"You look very handsome, my King," Eos said playfully as she walked up to Shak when he came out and hugged him. Stepping back quickly, Eos decided it was time to get down to business. "Now, we need to think about organizing your body guards. I'm an archer, as you know, and Endin seems good with his throwing knives, so between the two of us, we have ranged protection pretty much covered, at least for now. Elgin seems skilled at close combat, as is my sister. Can you fight as well?" Eos hoped she wasn't overwhelming the new king, but she knew this had to be sorted out eventually if he was to be kept safe.

Shak let out a smirk. "Of course I can fight," Shak said as he drew his blade. He wiped his hand over the edge, admiring its shine. "As you can see, I'm a close range, I suppose I can have you and Endin up in the towers, and Chandra, Elgin, and me down, taking care of things hand to hand, and we also have the Logata army. I'm sure it would be at least some help." Shak remarked. "They arn't the best, but we will need all the help we can get."

"Uh-uh, I'm staying with you. Endin and I are your PERSONAL long-ranged fighters. Your archers can handle being in the towers. Someone needs to be close by for your safety, and if you have some long-ranged fighters like Endin and I, you and the other close-range fighters will be safe and at a lower risk for injury. I will personally train the Logata archers to make sure that they are good enough," Eos said. She then remembered she was speaking to the king of Logata, and hastilly added, "If that is all alright with you, your Highness," while bowing respectfully.

Shak shrugged. "Fine by me, you and Endin can be with us at the ground." When Eos asked to train the Castle archers, "I don't see why not, they would really need some training." Shak responded.

"I'll begin their training first thing in the morning then, just after sunrise. Is there any way we could get that message to them? They are going to need a good night's sleep before I get ahold of them. Since we don't know how much time we have until an attack, we are going to have some pretty intense training sessions," Eos said. She sighed. It's beginning to feel like home already. Back to training archers and running drills, just like I'd be doing in the desert, she thought to herself.

Aromon Stepped through the gates into the castle "I am Aromon Jake, I wish to join the new king in the war." He said quickly to a guard "Where is the King? I wish to talk to him properly."

Shak nodded silently. "I can gather some of the Elite Archers, and tell them to spread the word." Shak awnsered. "Be sure it's not too intense, If they get to tired, we will have no Archers to fight." Shak added. "But the question is how to gather the Elites."

(Time lapse to Eos training the archers)

"Ready! Aim! Fire!" Eos yelled, dropping her arms as the signal for the Elite archers to release their arrows. She watched the arrows fly through the air and hit the center of each target. A few days ago they could barely even hit the target, let alone the center. "Good job all of you," she said, turning and smiling at them. "Your hard work really has paid off. Nobody will get through these walls with you all on guard! You have the rest of the day off."

At that announcement, the archers cheered. They had had a very hard few days, with training from sun up to sun down. It was barely even noon, so this was a real reward. "Please pass the techniques you have learned to the less-experienced archers. Thank you all very much for being such great students."

After a few moments, the archers had left to go about their business, leaving Eos alone in the training grounds. She pulled her own bow from its spot on her back and fitted an arrow to the string. Eos pulled it back far and took aim. She released the string and the arrow flew true to the center of the target, just as she intended.
