When they arrived at the others, Donovan got off of Chadur, preferring standing over the horseriding position. Kaida’s breastplate was actually burning him a bit too. He waved to the unfamiliar crowd when Kaida introduced him, letting out a brief “Hey,” while he examined the group. He wasn’t in much of a mood to be around so much people--he just wanted to be with Kaida.
“I think we should help them out,” Donovan whispered to Kaida after everyone was introduced, looking for her approval. He knew how much she wanted to leave with him, and he wanted to just as much, but it didn’t seem right to break off just yet. “I mean, help guide them to Termina. And then we can go off on our own.” Donovan hated to become a part of Sephira’s group’s business, and they probably didn’t want his help anyways, but he still felt like he had yet to repay Sephira for her help. For all he knew, he could have been in that giant bird’s stomach if Sephira hadn’t helped.

Ea turned back to James. "No, you don't know my last name, and frankly I intend to keep it that way." She then studied the other group, silently grumbling as she saw more animals she'd have to deal with. "Don't know why these people keep these animals around. Next thing you know they could be eating you for their evening meal. It might just be me, but I don't feel comfortable keeping something like that around." She said it awfully quietly, and hoped that somebody hadn't heard it.
So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Tennor, armed with the items he had kept for so long, had been traveling for ages. He stopped, hearing voices carried by the breeze. He grabbed his dagger and peered into the distance.
(Hello, guys. Nice to see you again.)

"Well, I suppose the Gerudo were chasing you, and you have no way of knowing they left," Sephira said, knotting the ends of the bandage. "And Star and Midnight don't like these things so they wouldn't have thought to pull any out."[/color She stood and smiled at him. "I'm glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been."

Kaida grimaced, but nodded. "Yeah, they could use it. The horses, at any rate. That boy Sephira's coddling, and the boy would move faster on these." She patted Chadur's shoulder, then dismounted, groaning as her muscles complained. "Probably want to head out soon; this heat is giving me a headache." She rubbed her sweaty forehead.

Zarola glared at Elwood as she noticed him staring at her. [color=]"What?
          she snapped.
Midnight growled defensively. "Leave him alone."
"Calm down," Star told him, flicking her tail. She glanced at Ea as she caught the woman's words, but she ignored them in favor of keeping the peace. "She can't hurt him; no need to get riled up."

The panther sniffed. "As if I'd want to. A cub like that? There'd be no point."
Midnight's hackles rose. "Is there ever a point to fighting?"
"Of course there is," Zarola answered. "To get food, for one thing. You also have to fight to-"
"Enough, you three," Sephira scolded. "Argue about this some other time. Let's move out. Inga, are you and your companions are welcome to accompany us if you like." She addressed the Sheikah as she seemed to be paying more attention to the group than Donovan or Kaida were.

Tennor slowly moved closer, careful to stay in the shadows and out of site. He took a sip of water, knowing full well that he would have to get a refill sooner than later. He wondered who these people were, and whether or not they were friendly...
            he continued on.

"I would love to," Inga responded to Sephira. "Are you two coming?" She asked Donovan and Kaida, who seemed to be having their own conversation.
"Yup," Donovan answered, barely realizing what Inga was talking about. He turned to mount Chadur again, but didn't get on. "You wanna try riding in front this time?" He playfully asked Kaida. It seemed like that would be more comfortable since he was taller than her, and he figured it wouldn't be too wild of a ride if he had enough control over the horse from the back. But it would still probably be more interesting than if he was steering.
"Alright then," Inga said. Knowing how close she was to venturing into lands unknown to her gave her a funny feeling in the stomach. She didn't know if it came from excitement or uncertainty, or maybe both. She had hoped for this opportunity for a while and it was finally here. Now her only wishes were that the outside world wouldn't disappoint her. She had always known about rumors of everything outside of Hyrule being dangerous and uncivilized, but Donovan, Kaida and even Lyxa didn't make it look that way after all the time they had spent in Termina. "Anyone wanna hop on behind me?" Inga asked, gesturing to the space behind her for another passenger.

Tennor listened to this conversation from nearby. Something seemed... different about this. Something he'd never seen before. He turned again to the witless people in front of him, hoping he wouldn't be caught.
                An old memory caught him.
                The camp.
Some of them had been there too. Friends.

                  (Cuz why not)
Ea was overall tuned out of the ongoing conversation, instead surveying the dunes. She saw a... Figure. She eyed it. It seemed like a person. Whether hostile or not...
She took out her bow and an arrow, holding it on the string. She advanced towards the figure, silently, pulling back on the bow. She wondered if they would notice.

                    (Thanks BC)
Tennor saw her and didn't pretend to pay attention. Slowly, with his empty hand, he drew his old dagger. He hid it from view and pretended to concentrate on the group.
This one wasn't familiar to him. If need be, he'd have no problem killing this one.

                    • Ea didn't let up on the bow, keeping it near full draw. It felt like any farther and the bow would split. She thought she saw a slight movement in the figure. Her eye, trained by many a hunt, had grown accustomed to searching for small movements like that. But she was tired, and stressed. It could've been a trick of the mind. She left the group behind her, advancing, slowly, step by step.

Should I try to reason with him? See what he's here for? Or should I just wait and see what he does...?

(Just making sure this thread stays afloat. Personally, I'd think everyone else should get some posts in before DN and I go any farther.)
                      (Why did I put DK)

                        • James acknowledged Ea's comment with a silent nod. When Sephira was finished, he half-smiled and thanked her. He really was grateful, but it was kind of embarrassing having to go through that in front of all those people. He waited for Sephira to tell everyone to move. Now that she was back, he was no longer needed to direct the group. He decided to refuse the offer to ride on the horse. Even though throughout his life he'd learned to love the four-legged animals, he wasn't in the mood of riding behind someone. Besides, he could tell the girl's offer was not really directed at him. He began feeling an eerie presence nearby, and when Ea got on hostile mode (more than usual) his suspicions were confirmed. He turned to try and see who it was, but waited for Ea to identify him. After all, it had been her catch that there was someone there. He readied his weapons, just in case.
Elwood realized something he had done had upset the new animal. Although he couldn't understand its language, he was very good at reading animal behavior. He took a step back and apologized for upsetting Zarola, although he didn't quite know what he had done wrong.

                          • Tennor grinned, "It seems that I'm not a secret anymore, am I?" He stood and dropped his bow, "Nice to mettle y'all. And Sephita... Its been a while."
He looked around for reactions from them.

                            • (Yeah, I know, Deku. Unfortunately, it's been that way for nearly a year.)

Kaida shook her head firmly. Now that her feet were firmly on the ground, and it was clear this group would be walking, she was content to stay on the ground. "I'll stay down here, thank you. My thighs have had enough for one day." She rolled her neck and shoulders, loosening them. Yes, more than content to stay on the ground.

Sephira nodded in acknowledgement of Inga's offer, then knelt in front of Elwood. "You want to ride with her? It'll be even better than on Midnight." The wolf snorted, earning an amused glance from Sephira. She picked the Kokiri up and settled him in front of Inga. "Just hang onto this," she said, tapping the pommel, "and have fun." She patted his knee, then turned to James. "You, mister, are riding. I don't care if you're riding with someone or on your own, but getting off that leg." She jabbed him in the chest. "Even if I have to tie you in the saddle."

Star launched to her feetas she saw Ea's bow come up, flattening her ears and her teeth. She hadn't even noticed the figure approach, being so focused on Zarola. It annoyed her that she hadn't been paying attention.
Midnight, however, was even more so, and his reaction was even stronger. He ran at the figure, snarling. He slid to a stop, though, as he caught the man's scent. He wrinkled his nose, confused. He recognized it, but not well. He circled, still growling, as he tried to place the scent.

Sephira glanced up as she heard her name. She frowned for a minute, then her eyes flew wide. "Tennor?! What in Farore's forest are you doing here? Where on Din's earth have you been?"
