Ryli kept her eyes on the guards and maintained a fighting stance on the ***** of her feet in the center of the ice ring in case the guards attacked. Flames engulfed her hands, ready to be shot off the instant one of them made a wrong move. "Are you two alright?" she said to Kairu and the servant without taking her eyes off the guards surrounding her.

Kairu again shook off the throw to the ground and looked up at Ryli, "Ryli! Stop! You're only making it worse! Just let them take you and we can figure it out from there, alright? I'll negotiate with the Baron for your release with Malina. Please... just surrender..."
MEANWHILE
Adriel turned and allowed Malina to enter. "I suppose you're here to yell at me to release the Gerudo?" Adriel closed the ledger and gave Malina his undivided attention.sigpic

Malina strode in and planted her palms on the table. "Dad, she wasn't doing anything wrong. She's Kairu's girlfriend and she was worried about him. And who wouldn't be after what happened? Perhaps she acted a little rashly in her worry, but she has every right to be." She glared up at him. Malina frowned. "I know she's Ganondorf's daughter. She up and said it a bit ago. But what does that have to do with anything? Who is Ganondorf, and why would he send a spy in here?" "Ganondorf is the King of Thieves, or better known as the King of the Gerudo. Many people don't trust him or the Gerudo. I am one of those people. At last intel check, he was forging an alliance with King Hyrule, but I have my suspicions. It's only a matter of time until the Gerudo attack Castle Town. As for sending a spy, it's the same reason I have spies all over. To keep a check on your potential enemies as well as allies. Malina, you need to start paying attention to the politics. One day, I'm not going to be alive and the throne will be left up to you. You need to be ready for it. You know as much as well as I do, time stops for no one."sigpic

Malina sighed. "Daddy, I do pay attention to politics. Just here, though. I know the main leaders of each of the different countries, and I know how each country stands with each other. But I don't get any further in depth than that because I don't need to. If you really want me to, I will try to take a greater interest in it. In fact," she added, brightening, "why not leave Ryli alone? If I can become friends with her, maybe I can find out if she really is a spy, or get information from her for you." "No, I don't want you near her. Not until we've determined whether or not she's a spy. She's going to be locked up in the dungeons with no access to anyone unless I'm with them. Don't bother trying to persuade the guards otherwise, I've already made it clear to them that unless I'm personally with them, no one enters or exits. If she doesn't provide anything useful in three days, I'm going to have her executed."sigpic

Ryli shot a glare at Kairu, then shook her head and sighed. She blasted the fire from her hands straight down at the ground, melting the ice around her feet. Surrendering killed her because she knew she could have taken them and been able to escape with Kairu, but then she wouldn't have had access to the remedy to his memory loss. "I surrender," she said through gritted teeth, putting her hands behind her head, showing that she would no longer be a problem. I can't believe Kairu would give up that easy... she thought to herself.Comment

The guards siezed Ryli and subdued her. They cuffed her to prevent further destruction. Kairu got up and got close to her ear and whispered to her, "Just trust me on this, ok?"sigpic

Ryli took deep breaths to steady herself. She didn't know if she could trust Kairu right now. He couldn't remember anything, so who knew if he was in his right mind? Plus, she trusted him to stay faithful, but found him with another girl.Comment

The guards pulled Ryli in the direction they wanted her to go. They eventually found the cell used for solitary confinement. They put her into the cell, locked the iron barred door, and then walked out and locked the room's door. Two guards now standing outside to stay watch and make sure she is held as the criminal they thought she was.sigpic
