    IMPORTANT! Age of War's Future

    Alright after voting in the poll in my idea corner, and viewing the results. Some members have addressed concerns about merging the multiple lands together. I have talked with the members and on the chat, ShadowJet has come up with an alternative solution to have both the old and my plans for Age of War. He said why not split the site into the "Classic" Age of War and the "Evolved" Age of War.

    His suggestion, something I'm not fond of, is to break the site apart and have two sister sites. I'm against this, as I feel it would be forcing the community to choose one over the other. And as you all know, I'm opposed to destroying the community I love.

    The idea I managed to form together based from this will result in a similar style to many of the other Zelda forums. I would create two categories for the Role-Playing setup with all the other topics. They will have a title similar to the ones stated above. And from there, they will be broken up and made to accordingly. The Classic Age Of War setup will be the Proboards format and will be re-constructed in its entirety. I will then relinquish all authority over that section to Zeke and allow him to modify and edit it as he sees fit, including the character application style and format, should he wish to change it.

    The Evolved Age of War will contain all of the new overhaul ideas, as well as Logata. In which I will continue my authority over this section and the rest of the site.

    I WANT YOUR FEEDBACK! Please, everyone's feedback is really important as this will ultimately decide Age of War's fate. I will leave this topic open in which I will allow everyone to speak up, voice concerns or alternative ideas. Anything to say at all about this will be very important.

    i think it sounds like an interesting idea, as long as i can rp in both of them ^_^ lol. in any case, i would like to try it out first before i make any judements on it.

      Of course, I was thinking to keep the characters separate, but should we break it up, then I will confer with Zeke and we will decide.

        An idea would be to use this site as a sort of 'hub'; I've made lots of friends and would hate to lose them simply because they like a different version of AoW than me. We could RP in both, I assume?
        So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.
        My 3DS Friend Code is 3437-3052-8998. I'm usually playing the MH4U demo or MH4U(When it comes out), but I'd also be down for 3DS Smash Bros.

          I've been wanting to make new people for ages, why do you think i wanna kill off widow and rose? Only reason ive started a pole is cause I don't want to upset everyone. In any case I'll just use this new thing (cause I sorta get it but not completely lol) as a way of being able to make new people...... That's of corse if i understanding what your saying right.

              Sounds good to me.
              How about the chatbox for the two sites are the same? That way it feels less like the two are splitting up.

                I'm so torn about this. I mean, if you really want to go through with this split, I guess go for it, as long as we can still use the same characters for both sites (and make new ones). I guess it'd be like the same character going on different adventures since it's different sites? It could get hard switching between sites though, since it'd be like taking care of multiple characters (even if they are the same). I dunno, I'm probably not making much sense right now. I'd like to see how it looks and works first, before everything is official.

                  You guys...did you even read the last two thirds of Kairu's post? He's gonna use this site for both Classic AoW and Evolved AoW. If you did read the last two thirds, then don't say sites. It is really confusing and not to mention annoying because usually, when someone says sites, it means web sites, not halves of one site.

                  Okay, my rant on that is over. Thank you for your time, people who don't read majority of a post/people who need to word things better.

                  As for the idea itself....well, I can't really give any feedback since I came up with it, but the only reason I suggested this idea is because(as Kairu said in the first post) some people were against the land merging idea from the Idea Corner. I don't remember exactly how I came up with this idea, but I saw it as the perfect comprimise. So if you are against my (brillant) idea, then have fun proposing a better comprimise to Kairu.

                    Sorry, Z. I misinterpreted what Proboards format ment.

                    Anyways, if it is all on this site, then we're not really splitting, are we. We're just categorizing for two different things. Sounds like a load of fun!

                      Correct, it'd still all be on warofages.org, however the listing would be drastically changed. And this could very well lead to a change in the staffing as well. Since I would allow Zeke up to Admin Assistant to me. And since I pay for the site, I would still be the big man. HBC would still be my right hand, and Ryli, if she wishes, can be her assistant.

                        This may be kinda biased since I like the position it puts me in, but I think that it is a good idea and I can promise that there will not be any kind of disappearance from me like there was before, I'm here to stay.

                          Same here. I'm here to stay, no matter if you split it or not. As long as I can continue to rp, it's all good with me. Then again, I'm an official rp addict. RP is my kung-fu, and it is strong.

                            Ok, thank you guys. I'll keep this up for the remainder of the week, should anyone change their minds or come up with a better alternative. I also want to point out that for the sake of arguments, that until further investigation, I will move all current posts forward into the "Evolved Age of War". That will enable Zeke free reign with his portion. However, should I discover a way to duplicate posts and threads, I will do so to all relevant topics and threads.

                              With it being Saturday, this thread is closed now. Come tomorrow morning, the overhaul will be complete and Age of War will have it's makeover. Thank you everyone for your opinions.
