Jacob burst into the place where Lilly, Kota, and Odin where. "In the name of the giants, you will NOT sign that paper!" Jacob said. Jacob looked at Odin. "Odin, buddy, your parents are lieing to you. They only want you back for bad things, not to appreciate you. In fact..." Jacob looked at the paper that was about to be signed. "..I think they only want you so they can transfer some money passed down to you to them!" Suddenly, Jacob snatched the paper, tore it up, and proceeded to glare at Kota and Lilly. "You heartless, cruel twigs! All you want to do is just grab all the money in the world and keep it to yourselves! How can you guys even be my best friend's parents? How can selfish people give birth to a selfless child? I don't understand! You two are the most horrible beings on the planet, you ARE NOT Odin's parents, and if you do or don't mind, I will be taking Odin and saving the innocent people of Clocktown from an invasion by my evil cousin's army!" After yelling all of this, Jacob sighed with tiredness. That speech of sorts had taken a lot of air.

Near the entrance, the guards were trying to figure out what to do(because they had surprisingly caught up to Jacob). "If we go in there and raise a weapon in Lady Lilly's presence, we'll get banished!" one guard protested. "Yeah, but if we don't get that kid, we sure are going to get a heck of a scolding from Lady Lilly and Sir Kota!" Another one argued. The argument kept going back and forth, one half of the guards saying no and the other half saying yes.
