Elliot nodded his head, his lips pressed together tightly. He supposed it would be better if the two worked it out on their own. Anyway, James was a tough kid. He'd be alright. He turned back to Rose with a smile on his face. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Me and my silly worries, eh?" He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her in closer to him. "So, where would you like to start searching first, love? The northern section has the larger houses with lots of gardens and decorations surrounding it, and the southern section is closer to the markets and has smaller houses. East and west are your ordinary everyday houses. Take your pick. Whichever you want, I'll be sure to get it for you."

Sephira shook her head. "No. The fault it mine. You called me a nickname, and I shouldn't have reacted as I had. I need to lay him in the past and leave him there. I don't mind if you keep calling me Sephy." But it would take quite a bit of will power to keep her from reacting as she had. Elliot nodded his head with a bright look in his eyes. "Then a regular house it shall be for the lovely lady." His arm still wrapped around her waist, he led her towards the section of the village selling rows of houses. He stopped to admire the house at the end of the lane, his eye caught by the simplistic charm the quaint little house had. Sure, it looked kind of old and worn, but that was part of its allure. At least to him, anyway. He walked up to the house and peered in through the dusty window. There was already a little bit of furniture set up inside too, though it was far from anything fancy. He turned to Rose with an eager expression, his hands still pressed against the windowpane. "So? What do you think?"Comment

James smiled at the pets and at Sephira. He took a long look at her beautiful eyes, and was really inclined to lean in to her, and kiss her. However, he felt right now wasn't the right moment, so instead he said cheerfully, "So, we're here house-hunting, Elliot, Rose, and me I mean. Wanna join us?"Comment

Sephira laughed. "I'm good at hunting, but houses are out of my league." She stood and dusted her pants off. "I can help, though. If I'm going to be stopping by often, I had better make sure it's good for Star and Midnight." She winked at him, then turned to Midnight. "Track down Rose and Elliot, please?" "it's perfect" said rose smiling "we gotta go find James and-" that's when she saw midnight "hello midnight" she said knelling so she could pet him "did sephria and james send you, well maybe you could help, we have found a great house" rose pointed to the house "and we would like to get james's opinion before we do anything, so can you go get him please" she smiled at him as he ran back Towards sephira and James "thanks, your a good boy" rose said as midnight ran back to spehria.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

James smiled as Midnight left then came back wagging his tail, obviously having found them. He turned to Sephira, "So, shall we?" he said beginning to move in the direction Midnight was leading them. Soon, he smiled as Rose and Elliot came into view, standing in front of a great house.Comment

Sephira complimented Midnight on his superb tracking skills and followed him back to Elliot and Rose. She smiled at them, then turned to look the house over critically. It seemed nice enough, but they would have to get in to see if it was really worth it. She drew a small knife from her boot and jimmied the lock until she got it open. She grinned back to the others. Not usually one to break the rules, Elliot smiled nervously at Sephira as she swung open the door. "I really hope the proprietor isn't around right now to see this," he said weakly. Still, he had to admit that he was curious himself about the interior of the building. After taking a quick glance around them to make sure no one was watching, he quickly stepped inside and pulled the others along with him before shutting and locking the door again.Comment

James had to hold back a laugh at Elliot's nervous reaction, he was so innocent, James would make sure to change that soon. Anyways, James began looking around the entrance and whistled, it was looking like a great house. He walked a bit further in, "Wow guys, it looks amazing." He took a look up the stairs, but he couldn't see much from here. There were 3 key things he wanted in this house: An awesome bedroom from him (and one that wasn't very close to Elliot's and Rose's, he didn't feel the need for those noises that sometimes came from parent's rooms), and amazing kitchen (i mean who doesn't love food), and someplace where he could read and write, or just have quiet time in peace. He waited for the other's opinions.Comment

Elliot trailed up the stairs, admiring the smooth feel of the railing as he did so. Even though the place was obviously old, he liked how it was still sturdy and strong. That was, after all, the thing that mattered the most. Well, that, along with...
"Hey James, look!" Elliot called from above, pushing open a door on the far end of the upstairs floor. "This could be your room! It's pretty big and spacious and it already has a bed in it too. And a window! You could get a nice breeze in here." He moved to the opposite end of the floor. "And Rose and I can just sleep in here. Sounds good, huh?" He walked back down the stairs and into what appeared to be the kitchen, evident by the multiple cabinets and closet. It was smaller than the other rooms and was connected to the dining room so it didn't seem like there'd be much space to move around in there, but hey, "At least the place has a stove!" Elliot bent down to give the black pot belly stove a more thorough examination, swiping his finger across the outside. "Hmm. Kinda dusty and rusted. But we can certainly fix that with a washcloth and some fresh paint." He got up and barely had to turn to look at the small wooden table that was supposed to be where they ate. There were two of similar quality chairs tipped forward against the table. "Looks like I'll be standing while we eat for a while until I can buy us another chair," he chuckled. "Well, I rather like it. Sure it's not one of those big ol' fancy houses but I can definitely picture this place as home. Rose? What do you think? Since you'll be living here for a while and all..."Comment
