Alec nodded in understanding as Kaida explained, then hurried after her. He groaned when they were stopped by that Yuki girl, she seemed to be everywhere today. Of course, he wasn't angry at seeing her, he hadn't noticed her kidnapping Odin after all. "Ugh, what do you want? We're busy," he said, beginning to move to the side so they could keep running past her.

Kaida didn't notice the young woman step in front of them. Not until she cannoned into her, anyways. Kaida fell back onto her rear, surprised by what had happened. She glared up at the girl. "Watch where you're going, girl. Alec grunted as he hit the ground then quickly rolled away from her. He jumped to a stand an after aknowledging that Kaida was fine, he drew one of his knives and said, "OK, I'm done." He began twirling it in his hand as he walked towards the girl. "You should know better than to mess with certain people," he hissed at the girl.Comment

Kaida grumbled to herself, but had to acknoledge that the girl was correct, she should have been watching her own way. She did, however, notice the girl mention something about a pirate and Deku. Odin and Widow? she wondered. When Alec drew his blades, Kaida thought it was a good time to get going. If the young man distracted the girl long enough, Kaida could get into the hideout without this girl raising the alarm. She started to move back, away from her original intended destintion, so that the girl would think she was just moving away from the fight. Once the two actually crossed blades, Kaida would be gone, using the twos' tunnel vision to keep from being noticed.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

There was a glint in Alec's eyes as he heard the girl mention a pirate back in Clocktown. Widow... he thought. The Sun's light washed over the land, the lack of clouds clearly doing nothing to help reduce the heat. Alec took a deep breath. He hadn't fought in a while, but he was confident he could beat her, or at least hold her long enough to Kaida to do something. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the young woman moving backwards, and he knew this was her plan too. Without further thought he threw one of the knives at the girl and charged forward behind it.Comment

Kaida gave Alec a slight nod, so tiny it was barely noticable. She saw by his sidways glance that he guessed her plan, and was certain he would do what he could to help her get through. She continued to edge backwards. All she needed now was for the girl to engage fully, to develope the tunnel vision most people did when in a fight, the complete focus on protecting her life.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

As soon as the girl was close enough Alec twirled backwards and slashed upwards with his arm, thus putting his body out of harms way but still aiming to hurt the girl. For a moment the Sun shown right in his eyes and we went blind for a second. He felt his knife make contact with something, but what he didn't know.Comment

Alec felt something cut against his wrist. He grunted and jumped backwards to avoid damage while he surveyed the wound. It wasn't deep, along the left side of his wrist. Luckily, it had been on the wrist in which he was no longer holding a knife. His other arm was just fine. Twirling the knife in it, he glared at the girl before walking up to her slowly, ready to fend off any attack she might launch.Comment

Yuki looked at them both too weak she thought if I was at my full strength this would be easy. Yuki grinned jumping backwards standing just in front of the hatch to her lair "well this has been fun, but I'm too tired to fight right now" she backflipped falling down the hatch to her and landing on her feet. she got up quickly yelling out "Maxwell intruders close to the main hatch" she found a few of her men "lazy jerks, go and defend the hatch" the men nodded running towards the hatch, ready to defend the lair "now to find maxwell" Yuki said running off towards his chamber.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Kaida swore as the girl vanished down the hole. She had just been ready to make a run for the trail. Now the base was on alert. She could hear the soldiers running through the tunnels, shouting at each other. She swore again, then turned to Alec. "That plan's screwed. What do you want to do?" Normally, she would meld back and wait for everything to calm down again, but she doubted this boy would be willing.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Maxwell knew what was going as soon as he heard the sound. Rebels? Already? I must be thinking too loudly.
"Jacob, stay here." Maxwell said, looking towards the door. "I have to take care of some business." Maxwell got up and opened the door, only to see Yuki running down the hallway.
"Don't tell me, I know." Maxwell said as he passed Yuki. As he continued to walk towards where Alec and Kaida where, he saw more soldiers run past him. When he got to the exit, the soldiers were lined up on the sides of the tunnel.
"I'll be in trouble if any of you betray me; you know what I want before I say it." Maxwell said, earning a few laughs from the soldiers. After the last of the laughs ceased, Maxwell climbed out and stood in front of the entrance/exit and saw Kaida and Alec.
"You two aren't allowed in this area, but I'm not going to kick you out. No, I'm going to make sure you can't move, talk, think, or anything. As much as I hate to spill your blood on this beautiful grass, I have to. But before you die, I might as well introduce myself. I am Maxwell Kal, future king of Termina, and my blade will be the last thing you see!"

Jacob simply nodded when Maxwell said he had some business to take care of. Jacob didn't know what it was, but he knew it was something bad because of the soldiers' yelling. Usually, in situations like this, Jacob would've secretly followed Maxwell, but something told him not to, so he stayed put.Comment
