James stopped for a moment to catch his breath. He looked around while breathing deeply, taking a look at his surroundings. They had finally entered the Gerudo Valley. The desert covered a vast territory, but most of its surface was a barren wasteland with no signs of life other than some monsters, he knew, like Moldorms, Bulblins and Leevers. It also had long endless holes within its surface which would make it harder to move faster through the desert[1].
He turned back to see if the others were following. It was already a bit hotter than usual, but the Sun was now completely set, so in a few minutes the temperature would drop drastically. He counted the members, and realized Rose wasn't there. He didn't think much of it, because he was sure she had stayed behind and waited for Sephira. However, the other girl had already been a while, so he was starting to get a bit worried. He sighed, there was nothing he could do about it now. He looked around again, this time trying to see if he could spot a route they could take that would lead them out of the Desert soon. Off in the distance, he saw bits of what he knew was the Gerudo Fortress, though it was now being hidden by the darkness. Certainly, they didn't want to follow the path that lead them there. Even further away, to the North, he could barely make out the top of a large building. He had heard stories, legends, about it, the Arbiter's Grounds, which meant he didn't want to go anywhere near that either. That meant for now the only path they could follow was West. He tried to look as far as he could, but still he couldn't see something to indicate there being another land beyond the Desert. Maybe when the Sun came back up he'd try to look again. He pondered if they should wait for the girls here, or keep going.
Elwood looked around gaping. It had been incredible for him seeing Hyrule Field, but seeing this place where he couldn't see a single spot of green anywhere was a whole 'nother level. He began walking around, testing out the density of the ground beneath his feet and investigating the crunching sound coming from his steps. The smell was also foreign to him, almost from another planet. He couldn't identify what it was, so he decided for now he would simply call it "the other smell". He just now realized the Sun was down. He began feeling the pain in his limbs, but for some reason he didn't fall and writhe in pain like the last time. Nia suddenly jingled in his ear, softly as if not to disturb the noises of the desert. You didn't feel as bad as yesterday because you didn't use as much of your energy as you did yesterday. The less you get tired in the day, the less you will feel it in the night.
He nodded slowly. Maybe he should start being more careful during the day, and playing less? He looked at Midnight. Nah.
#5: The Forgetfulness Orb was discovered in Egypt. Looking directly into it causes total forgetfulness of whatever the person holding the orb wants you to forget.
