(Thread re-opened so we can finish up one little thing...)
Another day in Lynna City. That's how Drake Lomeli saw it. Just another day of wandering, wondering where his brother and his father went. Nothing important or out of the ordinary. As Drake walked (looking at the ground), he heard something and looked up. Three horses and three people speed off in the distance. Drake watched them go until they were out of sight, and then directed his vision to where they came from. Okay, so maybe I was basically raised in another world, but I don't think it's right for a man and two women out of uniform to go racing out of the palace. Drake thought as he decided what he should do next. He resolved that he should go to the palace and ask if the Baron had any association with the group. Any other person would've just shrugged it off, so maybe it was a good thing that Drake was doing this.
As he got closer to the palace, he eyed a guard and started to talk to him. "Hey! You! Can I speak with the Baron?" The guard turned around and approached Drake in a very frustrated manner. When he was close enough, the guard picked Drake up by his shirt and let out his frustration. "What do you WANT, kid!?!? IS IT ANYTHING IMPORTANT!?" The guard yelled at Drake. For a moment, Drake was silent, mainly because he didn't know why the guard was so mad. After a few seconds, Drake started to speak. "I just wanted to know if the Baron had any association with a group that just left from here on horseback!"Last edited by Z64; 01-19-2013, 12:34 AM.

The guard dropped Drake and moved aside. Drake froze for half of a second, trying to recognize who it was, but gave up. "Well, I thought maybe....I could go after them? I really just came here to see if these people possessed any sort of problem and if I could help...even though there are more qualified people in the area." Drake made eye contact with both the Baron and the guard, and decided he should probably leave. "Should I go, or....?" Drake asked as he backed up.

Adriel began to think. Drake did have a sound suggestion, offering for help.
Adriel: "The Princess has run off with two spies of Hyrule. One being a Hylian soldier and the other a Gerudo. Since you are vvolunteering, I want you to find and rescue her. I would, under normal circumstances, allow you to use the Palace for anything you need, but dudue to the lalatest infiltration aamd security breaches, I must deny you that right. If you wish, I can have a guard fetch you anything you may need. As for your reward, I will grant you the right to stay in the Palace as my daughter's husband if you return her safely and kill the two captors and bring their heads to me for proof." Any questions?"sigpic

Drake, stopped, and thought about it for a little. His memory was failing him on what a husband, but it sounded like a nice thing. He wasn't too sure about the killing either. Oh well, I'll just think of something. Drake decided. "Okay, I accept. All I need is a horse. And maybe some food."

Adriel whistled to a guard and that guard walked over.
: Adriel: "Get this man horses and supplies for travelling."
The guard returned with a sword, a large wallet of rupees, food, camping supplies and a horse with aenough room for Drake to mount the beast.sigpic

Drake managed the supplies so that they would be ready for travel, then he mounted the horse. He looked back in the direction of his farm and Lynna City. I'm leaving all I've ever known behind, just to be the 'husband' of a princess that I've never met.....oh well. I can't say no now. Drake looked back at the guard and the Baron. "I'll return as soon as possible. Farewell!" Drake said before having his horse sprint off in the direction that the group left in.

Adriel returned to the Palace to resume managing the Army of Labrynna. Although his judgement was heavily compromised, he kept himself secluded for weeks. He didn't want anyone to know he was vulnerable, and now, weak. He managed to keep structure in his military and society, but things were slowly wearing down. Eventually, it would give way and everything Adriel ever worked towards would come crashing down. The only chance Adriel had would be some other person or force salvaging the work of Baron Adriel Cyne the Scarred of Labrynna.sigpic
