Seric Watched the two crossing the sand to the Gate to the Bay. once they had joined him, he led them through the small passage to the bay. the open water spread before them, meting the horison in a perfect line interuppted only by the small building in the middle of the water. the air smelled of sal****er and overhead, sea gulls could be heard. "Well. Here we are. The Great bay." he said, breathtaken as always. he looked to the Left. "and thats where we are going" he said as he pointed to a small stone structure that appeared to be built into the wall, its blue and white paint worn from years of neglect.

Briana stared at the water in amazement. She had read about the sea, who hadn't? And she'd been to Lake Hylia. But this made even the vast lake seem small. How could there be so much water in one place? And the salt! She could smell it, could feel it in the air against her skin. Such a rare season, sought after by the greedy in Hyrule, and here was an abundance, just sitting in water. But how would one remove it? It was a puzzle to be sure, and she promised herself she'd solve it after finding the library.
She turned to where Seric pointed and immediately felt a wave of disappointment. The building he had pointed to was small. Very small. It looked as if it was barely bigger than her room. How could this be a library? Then she reminded herself that it was a library in a foreign country. Despite the small quantity, all the books in there would be rare in Hyrule, and she would be able to share new knowledge with her home. Skirts swirled around her as she started for the building.

Daniel gaped for a few seconds at the great blue that stretched out before them. It was now clear that the waves had been the ones crashing and breaking on the shore. This was the type of sights you only ever dreamed of seeing, and one of the things that made him happier about having the map in his possession. Not many Hylians would ever see the sea, yet he held a small chance of even leaving it, if the map so desired. After being completely immersed by his surroundings, he made sure to take a mental picture of the ocean and turned to the structure that Seric had pointed out. It seemed weird, somehow, almost too old in comparison to the buildings around it. He could sense there was more to it than one could see as he followed behind Briana.

Seric began to walk forward toward the building, motioning the two to follow behind. He led them into the darkness of the small hut. The area was clean except for some dust on the wall and floor. There was a small crack in a clean spot of wall in the back wall and behind it, a faint scratching could be heard. "You may want to stand back," he said as he placed a bomb by the wall. It detonated, revealing a passage which led deeper into the ground. "That should do it. Whenever your ready.". He looked at Daniel, then at Brianna, then jumped down the passage, sliding down the slope laughing like a madman.

*Sephira, Maxwell and Shade arrive from Espionage*

It certainly was quieter here than in Clock Town. Sephira breathed deeply the salt air, feeling herself relax. Salt wasn't something she was used to smelling, but it was soothing nonetheless. And the gentle crashing of the waves against the shore created a calming effect too. At least, until she heard an explosion. She reached to draw her bow as her gaze settled on the building where the noise came from. "What was that?"

Briana winced at the explosion, and wondered vaguely if there would have been a less noisy option. And the slope made her a little hesitant too. She was wearing a dress, after all. She didn't want to go sliding down a slope, especially if it was dusty. She now really wished she'd had a chance to change into a new outfit before they came here. "After you," she said to Daniel.

Maxwell didn't answer. Instead, he simply pulled out his sword and ran towards the building, Shade following very close behind. They went around the building and saw two people, a boy and a girl. There was a hole on the wall they were standing near. Maxwell also noticed their weird clothing.

"Excuse me, but what would you happen to be doing creating holes in walls of buildings that you don't own? Are you two even from around here?" Maxwell didn't try to sound mean, but right now, this was distracting from the tour he was giving Sephira of Great Bay. Granted, he could've said that the explosion was nothing and continued walking, but it was too late for that.

Shade checked the humans out. They were dressed differently compared to the ones in the town, and wondered if they were from somewhere else. He wanted to go up and sniff them to get their scent, but seeing as Maxwell wasn't being too friendly, Shade decided to stay back.

Daniel had been surprised by the explosion, and frowned at the slide beyond the hole. He could tell that Briana wasn't very comfortable in sliding down either, but just as he was about to go down after Seric, he heard a voice behind them. Turning, he was surprised to see a guy with his sword drawn, followed closely by a wolf. He wasn't afraid of him, but something about his attitude made him feel like the guy wasn't used to being challenged. "We were just going to look at some books. I'm sorry, who are you again?" He asked this calmly, trying not to sound accusatory.

Before anybody could do anything, Shade went over to Daniel and Briana and sniffed them both. Daniel wasn't anything special, but Briana had a very pleasing scent. Shade sat next to Briana, and waited for her to pet him.

"Shade, what are you doing, exactly?" Maxwell asked.

"This female smells nice. I shall sit next to this female." Shade responded. Maxwell sighed, disappointed in his companion. He made a mental reminder to teach the wolf some manners later. Maxwell sheathed his sword.

"You must not be from around here if you don't know who I am. I'm Maxwell Kal. KING Maxwell Kal, actually. Forgive me for my rudeness just a second ago. I'm still...getting used to being a king." Maxwell looked at Briana. "And ma'am, please do not panic. My wolf, Shade, means no harm. He's working on his manners. Shade, get over here." Shade reluctantly walked back to Maxwell, and sat at his side.

Sephira recognized the pair instantly as Hylian. She thought she even remembered seeing the boy before, although she couldn't put her finger on where. Star would likely know, having a good mind for people and places. The girl was a stranger to her, though.

Briana was surprised by the entrance of the two strangers, and immediately felt defensive as the man demanded to know what they thought they were doing. Daniel spoke up before she had a chance to come up with a sharp retort, which was probably a good thing, when he informed them, a little peevishly, that he was the king. She patted the dog-like creature when it sat beside her, although it was clear Maxwell didn't appreciate it. "A wolf?" she repeated, looking the animal over. She'd never seen a wolf before, except the mounted head in one of her father's client's homes. But the way he always described killing the beast, she'd always pictured wolves as much larger animals. "I didn't realize wolves could be tamed."

"They never are," Sephira replied. "This one just likes us enough that he doesn't see us as a threat. But what are two Hylians like you doing in Termina?"

Daniel raised his eyebrows when the one named Maxwell revealed his title. Perhaps there had been a bigger reason for the map bringing him to this place after all. "Newly made King? That's interesting," he started, but stopped as he heard the woman who had come in behind him talk. He had thought he recognized her, but after she spoke she remembered exactly where he'd met her before. His hand instinctively grabbed the hidden weapon around his left arm. "Learning," he added responding to her question. "Here very much by accident, but we like to take advantage of an opportunity." He wasn't sure if she remembered him or not, but he was wondering the same thing she was. What was a Hylian like her doing here? And with the new King nonetheless.

"Accident? How does one get into Termina by accident?" Maxwell asked, genuine curiosity in his voice.

"What's the problem?" Shade asked.

"They say they are here by accident." Maxwell replied, still waiting for an answer.

Shade found the wording curious as well. "By accident? What do you mean, female?" Shade asked Briana, even though he knew that she probably wouldn't understand him.

"you two Coming?" Seric's voice echoed up from the bottom, not long after a hook shot up, pulling him and his hookshot up to the top. "i was- wait. Who are you? Where did you come From?" his attitude changed immediately as he saw the larger group. he held defensively onto his hookshot, watching the new people closely.

Maxwell's attention went from Dan and Briana to the boy who came from the hole. Max noticed how the boy immediately became defensive, so he made a mental note to be prepare to defend himself if the boy tried anything.

"I'm King Maxwell Kal, of Clock Town. I heard an explosion, and was curious as to what caused it."

Shade growled at Seric, noticing that he took a defensive stance. If he attacked, then Shade would be on him in a moment. Maxwell heard Shade's growl, and looked at the wolf.

"Shade, don't do that. He's already on edge, so your growl might provoke him."

"Fine."

(Seric, just so you know, when speech is in italics, that means they are communicating in animal language.)

Seric regarded the speaker closely. "King Maxwell? Well then I guess I may as well give my introduction. My name is Prince Serinopeth Du Ikana, or Seric if you prefer." He hadn't known Clock Town had a king but as long as there was nobility about... he thought to himself that he may be a good ally or a bad enemy for his dead kingdom. He relaxed a bit and slowly sheathed his hookshot, looking intrigued at the growling wolf. "And there's no need for that , friend, as I mean none of you harm. and I trust you mean me no harm. Now, what are you people doing here?" He said calmly. He did not, however, move his hand farther from the hilt of his sword from the sheath of which, came a faint glow.
