The skies were cloudy, but it wasn't going to rain. A few bugs were buzzing not too far from where she sat. The soft wind moved the grass to and fro, and Esmeralda closed her eyes to let it all sink in. She was lying on the ground, resting her head against the wall of the bridge with a book open on her lap. She had come here to meet with any female travelers that might want to join with her in her yet-to-be-started adventures. It had been three days since then, and none had come.
Eating nothing but soft rocks she had kept in her pack during all these time, the good weather was the only thing keeping her from tyrant mode. She couldn't believe in three days not a single adventurer had passed by. Not even those hot-headed males she knew existed all too well. It was in her knowledge that something bad had happened in Castle Town not too long ago, but was that really enough to cause this? She picked up her book where she left off and continued reading, hoping that someone, anyone, would come and talk with her soon.
