Zeb smirked. To him, it seemed as if Sephira was playing hard to get. Two can play at that game. Zeb thought as he walked up to Sephira and slowed down so he didn't walk ahead. "Just because you made it so clear you wanted me to come, I've decided to come along." Zeb said as they continued to walk down the street that....well, Zeb didn't know why they were going down this street, but he knew Sephira had a reason.

Sephira shot Zeb a glare. She had thought her voice had told him she didn't want him along. She sighed, since she couldn't think of a good way to tell him to shove off. She turned her focus instead on the path, after making sure to 'accidently' trode on Zeb's foot. The old lady said he was heading towards a restraunt. If she knew Star, the cheetah would have raided the waste bins outside. That girl could often find food, and was not against storing it up.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Zeb greatly flinched when Sephira stepped on his foot. The last thing you want to do is attack her, Zebulon. Zeb told himself as he tried to keep himself from getting revenge. "So....um.....where are we going?" Zeb asked. He didn't like to be led somewhere and not know where their destination was.Comment

Sephira glanced at him, then returned her focus to the road. "I'm searching for Star. That old lady said she had gone with James to a restraunt, so that's where I'm going." Zeb became confused, but kept walking. "Uh, James? Who is James?" Zeb asked. If he is her boyfriend, then he is in for a beating. Zeb thought as he waited for Sephira to reply.Comment

Sephira glanced at Zeb. There was a hostile edge to his voice, which told her that he thought of her as his. Maybe bringing him to James wasn't such a bad idea after all. It might finally get the boy to ask her out. "He's a close friend of mine. He saved my life once, and I promised him a date in trade. He still hasn't picked it up yet, though." (If you thought Zeb's eye was gonna twitch and he was going to be in a bad mood, then you're wrong! Trust me, just read the actual post.)
For a minute, Zeb's expression didn't change. But after that minute was up, a tiny smile appeared on his face. "Is he really that busy? If he isn't, I don't see why he hasn't already taken you out." Zeb simply replied, his expression becoming happier by the second. If Sephira falls in love with this "James", I'll just have to go with it. As long as she is happy, it doesn't matter.Comment

Sephira was a little surprised by the reaction. No anger means he's willing to let someone else have me. Which must mean he's just protective of me. With a slight nod of satisfaction, she returned her attention to the road. "Most of the reason is because we keep going seperate ways. Sephira glanced at Zeb, wondering what thought were going through his head. She turned back to the road and shrugged. "I guess." There had once been a time when she thought she had found her other half. They had been so perfect for each other too, so alike. Then he had to do that.
She shook her head to lose the thoughts, then focused on the road. Just in time, too, or she would have walked right by a restruant. She stopped and looked it over. Definatly something Star would steal food from if she could. "Are you sure this is the restruant? It could be one of the others around here, like that restruant up ahead, or the one past that!" Zeb exclaimed as Sephira examined the restruant.

In an alley not far from the restruant Sephira was looking at, a young Hylian male of about 27 years and a Hylian girl of about 13 years covered fully in black clothing(with the exception of their eyes) were watching Zebulon. "Are you sure he is the one, Jonah?" The girl asked. "I KNOW he is the one, Katherine. He looks too much like Uncle to not be the one." the one called Jonah replied. "Whatever you say, Jonah, but I have my doubts."Comment

Sephira cocked her head. "It's possible it was a different one. I don't know..." She straightened and spotted something. She moved over to check it out, then grinned back at Zeb. "Now I do. Star found a rabbit here. A plump rabbit too." She pointed to the bloody mess, then knelt back down to examain it fully, as well as any tracks near-by. After a few minutes, she straightened. "Okay, I know where they went." She turned and started to follow the trail.
She noticed movement out of the corner of her eye and glanced over. Two people dressed in black were watching from the shadows of an alley. She slowed her pace down until she was level with Zeb. In the alley, Jonah and Katherine watched as Sephira looked in their direction and said something to Zebulon. Upon seeing this, Jonah and Katherine exchanged looks and dissapeared from sight.

Zeb turned his head toward the alley only to find nobody there. "Oh ha ha ha, very funny, Sephira." Zebulon said as he looked away from the alley and focused his gaze forward.Comment
