James lay on the ground for a second, letting the pain sink in. He definitely hadn't been expecting that. But he had also confirmed his suspicions, Tennor hadn't tried to move one inch, meaning he was afraid of slipping. James stood up, and took a deep breath. Then he raised his arms and pulled off his shirt. The cold water felt nice against his skin. Sure, he might end up sick later on, but for now he didn't mind. Once again he charged at Tennor, but this time, just when he was about to reach him, he purposely slipped forward, falling to the ground on his back, and slid the rest of the way, passing under Tennor's legs, cutting him there.

Tennor cussed under his breath, "James, if you actually cut them off, i am going to kill you. That is not fun, man... I odn't wanna try it."Comment

Sephira stood in the shadows of a near-by building. She had split up with Star and Midnight, since the rain would make it difficult for the two animals to track down Elliot and Rose. They had agreed to return to the house when they had within a hour, if not before having found one of the two.
When the rain had gotten really bad, Sephira pulled her cloak from her pack and put it on, pulling the hood up over her head. This kept much of the rain off her, but it was still fairly chilly. She shivered slightly, then called on her inner flame to warm herself up. This would work for awhile, but she'd be beat if she stayed out too long.
She had found the two outside while making a pass through a street. She had spotted the flash of blades and wandered over, curious. Now she leaned against a building, hiding with the help of her black cloak, watching them. She hoped niether would wound the other too bad, but she knew she would be able to deal with it, unless it was fatal. She prayed to Lady Din they wouldn't deal any fatal wounds.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

After slashing at Tennor's ANKLES James slipped further then put in his foot to slow down and finally stop. He jumped back up and turned to look at his opponent. The cuts would help him fall, but he didn't know if that was enough. Then, another thought occurred to him. Fight with your surrounding, keep an eye out, keep strong. He looked once more at the muddy floor. Smiling he began circling Tennor.Comment

Elliot ran through the streets of Kakariko, constantly looking from left to right and calling out to Rose. He didn't care how crazy it made him seem to others. Something had to be troubling Rose if she just up and left like that. Eventually he reached the far side of the town that was a lot more quieter than its opposite side. He slowed his pace to a light jog, only slowing down a bit more to peer through the dark alleyways shaded by the roof overhang.
He finally saw her curled up into a ball against one of the buildings. Without a word, he walked over to her side, sat down next to her, and pulled her into a hug, allowing her to cry into his chest as he quietly sat there and rocked her.Comment

it took a little while to realize that elliot had shown up but when she did her tears slowed, just a little. when she had calmed down a little she spoke "im sorry for running off like that" rose said "its just..... i dont like people seeing me when im like this, it makes me feel week..... stupid pride" rose looked up and smiled at him.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

James continued circling him for a moment, then finally began running at him. A few feet away he jumped and twirled in the air, throwing one of his knives at Tennor, as soon as he landed he jumped again and attempted to roundhouse kick him, let's see how Tennor got out of this one.Comment

Sephira continued to watch the two fight, chuckling a little to herself. Had this been a fight in the forest, there would have been more mud on the combatants, more blood scattered around. Then again, the forest had more mud to offer, more herbs to treat the wounds. She shrugged, it was better they were cautious.
Midnight sat near-by Elliot and Rose, watching them. He knew better than to intrude, after walking in on Sephira and her friend often enough. He just kept watch, making sure they were alright. When he spotted Star further down the road, he did bark at her, letting her know he had found them and to tell Sephira that. The cheetah yowled back that she would and run off. Tennor dodged the knife, but his head flew right into James's kick. After feeling his nose warm, he grabbed at the attacking leg.Comment

James smiled when he felt his foot make contact then cursed when he felt Tennor grab his foot. He kicked upwards with his other leg, trying to free himself, and cursed again when he felt his torso fall backwards and hit the ground. He quickly took hold of his remaining knife and pulled himself forward as if he was doing a sit-up, managing to reach Tennor and slash at his arm.Comment

Elliot allowed himself to become locked in the deep kiss, feeling his heart beat faster and his breath shorten. His right hand slid down to her lower back area while his left hand gently cradled the back of her head. Then out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Midnight in the near distance, watching them. Despite being an animal, he couldn't help but blush and he pulled away from Rose. "Come on," he said, holding out a hand to help her up. "Let's go home." Under his breath, he muttered, adding, "Voyeur wolf."Comment
