Well everyone that time is coming up where I would like to get another person to help out around the site. It's clear all of us have taken up different roles for the site and different ways we help and contribute, which I appreciate fully from the bottom of my heart

The biggest thing I think we need help with is getting someone to sorta troll the SB where, myself in particular, cannot. They will have a second expected role to also look through the different active topics and make sure the 3-sentence rule is still being upheld. :P Keep in mind, that the candidate must also be able to flex their authoritive muscle should a conflict arise.

Now that brings us to the current applicants:

activity: almost every day (weird times because I love in Australia though)

why: although moderating forums would be hard for me, I would be fine moderating the shout box, Im good at seeing both sides of an argument so it's usually easy for me calm down an argument between people, Im not afraid to disciple people, and when I put my mind to something I can actually be a real perfectioness.

How Active Are You: On once a day, save the times when I am sick or super-busy(maybe once a month tops)
Why Do You Think You'd Be Good For This Position: I'm on the shoutbox almost constantly and I will often prowl the forums when bored, which is most of the time. I'm pretty good at resolving conflicts and finding solutions and I have no problem enacting the rules to the fullest extent of the rules when need be. I also have a very wide perspective and can see the differences in opinions.

Why Do You Think You'd Be Good For This Position: I was in this position before, so I have experience, I am not biased, and I have a lot of experience with forums and the like. I also like to chat with the members and look at random threads, so I will be likely to see broken rules if they are there.

Why: I have some experience with modding forums, but probably not as much as adfalcon does. However, being the second member besides Zeke and Ryli (with Eko being the first member) who has been here for a year, I have seen a lot of character applications and typical mistakes that people have made, which leads into one of my reasons for wanting to be mod. Sometimes, when people post a character app, a staff member who isn't lazy to approve it isn't on for 5-12 hours. Now, I'm not trying to offend any of the staff, but it is something that I have noticed during my time on AoW. Because of how often I am on, I feel I would be able to help end this problem and improve the time from which a member posts a character app to the time that a staff member looks over it.
I also think I would be a good shoutbox mod. I see people break a few rules sometimes, and I would love to have the power to discipline people if they broke those rules again, just because a) you need to follow the rules and b) watching people break rules and not get to try and discipline them without them yelling at you about not being the boss of them would be fantastic. However, I can't promise I will be impartial. I will try to be impartial, but I can't say that I will ALWAYS BE IMPARTIAL NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE. I will try to hear each side out, but I would really not advise making me a mod for my impartial-ness or whatever. But one thing I am good at is editing. If a post in the shoutbox doesn't make sense, I will change it to what I think might be the message of the member for the sake of the other members.
Well, that is all I can say about why I think I would be a good mod. I hope you will consider making me a mod after reading this application.

This is, of course, as always, an open discussion amongst ourselves. Due to the line-up of the current staff, here's how each vote from the staff will be broken down:
Theo, Ammy, Ryli, Zeke, and HBC votes will all be worth one. While my own will be worth two, should a tie occur, this will break it.

Think it over, post your thoughts if you'd like, and please consider everyone's ability to get along with other members, how active they are, past infractions and the like.

I can't ever remind Z being off the site for an extended period of time *minus holidays* and he seems to be on nearly all day. Even if he is just creeping along the forums. When other members get on the site and get on the shoutbox, if Z's on the site he'll usually say he's not active or start talking.

Falc I'm really not sure about. All silliness aside, he has a habit of dissapearing for months on end. He does have experience though, and perhaps if he's a mod he might actually stay on the radar for a good length of time.

Since Blendercat and I fued a lot, I'm not going to say anything that'll probably become biased.

Midna has bad grammar, but she at least gets the point across when she's on the shoutbox. A lot of the times she's on, Midna is using her iPad. I know from the exerpience on my Tablet that its a pain in the butt to use propper grammar without taking forever to type a shout or a reply to a thread. She, like myself, don't get along with Blendercat too often from what I've seen. But I think that they'll show some more respect for each other if one becomes mod, as in, respect for a member from mod, and respect from mod to member.

I'd have to say either Z or Blender. Yes Blender and I always fight, but we seem to have gotten to more of a peace agreement lately. I have noticed that he can be patient, and he is a grammar nazi, possibly even more so than your truely.
I agree with Z on the abscence of mods for the charactor apps. I also know he is on a lot, and he slinks around quite a bit. I doubt very much that he would with hold punishment because of friendship.
Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

As for me, I think, for all intents and purposes, Z is currently the best option as of the moment. He's online fairly often to know what is going on and what's what. My only issue with Blender is that he tends to be that he spouts random, pointless crap. If he becomes mod, I would definitely like to see this change, however it isn't a requirement, it's just my point of view. As for Midna, she could be a mod, but I feel that, like Z, she may not assert the authority they need to should a conflict arise between members. And finally with Falcon, I like Falcon. He's a fairly decent mod and I know he's had experience along with now pretty much all of the candidates minus Z. But my problem with Falcon is that he disappears way too often, which is why I removed him from staff to begin with. I can excuse holidays for absences, but for extended periods of time is where I become discontent, so long as there is not a believable excuse, like Ryli.

From my point of view, I don't want to have Blendercat for mod, because of biased opinions. Kairu has a point about Falcon, but I still think that Z is a pretty good choice, should he somehow be able to show athority if a conflict occurs.

Something else I just noticed is that Z is also a lot like me when it comes to posting "formal" posts. I just noticed that he bolded the different section titles which, for me, grants him a couple bonus browny points. I would like to hear Theo's idea, however, if he doesn't reply by Friday, I will announce the new mod Saturday. If you have nothing else to add such as other points (which I might use in the announcement post), then please cast your vote.

            My vote is Z.

I'm voting for Z, as BC, my second choice is often biased and kind of rude. Falc would be a good choice too, however, and I can't really speak against him for going off the radar. Z's good at posting, probably would be fair with discipline, and is online a lot.

Blendercat, as I said before, I can't say much because it'll be biasd.
Repeating again, Falcon goes off the radar way too long.
Midna did this for laughs, I don't think she was serious about the job at all.

                So My Vote: Z
