myself, because I'm not worth anything anymore."

Shade sat nearby, curious of Maxwell's tone. He couldn't understand him, but something seemed wrong. Shade decided to wait for Maxwell to do something before stepping in.

Felix could already feel the annoyance climbing up his throat, but he forced himself to remain as calm as possible. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms, knowing better than to get too close to the wolf. "Woah, sorry. I wasn't aware all bogans can see well into the bloody future. You can, of course, how else would you know what coming with us will do for you?" He let the words sink in before continuing. "I don't really know who you are or why Tyra is looking to have you on the crew, though if you really think you're worth nothing she must have not quite explained what her ship is. After all, everyone is worth something aboard White Wolf. Even someone who was picked off another ship as a slave, like me, is worth more than offing oneself." He sighed and shook his head, pushing himself off the wall to get ready to leave. "But again, if you already know what's going to happen since you've, of course, seen the future, and don't care to try to see if something might change if you actually come with us, then by all means I understand you giving us the flick. I just thought you might want to at least try. Anyways, I'll just leave you to it. Hooroo, mate." He shrugged, and turned to go.

Maxwell thought about what Felix said. His words made Maxwell want to take what he said back and apologize, but something stopped him. Of course, that 'something' was Maxwell's pride, or what remained of it. Apologizing would mean deferring to Felix, which was something Maxwell couldn't bring himself to do.
He looked at Felix's back, waiting for him to leave him. Maxwell didn't understand these people. What was the point of recruiting worthless bums off the street? They couldn't do anything, let alone be a part of a crew. After what happened with Sephira, Maxwell didn't believe in kindness anymore. There had to be some way worthless bums benefited a crew like theirs.

Shade looked at his master contemplating the newcomer's words. Something was still wrong, but in a different way. Shade walked over to the newcomer, curious about this person who was making Maxwell act strangely. He went around so he could see the person's face, and looked up at him.
In his eyes, Shade saw calmness, which heavily contrasted the fiery energy of Maxwell. He seemed to be a pup, but Shade could see that he knew pain all too well. Just from looking, Shade could tell this person meant Maxwell no harm. He was friendly. Shade nudged the boy's hand, encouraging him to pet him.

Maxwell saw Shade walk up to the boy and interact with him. That was a downside of Shade not understanding the Hylian tongue. He could read a situation fairly well, but he didn't truly understand what was happening. But Shade's kindness helped Maxwell calm down.
Maxwell sighed. If Shade was being nice, then maybe apologizing wouldn't be so bad. Maxwell began to speak, but his pride silenced him. It still wouldn't let him apologize...at least, not directly. Maxwell sighed again, and walked over to Felix.
"I didn't know you could see the future as well, but if you're certain going along with you is the best path, then take me back to your leader."

Felix smiled warmly at the wolf, crouched, and began petting him. He had surprisingly soft fur. When Maxwell came up to him he stood up straight and looked him in the eye. After a moment's thought, a half smile returned to his lips. He nodded and turned back, walking in the direction they had just come. He didn't make sure but was certain Maxwell was following. "One thing I am sure of, is that coming along won't make you regret doing so in the long run. And I do think it might be a better path than any you could've taken in this place." He began thinking about it, and realized that Maxwell was probably not so bad. They just had to peel away the bitterness to get to him. When they got back to Tyra, he smiled at her and nodded.

Tyra adjusted the coyote mask, amused by herself. She didn't know why, but the image of her wearing a mask was funny, especially considering her reputation on the sea. Feared Captain Tyronica Vian of the White Wolf wearing a mask and grinning like a child. She still chuckling over the idea when Felix came back, Maxwell and Shade in tow. Her grin broadened as she stripped off the mask. "Beaver convinced the crow to become a sea bird, eh? Good. Now we can go explore the coast with someone who'll know where we are. Maybe make you cast off the grim black you carry and turn you white?" She cocked her head, still grinning at him, then ruffled Felix's hair. "Alright, Beaver, think we can ship out? You and Sparrow seemed to get plenty of supplies, and if the masks my brother bought are any indication, you got some unique things to sell as well. Shall we make for the White Wolf and see what else this land has to offer further north? Or should we head south?" She pursed her lips, considering, but not really caring at the moment if they came up with a direction to take, not until she had her hands back on the tiller of her beloved vessel.

Felix smiled as she ruffled his hair, then answered. "Hm, I think either way will lead to some adventure. Still, I feel like sailing North omens a better future for us than South." He nodded to himself as he thought, then repeated it. "Yeah, definitely North." He too was aching to get back close to water, and the sooner they did that the sooner he'd feel even happier. He stretched and waited for Tyra to hand out further instructions, bouncing from one foot to the other.

Maxwell decided to not reply Tyra's weird metaphoric talk, and instead focused on thinking about what they would find if they sailed north. To Maxwell's knowledge, those were uncharted waters, and they were unlikely to find anything there.
"North? I wouldn't recommend it. Those are uncharted waters, so there probably isn't much chance we'll find something other than water there. Plus, we might run into those **** Gerudo pirates. Hopefully, your ship would be able to handle them, but for all I know, you all came here on a big raft with no cannons. Normally, I'd say that's a dumb idea, but it doesn't seem too unreasonable with you lot. South might yield better results, because at least we'd be heading towards somewhere notable. Plus, we'd be dealing with friendly Zoras who might trade us something useful instead of fighting hostile Gerudo."

Tyra chuckled as she led the way out of the town and back towards her ship. A raft. She couldn't help it, Maxwell's low opinion of her and her crew was amusing. She was half-tempted to go north just to see these pirates and prove to him the strength and valor of her White Wolf. However, she didn't dare put her ship at risk so far from home. While she was pretty sure Corin had brought extra supplies to patch up any damage from a battle, as well as the skill to fix any such damage, she'd prefer not risking something too extensive happening to her baby. "South it is then," she said, throwing an arm around Felix's and Maxwell's shoulders. "I'm curious how different your Gerudo are from ours, but I'd rather get some sun and warmth. No offense, Maxy, but Termina is dark." She grinned and winked at him.

Maxwell chuckled. "I guess it's not too different from life. Anyways, you wouldn't want to meet them. All they do is steal, and they have no honor."

Tyra's cheery mood was beginning to weird Maxwell out. She seemed to be constantly winking or grinning at him. Did she really get such a kick out of picking random people to join her crew? Surely, she's insane.
