    "You're welcome," Layla said smiling. "I am sure your mother would be proud." Then she frowned as she felt the thought from Jenna's mind. What spell is she planning? she wondered. She inserted herself a little more firmly in Jenna's mind to find more about the spell. Something about the thought gave her a bad feeling.

    (should we move these two to another thread, so that we aren't clogging this one up?)

      Rhykim looked at Amaya, and recognized her 'graciousness'. "Amaya, no," he calmly ordered. He then looked at Zulo and the messenger who was about to speak. He then held up a finger to stop the messenger from speaking. "Amaya, escort the Rito out."

        Amaya sighed and returned the water to her skin. Then she turned to the Rito. "Come along then," she said. She understood why Master Rhykim wanted him out before the messenger spoke, but she'd prefer to be there when the message was delivered. She very much wanted to know what was so urgent.

          Rhykim could read the disappointment on Amaya's face, "No worries, General, you'll know what the news is, soon enough," Rhykim said reassuringly. Naturally, to him, Amaya and Nyx being his two closest and only generals, they have to know everything on the "business" aspect of his life. Rhykim knew well enough that without the two, he wouldn't be where is now.

            Xeonph sat, on the same stone. He wondered if Rhykim actually considered him helpful. He'd killed... two people for him, and stormed the castle. That was it. He sometimes wondered if he was good for much at all. He'd thrown away whatever he'd had when he had joined Rhykim. He couldn't even be counted on to dodge an arrow. Thinking of this, he rubbed the wound involuntarily.
            So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.
            My 3DS Friend Code is 3437-3052-8998. I'm usually playing the MH4U demo or MH4U(When it comes out), but I'd also be down for 3DS Smash Bros.

                "Thank the goddesses," Zulo muttered. As much as he wanted to see this royal message for himself, he was relieved to get out of the castle. He followed the Stari named Amaya towards the door.

                  When the intruders left Rhykim allowed the messenger to speak.

                  "Imperator, our scouts have sightings of the Gerudo are coordinating a rebellion with the Gorons. There's also reason to believe they may be asking for aid from Falconmill and Silvervale."

                  "This is disturbing," Rhykim spoke thoughtfully. "Thank you for your message, you may go home, if you wish."

                    As soon as she had escorted him into the courtyard, Amaya gave the Rito a small shove. "Now get outta here." She closed the entrance doors behind him, then turn and all but ran back up. She skidded to a halt just outside the door, then entered a little less childishly. "So what is going on?" she asked calmly.

                      The messenger stepped around Amaya outside the door. When Amaya entered the room, the guards outside shut the door to the room, "Ah, Amaya, the messenger has delivered a report of the Gerudo massing a rebellion against us. They've called aid from the Gorons and they're sending word to Falconmill and Silvervale as well. My guess is that they are not too pleased with their dead Captains. If they wish to have an engagement, then they're welcomed to it."

                        Zulo was relieved to be outside, and took a deep breath of outside air. He looked around the sky, paranoid that Ritos would be out looking for him. Nobody. He ran down the street a bit and jumped, his wings gliding him gradually further into the sky. People looked up in horror, as Zulo remembered his makeup, but soon enough he was flying free through the city. He flew just above the streets, weaving between buildings and sometimes swooping down on the road. As he flew by a market, he swooped down and snatched an apple basket. He didn't want to ever go back to Clearcliff. so he would need food. He wouldn't stand the humiliation, lectures, dishonor. He bit into one apple, and after a few bites all he held was the stem, so he pelted it down at a city guard, sending his helmet rattling around his head. The guard couldn't turn fast enough after fixing his helmet to see Zulo before he flew around a corner. He gained altitude until he could see beyond the city. In fact, he was about to leave the city. Beyond some grass like Logata Field, he could see a larger, darker mass of green. If it was what he had been taught at home, it was the Bybourne Forest, and that would mean he was going further west, away from home. He darted away and soon enough crossed the line that divided city from wildlife.

                          "Gerudo rebelling?" Amaya frowned. Then she shrugged. "We can defeat them easily enough. Desert rats, I could take them on by myself." She tapped her water skin. "What are your orders?"

                            Rhykim laughed at Amaya's response. "Well General, if you want, I'll let you go ahead and do it all by yourself. I'm sure you'd like to know the numbers though, right? The Gerudo, at last count, have a force of about 200. Most of them being divided up between archers, swordswomen, and cavalry. With the help of the Gorons, they'll be adding in explosives and large siege equipment that they've had time to prepare. In addition, you'd likely be easily trampled over by their rolling. That is why we need to go to them and catch them off-guard. The projected numbers for Falconmill are estimated to contain about 100 volunteer militia, many of them are defects from our ranks, or rebels since the start that have evaded the main invasion. Furthermore, should Silvervale agree to aid, we can expect more cavalry. Silvervale horses are top grade stallions, no doubt that they will be ready.

                            "Our first target will be Ironlynne and the Gorons. If we attack with surprise, we should be able to capture some of the explosives. Some of the reports indicate contraptions they call firearms. They appear to be long in length, with large trumpet shapes at the end and seem to be very effect for anyone with soft flesh and weak armor. (Think of a blunderbuss: http://netlinkenterprises.com/prodimages/22-1053G.jpg) They've been testing it out and it seems like a very powerful tool. I want the soldiers who will be going against the Gorons to have better armor. If we can get ahold of this technology, we can easily squash this rebellion. Are there any questions so far?" Rhykim said now having several reports spread all over the table with the world map underneath it all.

                              Amaya muttered under her breath about Rhykim not believing in her abilities. Then she chewed her lip. "I think we can beat the Gorons and Gerudo fairly easily. But the Stari aren't good against calvary, being used to the close confines of the forest. We need to convince Silvervale to join us instead of turning against." She thought for a minute more. "The Stari might be able to deal with the Gorons with our elemental abilities, but Gerudo will be a little harder if we fight in the open. They're much more used to it than we are." She turned to Nyx. "Did I miss anything?"

                                "We can use the Royal Army to fight the cavalries. If you're concerned about casualties, we'll use them first. As for the Gorons, that's why it's imperative to go to them and fight in the mountains. We'll be able to catch them off-guard and surprise them. Having the element of surprise will help our disadvantage of not knowing the land." Rhykim then cleaned up the table to again show the map of the world Nexus gave him. "Soon, after this rebellion, we'll be able to spread our influence to the other countries," and he began to laugh softly to himself.
