Ah, so that's what her name was, Brianna thought, looking at the young woman. She wondered why Sephira hadn't introduced herself before. Then again, she had a lot of questions after their last meeting. For instance, where was Maxwell, and why was she here with a completely different group? Brianna supposed it wasn't really any of her business, but she was still rather curious.

Sephira frowned at Luther's comment. Sins against Nayru? What on Din's fiery earth was he talking about? She didn't like the grin that accompanied it either, nor the subtle changes in mannerism as he'd spoken. She snorted, accidentally allowing a few flames to escape, and decided it was unimportant. "You are welcome to join us, since we're all strangers here. Safety in numbers, after all." She smiled, attempting to make it a friendly one, then moved down the beach to Elwood, feeling out of sorts and deciding to leave it to James to socialize with these new people.

Ethical Luther didn't like the situation. Not only was the person who appeared to be the leader of the group tainted, but Luther was the odd one out. He was the one none of them had met before. Surely, they wouldn't be trusting of him as they would of each other. He didn't have a good social position with this group right off the bat, but they were strangers to the land like him. If he didn't join them, he'd surely
Meanwhile, the fraudulent Luther watched as Sephira walked away, and continued to grin.
"The sinner wallks because they recognize their guilt. Typical."
The kindhearted Luther quickly regained control, and looked at James.
"Forgive me if I've said anything strange within the last few moments." Luther said, losing the grin that had been present on his face. "I have a little bit of a...condition. Anyways, I would appreciate it greatly if you let me join this little group of yours, at least until I become familiar with the land. I promise you my...condition, won't be a problem.

James watched Sephira walk away and understood she didn't feel like dealing with the newcomers. It didn't surprise him since he'd seen before she didn't always have the easiest time with new people. That on top of the Luther guy acting strange was enough for her not to feel comfortable or in the mood of talking with them. He turned to Luther when he spoke. The "condition" he mentioned seemed very strange, and he wanted to press him further about it but decided to leave it to a later moment. He nodded at the man. "Like Sephira said, you're welcome to join us as long as you need to get accustomed to this place. All of you," he added, looking at the others. "We only just got here, so we were going to devise a plan on where to head first. We wanted to explore the town for a while, gather up any supplies that dwindled during our voyage, then head out into the country. If you have any other ideas for a plan, I'm all ears. We also need to get the gist of how the people of this place act and get along with strangers and with each other. Don't want to start a fight right off the bat, after all."

Elwood looked up from his very amateurish looking sand castle as Sephira approached. He smiled at her, then looked back down. "I was trying to make the big building we could see from the camp in Termina. You know the one with the big round thing on top that moved? But I just can't seem to get it right," he frowned as he tried to observe his creation (which looked nothing like Clock Tower) from a different angle.

Briana frowned at Luther wondering what he was accusing Sephira of. The pair had seemed at odds since meeting. Had they met before? Or rather, his 'condition' and Sephira. She wondered what could have happened, if that was the case. The young woman had seemed rather laid back when they'd met before.
Regardless, it wouldn't do any good pondering it. Instead, she turned her thoughts to their present predicament, how the people here would respond to foreigners. She and Daniel had been recognized as such shortly after appearing in Termina, and that country was a neighbor to their homeland. This place was not, and goddesses knew how far from Hyrule. While they might not be identified as Hylians, they'd likely be noticed as strangers immediatly. How would they be able to explore Logata without being detected?
          Or perhaps detection didn't matter.
"I could go into the town for supplies," she offered. "I am a merchant, perhaps I can peddle some wares and learn about the people, while I'm at it." No doubt she'd be able to find a scholar interested in some of the books she'd picked up in Termina.

Sephira sat on the sand next to Elwood, frowning thoughtfully at his sand pile. She hadn't played with sand before, but she'd played with dirt plenty times in her youth. From what she remembered, it tended to be easier to mold when wet. Moving closer to the water, she gathered some of the moist sand and brought it back to Elwood. "Let's see if this helps," she said, beginning to mold the sand around his attempt.

James nodded, listening to Briana. "That might be a good idea," he started, then hesitated. "However...we might want to be careful. For all we know, the people here might be aggressive on foreigners. We should try to scope them out a little before we jump into their midst. What do you guys think?" he added, looking at the others. Daniel nodded in response.
"Yeah, but then again, we're easily recognizable. Unless we want to go in full stealth mode and make sure no one sees us, people will know that we're not from around here." After some thought, he added in a mumble, "Hm, perhaps hiding at first might not be such a bad idea..."

Elwood watched with awe as Sephira changed the sand. He hadn't thought about using sand with different consistency, but it seemed to be the right idea. "Wow, I think it's working!" he yelled excitedly, immediately trying to help.

"It might not last long, remaining unknown," Briana pointed out. "We don't know their customs or habits. I mean, Daniel and I were recognized in Termina rather quickly as foreigners. But if we come in showing ourselves as strangers, people who don't know the way of the land, we might get some sympathy." She patted her satchel. "I could claim to be a merchant whose been away for awhile, exploring some distance and dark corners of the country searching for rare and unique items. Books from another country might sell well enough to get us money we need for supplies, and I could pass myself off well enough to get some helpful information." She hesitated, then added, "Although, I probably shouldn't go alone, in case I don't do a well enough job, or someone decides my wares are too valuable to be left in the hands of a woman." She could only remember all too well the times someone had tried to rob her back in Hyrule, and only the soldiers there had kept her safe. She might not have any such assurances here.

Luther listened to the conversation intently, not wanting to seem more antagonistic as to not be at odds with the people who were strangers in the land like he was. The sinner bothered him, but now was not the time to be concerned about her. Luther did not like the initial ideas being thrown around, but found the suggestion offered by the girl from the pair he first encountered agreeable.
"I agree. If we do not believe in the good spirit of the natives of this land, they will treat us in a similar manner. Attempting to remain unknown will only make us more suspicious, and possibly make them more hostile towards us."
Luther then remembered that he lacked experience in this situation, and that the people surrounding more than likely had more exposure to the outside world.
"I will admit, I am not a frequent traveler, but that is my opinion on the matter anyhow."

James nodded as he listened to both of them. What they said made sense, and he had known from the start that even if they did decide to go in with stealth it could only last so long. His only worry was that people would begin questioning them about where they came from and how they'd gotten here. But then again, if the place they had landed in was large enough, there was always a chance that the townspeople weren't familiar with every other group of people in the land. They might not even be taken as foreigners from another, distant country. Just the usual, peculiar travellers from another town or city. "Alright, that sounds like a better plan. Hopefully the people won't take aggressively to us and our pass through the town will be simple and quiet," he agreed.

Daniel, hearing the plan, immediately proposed he joined Briana. "I'd like to head into the town as well. There's so much to see here, I would hate to miss any of it." He left out the fact that he still didn't feel that comfortable around the other people, especially since they had a lot more weapons than he did. James shrugged. "I think that'd be okay. Still, someone else should go as well. With all due respect, you two look like the least prepared for a fight, so it'd be better to get another to come with you."

Briana smiled at Daniel and hooked her arm through his. "We should be okay," she told James. "We were fine in Termina, after all. The only ones we might have had trouble from were Maxwell and Sephira, and they both were perfectly civil with us. Seric might have been a bit off, but he didn't seem dangerous at all."

Sephira leaned back on her heels and frowned thoughtfully at her and Elwood's sand sculpture. "I'm think that's a good bit better, but we'll need more wet sand. And we should make the whole town, otherwise the tower will be lonely."

Gazing upon the land, Nemesis saw a multitude of places where he could use his influence to create massive chaos. Every king, idol, warrior, diplomat and peasant were simply toys to the wielder of the massive power that had previously resided inside of Majora's Mask. Each person was nothing more than a piece on the board that could be moved in a variety of ways that would serve whatever cause Nemesis desired. The only downside was that it wouldn't be very easy to move a piece back to its original position and try a different path. Not to mention the possibility that he started moving too many pieces, someone might figure it out and start sticking their nose in places it didn't belong. But the odds were ridiculously against something like that happening.

After some time of considering his options, Nemesis decided to begin in a certain spot of Falconmill, Logata. Of course, there are other areas Nemesis began to experiment with his power in, but those are tales for a different time and place. This area that Nemesis had his eye on had a heavy concentration on multiple powerful pieces that he was interested in. More specifically, there were three individuals that caught Nemesis's attention immediately. Sephira Phoenix, who believed she was alone and was afraid of burning everything she loved. Jameson Borgon, who sat almost too close to the fire of the phoenix to fill the void in his heart created by the loss of a dear friend. And Luther Clinton, the double-sided warrior with the judgement of the goddesses themselves and a hunger for justice. Nemesis planned to work them all like puppets.

For a moment, Nemesis considered pitting them against each other right away. Seeing as the fight would likely come to include everyone around them, it would get rid of multiple potential threats, and assuming there were no survivors, it would also make quite the opening statement. Nemesis eventually decided that it would be too rash to move the pieces in that way in the long term, and instead went with his other idea.

Behind Sephira, Nemesis took the form of her former lover, as he looked on the day he died. Of course, he took the necessary precautions so that he could only be seen by her, then prepared a small smile.
"Hey, Sephy." Nemesis said, speaking in Vincent's voice. "Guess who's in your head?"

Meanwhile, Nemesis pondered how to approach James. Doing the same jig in the same place at the same time didn't seem too fun, so he decided to something a little different. Nemesis entered James' mind, and disguised himself as a part of the boy's consciousness. Now, it was time to play.
Why am I trusting these people? Elliot wouldn't have liked them. Coming here is starting to feel like a really bad idea...what if Elwood tries to kill someone again? He's next to Sephira right now.

For Luther, Nemesis decided similarity wasn't boring in moderation, so he decided to do what he did with James, but without the theatrics. Nemesis entered Luther's mind, but did not disguise himself.

Sephira tensed as she heard his voice, as if even the sound caused her pain. She glanced up at Elwood, who was still playing in the sand, then turned to glare up at the mirage. "I know you're in my head," she growled, although she kept her voice low. "What are you doing here? Why can't you just stay in Hyrule, like you're supposed to? Why bother following me all this way?"

James smiled at Briana and Daniel, noticing her arm hooking in his. He nodded, "Alright, if you two feel confident enough in going on your own that's up to you. Though, I'd still prefer if we got more people looking for supplies. It'll be faster, and we can get to know more of the people that way." As he said this he began thinking. It was true that Elliot was, in general, quite amicable to others. Yet, after being betrayed by what appeared to be a kind soul, Elwood, he might be more reserved. Trusting this people with no real reason to... it was dangerous. James knew they didn't have much choice. But he hesitated now, biting his bottom lip.

He looked over to Sephira and Elwood playing in the sand and felt his chest clutch. If something happened to her...no, he couldn't afford to think of that now. Besides, if Elwood was going to go berserk and kill her, he would've done it on the trip to the new country. They were fine for now. Still, as he waited to hear what the others said, he couldn't help but be distracted by the other two on the beach.

Gerrard had never been of much use.

Even while he was thieving he was living off of others, and he wasn't near the best at that. Too many times being caught, too many whippings with him lashed to a wooden pole as he screamed for the gods. He belonged with Jackie, surely, but that was about it. This new land seemed as harsh as the other so he sat back and watched. His eyes were carefully keened as things happened, people were talked to, and plans were discussed. He did not exactly want to join, thinking they could do well without his advice. His advice was worth nothing, but his life was worth anything. Rather risk being stupid than dying.

He turned and looked at Jacky, with a slight raise of the eyebrow.

"Is this new world anything like you expected?"
