The Sun went below the horizon, and with a flash he was frozen where he was sitting, next to Sephira, never to move again. James' eyes flickered opened, and he silently groaned. It'd been a while since he'd slept for so long. However it only took the pressing fear in the back of his mind of where they were and what was going on, with an added hint of nightmare to turn his night restless. He felt the rays of sunshine rising and pulled himself up, gently moving Star to the side. He sat there for a few seconds, rubbing the rest of the night away from his eyes. Finally he looked around him, as he felt someone looking at him. After glancing at Elwood to make sure he was safe with Midnight, he eyes fell on Sephira. At first he thought he was dreaming, but he realized it was really her. He had never seen her looking like that. The dress caused the effect of elegance and royalty, while the hair no longer in its usual braid cascaded down her shoulders. In a few words, James thought she looked dazzling. A smile on his face was inevitable, but it carried a hint of worry. Why was she dressed differently?
"Hey," he said sheepishly, "what's going on?"

Star blinked sleepily as she was moved, wondering what was going on. She caught Sephira's scent and glanced over. She was surprised that the Stari was wearing different clothes than normal, but she was used to two-legs wearing different kinds of outfits on a daily basis. It was like a bird shedding its feathers every day, rather than twice a year. She yawned and lay down again, happy to let her mistress watch James now.
Sephira smiled as she saw James wake and held a hand to him. "I need to talk to you. In private." She led him a ways from the others, making sure that there weren't too many of the rebels around either, in case she woke someone. She took a deep breath to steady herself, then said, "Edward has asked me to become an insider. I am to enter into Maxwell's ranks and spy on them, preferably on the alpha himself. I have already worked out everything I need to so I can find a way into his inner circle and how I'll be sending messages back here. I need you to keep an eye on Elwood and the others and keep them safe while I'm gone. It'll be a lot easier for me knowing they're safe." She smiled gently at him and reached out to squeeze his hand. "Don't worry about me, James. I can keep myself safe if I'm not distracted by worrying for anyone."

        *From Wanted*

Ralatar snuck around the outside of the rebellion camp, making his way towards an empty bed. Most people in the camp were sleeping in beds like this, and it wasn't too hard to get to the one he was focusing on without being caught. He had decided that the best way to carry out his plans would be to act as a rebel for the night and maybe the following day too so everyone was sure he was like them. Then he would do what brought him to the camp in the first place. Once he had arrived at the bed, he silently laid down on it. It took a while to sleep as he tried to plan out the next day in his head, feeling a tiny bit of worry and a lot of confidence in succeeding. He finally dozed off when there was not a sound in the camp and he felt like he had made it completely unnoticed.

James instinctively knew something was wrong when he pulled him somewhere more private. It only took a few more seconds for the remnants of sleep to drift away. He listened to everything she said calmly. He knew she was worried he wouldn't be OK with it, for obvious reasons, but he tried to trust her as he always had. "Seph, there are so many things that could go wrong with this plan. What if you're discovered? I have no idea how laws are here, but back in Hyrule punishment for treason is not very nice. Are you sure you wanna do this? I mean why you, why now? What if it's a trap? What if Edward is trying to get you killed? What if Edward is Maxwell in disguise? What if..." he stopped himself. The questions had come out rushed, so he took a moment to breathe. He looked down, at his hand, which was being held by Sephira. "I've always trusted your decisions, and I do now as well. I'll make sure to keep the others safe so there's nothing you need to worry about. I mean, I know your abilities exceed those of almost anyone else, but maybe, I don't know, I should come with you. I could help and," he stopped, again. A quiet chuckle flew through his lips and he shook his head slowly. "No, I know you wouldn't allow it. You probably have better chances of staying in disguise without me there. Everything will probably be fine, I guess I'm just not happy with the rebels putting someone they just met into such a highly important position. I mean it sounds very fishy to me..." You're talking too much, calm down. He knew Sephira hadn't had a chance to respond yet, but he spoke one last time. "You will be fine, I'm sure," he mumbled, "...but, what if you're not?" Finally, he looked up at her again, straight in the eye. A few years before, that would've meant looking up at her. But now, him being 16 and her 18(?), they were the same height, him pushing to be taller soon. His eyes were cold with worry, but his voice was warm, loving, like a boyfriend's would be. "What if something happens to you, Seph? I...I don't want to lose you. I can't."

((?)*I'm not sure she's 18 but since James was 14 when she was 16 I just calculated 16 and 18.)

Sephira smiled as James proceeded to tell her everything wrong with the plan. It frustrated her that he was worried like that, but understandable. He's getting so big, she realized. And so sweet. Just like- She cut off the thought before she could finish it.
"James," she said softly when he finished. "Do you remember what I told you after rejoining you in the desert? I had given you a message from Elliot. Did you wonder how I could get one from him? He's dead after all." She laid a hand on his shoulder. "I died. I went to the nether world." Her other hand touched her side, not where the arrow had pierced her phoenix, but where another blade had cut her down. "You've seen my fire and my phoenix. My last gift is to be reborn every time I die until I conceive my first child. It is impossible for me to remain dead." She bit her tongue as she noticed regret creeping into her voice. I do not want him thinking I have a death wish.
"You wouldn't want to come anyways; it would be too painful for you," she said aloud. "You don't want to see the woman I need to become."

(He can sneak along after her. If Z holds off finding her until they're in Clock Town, she won't be able to turn him away.)

James listened and was left in awe when she finished. If what she said was true, which it obviously was, it meant she would be safe no matter what. In his mind he realized what a great plan to ensure the continuation of the Stari bloodline that ability seemed to be. Seeing her as calm and relaxed and certain of the plan as she was also relaxed him. Finally, the worry subsided, and the logic followed. She was right, it was the best way to go about it. He laughed, "I dunno, I'm sure I could handle whoever you become." He winked playfully and sighed, admitting defeat. "Alright, if you think it'll be fine, I trust you. I always do." He waited for her to say something else. For a moment he realized that not being able to die didn't mean they couldn't torture her. However, he quickly shook off the idea. She'd never allow that to happen, it'll be fine.

Sephira smiled as she saw the awe cross James' face. She very rarely told anyone about her third gift, but those few had always been amazed by it. Strattus, of course, had been shoked speechless when he saw her re-born. As for Him...
You don't know who I have to be, James. You don't know who I really am. What I'm capable of. You think you know me, but I am heartless. She shook her head, trying to lose the dark thoughts. "I need to tell Edward how I plan to enter Clock Town, and how I will be sending him messages. Then I leave. I want to get there as soon as I can, although I'll wait until the sun has reasonable to a more reasonable time. I might be an early riser, but you city folk like to sleep in more." She nudged his hip with her own to let him know she was teasing, then kissed his forehead. "Good luck, James. Keep my family safe."
Zarola yawned. "Can we go now? You're wasting time assuring someone who isn't your equal, even if you think he should be your mate." Sephira ignored the panther.

James murmured a goodbye and sighed reluctantly. Then he remembered that he hadn't asked Sephira what she had talked about them being divided into groups during the night. Although, now he thought about it, the only thing they'd probably talked about was her new role in this revolution. He watched her go, deciding not to follow and ask her. After all, he couldn't deal with another goodbye at the moment. The Goddesses knew there was enough worry in his heart as is. He turned back and returned to where the others were still sleeping, luckily remembering the route. He sat down in a chair nearby, and half-watched over the group half-immersed himself in his own thoughts. Originally he had been planning on waking them up so that they could go find those guys from last night and ask them about their jobs in the camp, but he decided against it. They'd all been through a lot and deserved more rest. Sadly for him, going back to sleep was not something he had ever been able to do. So he decided to wait for them to wake up, and then he would tell them what was happening. He also weighed his decision of finding Maxwell after Sephira had left and letting him know if anything happened to her, it was his fault. The thought alone of what he would do to the guy was enough to keep him occupied for a while.

The sunlight woke Inga up fairly early, but apparently not early enough to be the first person awake. She saw James watching over the group from a chair, and everyone else seemed to be asleep. Soon she also noticed Sephira walking away in a fancy outfit that she would never associate with Staris, from what she knew about the forest race. Something was obviously up, and she a bit curious. She could only guess that Sephira was already assigned a role to help the rebels.
"Good morning, Mister Borgon," she said, walking over to the young man. "What's Sephira up to?"

Sephira took Ash's reins and led him through the camp as she searched for Edward. Not many people were up yet, but enough that could tell her where their leader might be. Her black boots picked their way carefully around various animal droppings and human leavings as she rehearsed in her head the story she'd be telling Edward. A princess of Hyrule, who's family had been killed by a jealous man, who then took over her throne. He banished her from the country, but he had let her take whatever she chose. The outfits she had selected had all been worn out until she had only this one left, which she had refused to wear until today because it was her favorite, having been given to her by a close friend. Zarola was a tamed pet, although the panther often had a mind of its own, as all cats do. Ash was just the stallion she had selected to carry when leaving, there wasn't anything special about him, really. She had been taught to use the bow and arrows, so she'd brought a set along when leaving. Her sword, though, had to remain with James. She didn't want to risk it being interpreted as a threat, especially when her skill was with the bow.
As for her talent with fire, she was going to try not to use it at all. Her phoenix form also would remain hidden away. Her scars though, especially the ones that marked killing wounds, would have to be explained away carefully. She didn't want to come off as too dangerous by giving their story too much truth, but she also didn't want to come off as vulnerable and weak. Of course, she didn't want to make the stories have impossible situations. Maybe she'd explain them as things that had happened before the banishment, when she was younger. Maybe she had been captured as a child and been tortured?
It doesn't matter yet, she told herself. This dress hides them all well enough, so I should have until he sees me without it.
And where the bloody blazes is Edward at?

Edward stood at the edge of the camp in the spot that Jacob and Zebulon had been earlier, looking at Clock Town.

How did I let this happen? Edward asked himself. He should've taken care of Maxwell before he invaded Clock Town. But Edward spent too much time coming up with a contingency. I held back, because I feared I would become like him. Now, there's no other way.

He looked back into the camp, and saw that Sephira was wandering around.

"Hey! Over here!" Edward said, loud enough so Sephira could hear him, but soft enough not to wake anyone up.

James smiled at the title and nodded at Inga. "Morning. I hope you got enough rest. We're probably going to need it," he said and looked at where the girl was looking. Sephira had now disappeared in her search for Edward. "She, um," he answered, not too sure how much of the plan he could reveal for now. However, he realized, it was the rebels he didn't trust, not his companions. "She's got herself an assignment from Edward. Yeah, she's going to infiltrate Maxwell's chain of command or something." He shook his head, still uncomfortable with the job she had to do. There was nothing he could do about it now, so he shook it from his mind and looked back at Inga.

Sephira looked up as she heard Edward's voice. She nodded to him, then turned Ash and carefully picked their way over. Zarola pattered alongside her. "Good morning, Edward," Sephira said softly as her trio got close. "I believe I have my whole story figured out and am ready to go. Ash here will be my steed, while Zarola my pet. She will carry messages from me to you. If you need to, you can send her back with any messages, or send my wolf Midnight or my cheetah FallenStar. They are intelligent, and they will find a way to deliver it to me without blowing my cover." She placed her fist over her heart and bowed slightly. "I am ready to serve as your spy, as long as you will keep your promise and keep my family safe."

Edward nodded. "I will protect your family with my life, if it means you will do this nation a great favor and help get rid of this tyrant who calls himself the king of Termina." Edward said, slightly bowing as well.

"Any questions? Now would be the best time.If not, I suggest you start moving. The guards tend to be in a better mood earlier in the day."

This...sendoff, as it were, felt weird to Edward. He hated it and loved it at the same time. He was sending someone off to their possible death to the person he hated the most, but at the same time, Ed knew this could mean victory for the resistance. Ed had a similar feeling when he sent the raiders on their first mission.

Hopefully she'll have their kind of luck...

"Wow," was all Inga said at first, unable to help being surprised. It sounded like Sephira had been assigned a pretty important task. Something about it all seemed a bit strange to Inga though. "I'm kinda surprised that they're being so quick to give assignments like that to strangers. Sephira's sounds like a big one too." Maybe the rebels were becoming really desperate.
"And why would she want to take a job like that for these rebels we barely know?" Inga continued, watching the Stari ride over to the rebel leader. Inga still didn't care too much for the rebels or whatever was going on in Termina. "It sounds dangerous... I hope she'll be alright."
