"Not yet, but it'll work. Give me time to think. Do you have a plan?" Endin said, sizing up Rhykim. He looked a little suspicious, so Endin quickly added, "I mean, I've got ideas. Set up some propaganda so the people think it's in our best interest to attack the mainland, or even that we're defending ourselves by stopping an unpreventable attack. Just give them something to rally behind, some grand cause. That and my brother's help is all we need."

"Right now, we need to focus on this rebellion. If the Gerudos gain Silvervale's support, we'll be on a long defensive. We need control of the island before we can assault the mainland. Xeonph threw himself at Laora. Their blades clashed, and while Xeonph's sword-and-dagger set-up was effective against the general soldier, it was no match for Laora's skill with a sword and a shield. Every strike blocked, and Laora occasionally rushed him. Xeonph had had enough. He slid under Laora's legs, spread in a solid stance, and came up in a rising slash. He nicked Laora's left arm and cut the strap. Laora, enraged by this, whirled and threw it at Xeonph. It struck him in the left arm, forcing him to drop his dagger. Xeonph reached down to grab it, but Laora speedily followed up with an uppercut, grabbing Xeonph-his sword was now sheathed- and pulling him up into the air. Xeonph desperately kicked off. They both hovered silently, staring at each other, their weapons gleaming in the light. "Well? This battle isn't going to win itself." Xeonph smiled as he said that. So what if he was being a bit headstrong? He could afford it. They yelled and flew at each other then. Xeonph thought one thing as they did so.

"Then send me and one of your generals to Silvervale while you quell the rebellion. Divide and conquer. I can get my brother to help you, your general shows I'm definitely an embassy from you, and keeps me to my orders." Endin said, turning to look at where the sounds of fighting. Two draco were fighting in the air over the courtyard, one with a traditional sword/shield combo and the other with a sword in one hand and a dagger in the other. They seemed fairly evenly matched, both more skilled than the average fighter.

"No, they're merely children, I'm not worried. As for the strategy, that seems like it's a good strategy. We can do that. I will go south to confront the Gerudo. You will go with Amaya to Silvervale to win their allegiance, I will then have Nyx go southwest to confront the Gorons. Is this an acceptable plan to allow of you? However, you and Amaya will also take a platoon in case if they... disagree... you are to make use of the soldiers, if you get my idea."sigpic

Amaya was prowling around the castle halls, muttering under her breathe against Rhykim and the Nexus and stupid men and everything else that occured to her that furthered her anger. She ignored anyone and everything as she stalked around, except to chew out whoever got in her way. Finally, she had used up every swear and curse and insult she could think of, which was quite a large amount. Muttering that she needed to learn some new ones, she headed back to the throne room, to attempt talking with Rhykim again. She paused just outside the doors and took a breathe to steady herself, then entered the room. "Commander Endin has decided that he will go and persuade one of his connections in Silvervale to persuade them to ally with us on their terms and allow us to use their horses. That will give us the edge we need to compare with both the Gerudo, as the Gorons and their... invention," Rhykim said condescendingly. "In addition, propaganda will be a good way to further reduce the chances of future rebellion." Rhykim approached Amaya and got close to her where just the two of them could hear his next comment, "Amaya, I'm glad you're back. Please don't storm off like that again. You had me worried."sigpic

Amaya muttered under her breathe. She was going to go on a diplomatic mission, with a traitor, while her twin got to go face the Gorons. True, the Gorons hadn't openly admitted they were against Rhykim yet, but she doubted it would take much for them to be aroused. She sighed as Rhykim came to her, expecting a chewing out for her behavior. Instead, he told her how worried she had made him by storming off. Her eyes widened in surprise, and she wondered just what he was playing at. "I'll try, my Lord, but you did upset me," she murmured back to him. Then she stepped back and bowed to him. Rhykim stayed close to Amaya, "Do me a favor, when this meeting is dismissed, I want to talk to you... in private." Rhykim turned around to address the rest of the group. "If there are no more questions or concerns, then this meeting is dismissed. Remember, I expect success. The price of failure is something you may not want to experience."sigpic

"As you wish, my Lord," Amaya said, with another mocking bow. She moved to where Solar had been laying since they had entered the throne room to rescue Rhykim, and sat down next to the cheetah. "Annoying, stuck-up..." she started muttering to herself.
Solar laid his head on her lap. It's because his mind is clouded. I'm sure if you help him see why he is wrong, he will change his ways.
She rubbed the cheetah's neck. "Perhaps. But I'm not the negotiating type. What I really want to do is bang his head against a wall until he agrees to deal with that stupid puddle, and now."
You know that won't help, he purred laughingly.

Rhykim allowed everyone to leave. He turned and looked down at Solar. "Please leave us?" he asked the cheetah curtly. He hoped for one on one time with Amaya, alone, without anyone there to watch or spy.sigpic

Xeonph threw his dagger at Laora, who was beginning to annoy him. He simply knocked it away with his shield. Having had enough, Xeonph threw himself at Laora in a full-on tackle, ripping his shield away. That too, clattered to the ground. Laora kicked him off, into the castle wall. Xeonph shook his head, stunned by the impact. Laora smirked. "I always knew I was better than you!" He charged at Xeonph, his blade outstretched. Xeonph pushed his shoulders against the wall, kicking off with his feet. He kicked the blade right out of Laora's hands, throwing it up into the air. He then flipped and jumped at Laora, his own blade pointed towards him. It impaled his neck. Laora made what sounded like a stifled choking noise, then Xeonph kicked his body free of the blade. His body, laden in armor, plummeted to the ground, landing with a mighty crash. Xeonph smiled. That was finally done. He lowered himself down, sheathing his sword. He wouldn't be needing the dagger. He didn't notice Laora's blade crash down a few seconds later. He began searching Laora's body, should he find valuables.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Solar glanced up at Amaya. She gave him a nod, then glared up at Rhykim as the cheetah left. "You know he's as much a part of me as my water skill. Rhykim sat down next to Amaya. He wrapped his arm around her holding her close, "Amaya, I love you. You're the one I've loved since I first met you. You running off scared me. I know you don't like Nexus, and I can't say I blame you, but my curiosity brought this upon me. It's my fault that Nexus controls and manipulates me as such. If I knew of a way to rid me of this burden, I would take it in a heartbeat. But up to my knowledge.... I'm stuck with it. Try to understand that."sigpic
