Kainis blinked. He honestly couldn't remember the last time he'd been in a situation like this. He frantically racked his brain for a response, instead awkwardly lying there speechless. He then came up with what he saw as an awkward and cheesy answer. "Don't worry Ava. I think that I'm done making reckless decisions for a while now."So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Ava smiled weakly. "You goofball." She bit her lip, the smile fading as she remembered what she had done. "What's wrong with me, Kainis? I.... I'm not sure I know who I am anymore.... I feel like I'm becoming something horrible......"Comment

Kainis was in an incredibly awkward situation. He honestly hadn't expected this. "Ava, you're just the person you were," he called upon his memory. "About 20 hours ago. You're just... reacting to the, um, events, that happened." He propped himself up on one elbow, and grunted. "Man... this really hurts. God, why am I here? Meldos obviously came for me. They always finish a job, and I got away... I need to leave, Ava. Twice already I've attracted these bandits to your farm. I know exactly what you're going through. I think. You're not especially specific on the topic." He felt kind of happy, in a different way, being alone with Ava like this, but also kind of strange. After pacing around for several minutes, Rin reached over the old, wood fence and grabbed the cloak. careful not to break it, he lossened it and it easily freed. slinging it over his shoulder, he began to jog back to where the others were. "Sooooo..." he said when he'd arrivedComment
