Elgin watched as they left and sighed. I hope Taurean hasn't gone to Smokehead and started to hurt people. He then started moving towards a pile of hay, where he decided he would lie down on. After struggling alot, Elgin got on the hay and laid down, satisfied he hadn't needed help. "So I guess the only thing we can do now is wait till I feel better." Elgin said.

Chandra's eye followed Eos as she rode away. "Good luck, Eos," she whispered. Then she turned to Elgin."Are you sure you want to sleep here? I can help you inside, to a more comfortable bed. It might also be warmer." It was fairly nice right now, but when the sun set, it usually got chilly pretty quickly, especially in the desert where she was used to.
ShadowJet
Elgin thought about it for a minute. "Yeah, sure, it would be nice move inside." Elgin said, getting up and limping slowy towards the castle. Gotta play it real tough right about now. Elgin thought as he resisted the feeling to ask Chandra for help.
HyrulianBlackcat
Chandra rolled her eyes and moved to support to Goron. "Don't you dare play tough for me," she whispered in his ear-hole. She kicked open the front door and started to guide him to the inner rooms, where she was certain there would be suitable beds for him.
ShadowJet
"Okay, fine, fine, I'll let you help me." Elgin said, instantly deciding that arguing would get them no where. I think its safe for me to think that this will be interesting.
HyrulianBlackcat
Chandra was careful as she helped support Elgin. He was pretty heavy, but she could take it. After all, she was pretty strong. She was quick to find a room with a sturdy bed for him. She guessed from the lavish decorations that this was where the Goron ambassador slept when he came up. She shrugged to herself, it didn't matter who slept here, as long as no one did now. She guided Elgin to the bed and helped him get in. She then offered to tuck him in.
ShadowJet
"I can do it myself, but thanks for asking." Elgin said as he tucked himself in. Elgin closed his eyes, wanting to get a break from everything. The last few days had been tough on Elgin. I need to rest more than I thought...Taurean hits harder than I remember.....
HyrulianBlackcat
Chandra drew the curtains, then left the room, closing the door gently behind her. She wandered around, trying to find the kitchen. It had been awhile since she had some decent food. She doubted anyone would be there to cook, but she could cook well enough. At least, the food was edible. She would also see if she could find some semi-decent rocks for Elgin, he'd be hungry too. She wondered if hot rocks tasted any better than cool ones.
ShadowJet
Elgin eventually fell asleep, but he didn't get the break he wanted. Instead, he started having a weird dream...
In his dream, Elgin was running away from Taurean, who looked really mad. Elgin looked behind himself, and saw that Taurean was gaining on him. Elgin turned back around and started rolling in an attempt to get farther away from Taurean, who had also started rolling. The two rolled side by side, determined to reach Ironlynne first. But unlike how it actually went in real life, Taurean beat Elgin and told their mother that Elgin had killed their father. Elgin's mother became furious and shouted at Elgin. No, no no! This is all wrong! I was supposed to get to Ironlynne first! Elgin complained as he watched a twisted version of Reality unfold. Elgin watched as the alternate Elgin faced off with a Goron outcast called who called himself Slicemetal, even though his real name was Joseph. Elgin remembered that the elder had made Taurean fight Slicemetal when Elgin told his mother that Taurean killed their dad. Alternate Elgin lost the fight, and was forced to leave Smokehead. I can't believe this! Elgin thought as he watched his counterpart go down Smokehead. He watched as his counterpart became everything he wasn't untill the day when Alternate Elgin heard drums and people screaming in Logata City. Alternate Elgin came out from the alley he was in and saw Alternate Taurean, the new leader of the Gorons, leading a charge towards the castle. The Gorons were taking no prisoners and didn't care for the troops left behind. Alternate Taurean spotted Alternate Elgin and ordered his elite soldiers to attack him.
"No!" Elgin yelled, waking up. He looked around and remember that was only a dream and relaxed. I doubt I can go to sleep after that dream.

Chandra came back in the room with a bucket half-full of rocks, which she placed on a low table in the main room, and a bowl of hot soup. She slurped it down as quickly as she could, paritly because she was hungry, but mostly because she knew how bad her own cooking was. She sat crossed-legged on a stool near the door and drew her sword. She laid the naked blade across her knees, ready for use if she needed it.
She was just starting to doze off when she heard Elgin shout. Grabbing her sword, she ran into the bedroom. A quick glance around told her nothing was out of place. She sheathed her sword and approached Elgin. "Are you okay?" she asked tenderly. "What happened? Bad dream?"
ShadowJet
"Yeah, I had a really bad dream." Elgin told Chandra. Elgin went on to explain his dream and how it was so much different than reality. After some time, Elgin realized he wasn't even talking about his dream. In fact, he had started rambling about how his father would've dealt with Taurean if he was still alive. "Oh...sorry about that. I didn't mean to get off topic." Elgin aplogized. I really need to stop myself before I do stuff like that.
HyrulianBlackcat
Chandra listened throughout the whole tirade, keeping her expression schooled to neutral even though she was horrified. How could such a sweet Goron have such a cruel brother? She gently laid a hand on his shoulder. "Don't apologize. You should always talk if you feel you have to, rather than trying to deal with it on your own. My ears are always open if you need them, though I'm not sure how much help I'll be." She started rubbing his shoulder as she spoke.
ShadowJet
Elgin desperately wanted to tell Chandra how he felt about her. He really did. But he just couldn't make himself say it in front of her. "Thanks, Chandra. That means alot to me." Elgin told her.
HyrulianBlackcat
She smiled at him and kissed his forehead. "Will you be able to go back to sleep? I can stay in here with you, if you want." She was willing to snuggle up with him in bed, if she felt it would work. But if he rolled over in his sleep, she'd be crushed to death. So she'd just have to settle with pulling a pallet in or a chair or something. But if he wanted her to stay in the room, by the sands, she would stay.
ShadowJet
"I don't think I'll be able to go to sleep." Elgin told Chandra. Elgin still couldn't bring himself to tell Chandra how he felt. Then he realized something that made him want to cry, but he hid his emotions. She's a Gerudo, and I'm a Goron. It would never work out.
HyrulianBlackcat
Chandra looked at Elgin with compassion, and something deeper. She didn't understand what the feeling was, but she knew that she liked it. She gave herself a shake, whatever it was could wait. "Do you want something to eat? I found several rocks, and many of them were fairly soft, I think. More so than desert ones, at any rate. Or we can just go for a stroll around the castle, see if we can help clean up the debris.Whatever you feel like doing."
ShadowJet
It wasn't a tough decision for Elgin. I'm not that hungry, so I guess I'll walk around the castle with Chandra. "I think we should go and clean up the castle. It would save Shak from hiring people to come and clean the castle.." Elgin said getting up and walking out of the room. After a while he realized Chandra was not behind him and went back to the room. "Are you going to come?" Elgin asked her.
HyrulianBlackcat
Chandra shook herself. "Yeah, I'm coming. Sorry about that." She followed Elgin out. She looked around. "Probably the worst place would be where those people cut there way in. I saw several bodies being carried out, and there was a lot of blood." Chandra shuddered. She did NOT like blood, even when it was cold and dry.
ShadowJet
Elgin could tell that something was wrong and became very concerned. "Something wrong?" Elgin asked her. Whatever it is, I'll comfort her. Elgin told himself. If he couldn't bring himself to tell her how he felt about her, he could at least comfort her about whatever was on her mind.
HyrulianBlackcat
Chandra looked into Elgin's eyes. "Blood. I don't like it. I don't like the taste, I don't like the sight, I don't like the feel. I don't care if it came from a friend, an enemy, or a stranger. I don't like blood." She set her shoulders. "But there's no avoiding it in my profession."
ShadowJet
"Hey, everyone doesn't like something. What you don't like just happens to be blood. And I don't see why anyone would disrespect that." Elgin told Chandra. He desperately hoped what he said helped at least a little bit. And if that turns out to be the worst thing I could've said to comfort her, I'll never forgive myself.
ShadowJet
