    Sephira drank sparingly from the milk bottle, so that James could share if he wanted. He never reached for it, though, and she wondered why. It was difficult for her to get sick, her natural body temperture usually being too warm for any of the germs to take affect, although in this day and age she didn't know that.
    She glanced over at the young man when she heard him say something and noticed the trickle of red on his arm. She flushed as she realized it was because of her. She reached over to her pack and dug through it until she found the herbs she used for treating burns. She took James hand and held his arm rigid as she chewed the leaves and spat the juice onto his burns. She tightened her grip as she did so, knowing that the juice would sting at first.

      The note read as followed:

      "To my beloved, Ryli,

      I feel it's time that I head back into an adventure. I had a dream last night that showed Hyrule being engulfed into a terrible and bloody war. As a soldier, well former soldier, I still feel like I have an obligation to fulfill my oaths to the Royal Family. I am returning to Castle Town to ensure the safety of Hyrule. If you need me, I want you to return to my house. I will be by every night to sleep and eat.

      Kairu"
      'Hmm interesting. The only war that ever occurred in recent history was the Ganondorf Invasion,' he thought to himself. He looked at the calendar. 'That isn't until another week or so, if I remember correctly.' He sneaked out of the room and returned to the hall where Gerrard was, leaving Ryli sleeping peacefully in the room, not knowing someone broke in. "Come on, we're heading to Hyrule Castle. We are going to infiltrate it and find out what's going on. Apparently Kairu returned to the Castle because he had a dream of an impending war approaching. Which, sad to say, will happen."

        James had been about to wave Sephira off when she grabbed his arm. He frowned before he realized what she was going to do. As she chewed the leaves he began, "Sephira, I really don't think tha-" Then he felt the juice hit his arm and he clenched his teeth tightly. His first reflez was too pull his arm away, but she was holding it too tightly to do so. After a moment though, he felt some kind of relief on his arm as the sting subsided. He realized Sephira had been right to do what she did. He closed his eyes, waiting for her to let him go now that he was no longer trying to pull away.

          Sephira held on to him, making certain he wouldn't pull away until she was certain the juices had worked their way in. When she was confident they had, she let go and smiled at him. "No, I don't keep burn herbs in my pack because I make a habit of burning people I'm with," she said teasingly. She patted his hand, then glanced out the window. She wondered if that boy had come back yet, or if he and Gerrard were still out eating.

            Gerrard didn't have a good feeling when he heard of a war. He did not like the feeling of a full out war, no matter his confidence in his abilities. Instead of beiing nosy and asking a million questions he simply found his things and walked up to Leo. "Ready to go?"

              "Yes, the sooner the better. Let's go," he said taking lead. He walked down the hall. His mind momentarily lapsing back to the day he had obtained his first scar from 'them'. Kairu came home after a leave of absence and his wife began to yell and complain. He pulled a sword out on her and held it to her throat out of pure aggression. It was the first time anger was ever shown in the household.

                James chuckled a little then inspected his arm. After confirming that the injury was no longer aching, he dismissed the worry from his eyes and looked out the window, completely forgetting what he had been about to tell Sephira before he noticed the burns. Sifting through his memories, we decided to replay one of the night in which Rose disappeared. It had been awful. He paused when the memory got to the part when he and Elliot had started arguing viciously. He didn’t remember such a thing had happened until he saw it again, and he felt ashamed when he remembered. He let the memory keep going until it got to the part after him and Elliot had made amends. He sighed, knowing they should’ve never had that argument to begin with. Thinking about Elliot suddenly made him a little worried. He hadn’t seen him since he stormed after Rose, and knowing Elliot he knew the guy wouldn’t have stayed away from the house without telling James unless something had come up, after all he had mentioned coming back for dinner the day before. He really hoped nothing bad had happened to him. Thinking about this, he unconsciously mumbled to no one in particular, “Elliot...where are you?..”

                  Gerrard, once he had gathered all of his things up, started walking toward the door; following Leo the whole way. He looked around, taking notice of the many people that were now flowing into the tavern. Obviously this time of the day was pretty good for the tavern as it was packed full and reeked of good and bad smells. He walked out of the tavern and followed Leo to Hyrule Castle Town.

                    Sephira smiled gently at JAmes and patted his hand. "If you like, I can have Star try to track him. Midnight is with them, so it should make it much easier to find them." The cheetah looked up from her washing as she heard her name, then resumed licking blood from her paw.

                      Amaterasu looked up nervously at James. While everybody else was utalking and eating Amaterasu had zoned herself out, leaning against a far wall and thiking about the holes Gerrard that punched in the wall. "You never told me what happened to Rose and Elliot," she said quietly, her eyes finding the ground. "When I ran off I headed to Death Mountain and Tennor followed me." She added before James that a chance to was her where she went.

                        James looked at Sephira, confused for a moment as to what she was talking about. Then he realized he must have spoken his thoughts aloud. He was about to tell her how it was OK, and that there was no need for that, when he heard Ammy talk. He stiffened a little at the sound of her voice and looked at her. He considered answering her with a sarcastic comment or whatnot, but something inside of him told him the regret in her voice was honest. He looked out the window again. "After you left, Rose and Elliot...argued. She ended up running away. He was shocked for a moment, but I talked to him until he decided to go after her. He ran out with a quick "I'll be back by dinner" and I didn't see him again after that," he said. After a deep breath he added, "That was yesterday afternoon. I don't know if they're OK." The last few words came out bitterly, but not towards her.

                          Amaterasu still didn't look at James. "If they dont come back but tonight should we look for them? If you want I can help fix the holes Gerrard punched in the wall..." she offered.

                            Sephira patted JAmes ' hand. "They're okay," she whspers again. "Midnight's with Elliot, and another man is protecting Rose. I don't about Joshua, but I know Rose will protect herself very well. Midnight will keep Elliot alive. I'd know if he died." She wasn't sure if she actually would, but she was confident in the wolf's ability.

                              James smiled as Sephira tried to reassure him. It was only half a smile, with half his attention not having even heard what she said. He thought of what Ammy said, about looking for them. He was sure Sephira was right...at least he wanted to believe it. He looked at the holes in the wall, something telling him there was no point. "Nah," he told Ammy after a second, "When Elliot gets back he can do that, considering it his punishment I am." He smiled at her, something he hadn't thought he would ever do towards Ammy, then added, "I don't think a search will be necessary. He'll get back when he does...I'll just have to wait." He added something else after that, but it was so low and came out in mumbles that it wasn't comprehensible.
