Well guys, right around this time, I usually send out a list of updates around the site. While most of you may have noticed by now, there's a new section for the Guns of Icarus game.
We also took time to discuss the recent suggestions to the character app, courtesy of Batpool. On behalf of the staff, we thank you for the well thought out suggestions and appreciate you taking the time to speak up about what you have in mind.
With these choices in mind, we as the Staff have gone ahead and made our decisions on the various matters and below is a list of additions and changes around the site.
We're closing in on our Four Year Anniversary of the site's founding, ten days from this post, if you're not counting. I want to thank you all for your continued support and appreciation. We've gotten several new members over the past year and some returning ones and I'm personally thankful for all of you, even if I don't say it all the time. We've had a rough time too but the fact that we're still moving forward is something that I couldn't be happier about. You're all wonder and magnificent people and I love you all, even you do occasionally get on my nerves.

With these choices in mind, we as the Staff have gone ahead and made our decisions on the various matters and below is a list of additions and changes around the site.
- There is now a Guns of Icarus section below the roleplaying section on the main forum board. Since several members, including myself, play the game and are in a clan, the clan leader had asked me to allow his clan to make its home here. This also includes the introduction of new members that shall be treated as a normal member. The staff and I agreed on the following conditions:
- The FIRE Clan will not directly influence or affect the main RP of Age of War, unless those members have approved characters and join.
- In addition, as some of you have noticed, Flebe has been appointed moderator of the Guns of Icarus section. He is the leader of the clan and his leadership status is within that section. He's a good guy and I expect you all to treat him fairly as you would with any other staff member.
- Other members interested in Guns of Icarus Online or the FIRE clan are more than welcomed to participate in the dedicated section. I do not want you all to feel discouraged for something you may be interested in.
- A new theme is currently being worked on to give the Icarus members something non-Zelda-y to look at while they browse the forums and post. It is currently accessible to all members.
- In addition, the character apps have been updated for the main roleplay. You may go ahead and read the post HyrulianBlackcat made in Batpool's initial thread on the changes, but the list is as follows:
- A character motivation was added to the "Character's Biggest Desire" entry. You may choose one or both.
- Pets, to reiterate, should be placed with the NPC apps (upon permission). If you wish to make a custom app for the pet, you may do so as long as the basic information of the app is included.
- Additionally, weapons should be placed within a characters appearance section. You may add it to the combat, but we prefer to see it with the appearance.
- There is also a new field at the bottom to allow members to add any other relevant information about a character that may not conform to the basic entries fields.
- Finally, a new rule has been added to the character list and it is the reinstallment of RP Samples. This bit is required for newer and inexperienced members who have less than five approved characters. This is not optional otherwise.
- While the Minecraft server will remain active and vanilla, a second, modded one is in the process of being built/founded to allow for us to use as a dedicated roleplaying server. More details will be posted soon.
