"Land! Guys, there's land!" It had been only that morning when the little Kokiri had ran up and down the ship, announcing the great news to everyone on board with the black wolf chasing after him. Shane had been sitting in his usual spot below deck, but the shouting had been enough to pull him aboard. Sure enough, the boy had been right. He had seen cliffs on the distance, small yet, but seagulls had been flying above as well. The rest of the morning had breezed away. Now, he stood below the crow's nest, watching as a great city loomed large before them. They were still maybe an hour out from it, but he knew the people must have seen them as well by then. Still, he walked over to the captain and ordered him to head for the large beach to the right of the city. The port had looked appealing enough, but they had no idea what kind of people lived there and the lack of boats coming and going left an eerie feeling in his mind. About an hour later, he felt the entire ship shake as they brushed the shore.

"We've landed!" the captain announced loud and clear. James had felt them land before he heard him, so he was already out in the salty air when the rest of the passengers emerged to see what they had been travelling for so long to reach. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, listening to the shouts of the crew finishing their jobs. As he opened them, he saw Elwood standing by him, standing on the tips of his toes to peek over the railing. At long last, James felt a sense of safety when he saw the boy, and his thoughts flew back to Melody in Hyrule. He smiled. We're here.

They are were excited by the new land, but Midnight was happy to just to get off the ship. He didn't wait for them to land; as soon as they were close enough, he hopped off the ship and swam to shore. Star watched him with amusement as he struggle against the coastal waves and sea water, but he arrived on the land nearly the same time the ship did. He shook himself, his thick black coat hanging off his muscular frame. Star hopped over the rail and walked towards him. "I'm not grooming you," she warned him.
He simply grinned at her as Sephira walked over to them. She knelt by the wolf and rubbed his head, laughing. "You really were tired of being on there, weren't you."
Briana looked around as she and Daniel reappeared. She shaded her eyes, surprised to discover they were standing on a beach. "Where are we now?" she asked, peering at a ship nearby. Then she frowned as she made out a figure by it. "Hey, isn't that the girl from that underground library? With Maxwell?" She looked at Daniel, her brow wrinkling with puzzlement. "How did she get here? And what was her name anyways? I don't remember if she ever introduced herself."

Way above the heads of everyone in Falconmill, something resembling a very dark grey cloud began to descend towards an alley near the dock area. The closer to the ground it got, the more the shape changed, coming to resemble a person. It entered the alley and vanished as soon as it hit the ground, leaving behind a young man, a few years past adolescence. This man was Luther.
For a few seconds, Luther's eyes were closed. Quickly, he opened them, and stood up. He looked around, and immediately realized he didn't know where he was.
What...happened? Where am I? Luther asked himself. Last thing he remembered, he had challenged the mystery man who had helped them fend off the Gerudo at their fortress. Luther's premonition told him that the man was evil, so he had drawn his sword and tried to attack the man. Unfortunately, the man caught his sword with one hand, then used his other hand to cover Luther's face.

Now I'm here... Luther told himself. Oh, I'll skin that man alive when I see him again.

Luther turned to his left, and exited the alley. The light here was a bit more intense than it was in the alley for whatever reason, so it took a little bit for Luther's eyes to adjust. When he finally could see, Luther saw a young man, younger than him, and a young girl, about the same age. Their clothing looked relatively Hylian, so Luther assumed he might be in Termina.

"Excuse me, ma'am and sir." Luther said, getting closer to the duo. "Can you tell me what town this is? I'm a bit...lost."

Daniel walked a few steps, then looked around. He tried to recognize any familiar aspect of where they were, but nothing was ringing any bells. He looked back to Briana, then turned his eyes to where she was referring to. When he saw her, he was more surprised than he had been in a while. Meeting someone twice in his travels was rare, but three times was unheard of. He looked at her in awe, wondering what she could mean. "I...I can't believe it, but I can't remember her name," he confessed to Bri, thinking hard trying to remember it. When a man approached, it took him a second to realize it was them who he was talking to. "Oh, well..." he began in answer to his questions, chuckling awkwardly at the irony, "I can't say we're going to be much help either. We just...got here, per say, and don't really know where here really is." He thought back to the moment before they were brought here, and remembered at least one name. "Logata...wherever that is."

Gerrard had spent far too long in this ship, he had never truly gotten used to the movement of the sea, when it had felt like the floor itself lurched beneath him. It was even worse when storm clouds rolled in, when it seemed as if the sea broiled beneath him and that he was going to hurl the contents of his stomach all over the room. At least he had Jacky though, there was always a positive even in the absolute worst of situations. He had not been truly close to someone since his parents had died, his past had emotionally detached him. Sure, he had friends of one sort or the other, but he was not truly close to them. He lied to them about the smallest of things, never entrusted them with even the most minuscule of secrets.

But Jacky, he had entrusted her with most everything. He blearily rubbed his eyes as he finally managed to sit up out of bed, moving carefully as to attempt to not wake Jacky. Suddenly, his door burst open and she woke either way, it was the Kokiri, apparently they had found land. Oh land, such a precious thing. It was something he did not think he would miss until he was deprived of it. He missed something solid beneath his feet, it was something he needed.

On the deck of the ship he watched the land come closer and closer with Jacky, surveying the shoreline with an eye that clearly knew nothing about this new land, he was excited though. It felt right for him, and that feeling was only intensified when he stepped onto the land itself, he nearly fell to his knees and kissed the sand, but he did not, walking amongst the others, Jacky at his side and an odd feeling of adventure in his heart.

Jackylin squinted into the horizon, watching the land mass grow slowly but steadily. She was excited to be seeing a world so far from bland Hyrule, but she did feel a pang of homesickness as they approached the new country. She didn't have a pictobox to speak of nor the money to purchase one, but she could probably buy a small journal to record her sights in and maybe make small drawings in to show her family upon returning to Hyrule. "Are you excited, Gerrard?"

Gerrard shrugged. "I guess so, the entire reason I left Hyrule was to get to this place in front of us, to forge a new life. So it would be hard to not be excited," he cleared his throat, "or at least hopeful."

"What are you hoping to see?" she asked, rocking back and forth with her hands on the railing of the ship. "Hyrule was boring as it was, I can see what you mean." Jackylin couldn't help but grin, giddy to make landfall.

Without any warning, Elwood suddenly jumped on the rail and over board. It was a split moment of panic in which James felt all the fear in the world. Yet, when he looked down he realized the boy had landed in the water and was now swimming to the sandy beach. There, he joined Sephira, Midnight, and Star. "Are you excited, guys?" he said, almost vibrating. "It's like a whole new place where we've never been before. It's like so new and shiny and oh wow do you think there's people here who are like us, or maybe lizard magical people who shoot fire from their eyes!" He looked around, trying to find them. Just then James joined them, smiling at the boy's amazement.

Briana smiled at the strange man who approached Daniel and her, rather amused that he seemed to have no clue where he was either. "I wonder if they know?" she commented, gesturing to the group on the beach. "After all, they came here the conventional way, unlike us. Shall we go ask?"
Sephira laughed as Elwood joined them, his excitement so innocent and carefree. She ruffled his hair and stood, grimacing at the wet spot left on her clothes after petting the wolf. She moved over to James and took his hand, smiling at him before turning her attention back to Elwood and the animals. Midnight barked, happy that the Kokiri had joined him, then shook his coat, scattering water droplets everywhere. Star hissed with annoyance and retreated, grumbling that she had to clean salt water from her coat. Midnight watched her, grinning, then charged at Elwood, hoping to play a game of chase with him after having spent so long in a confined area.

Luther paused when he heard Briana say that the other group had come the conventional way. Implying you got here a different way? Luther was curious, but didn't bother asking, as they would likely ask him how he got here.

"I suppose we should." Luther said, taking a moment to locate the group Briana mentioned. He walked past Daniel and Briana and walked towards the group, catching the eye of a blonde girl a few years younger than himself.

"Hello, miss." Luther said, approaching the girl he had made eye contact with. "I'm, uh, a bit lost. The last place I remember being was Gerudo Desert. Is this anywhere near there?"

Gerrard shrugged and ran his hands over the smooth rail, feeling the wood under his fingers. He ran a hand through his hair then before speaking. "I do not know, really. I don't think there's anything in particular I want to see." He sighed, "I am here for a new life. I want to get away from my old one, and this is what this land is for. I just hope that this will be worth it, that it was worth leaving everything behind."

Elwood laughed and ran after Midnight, enjoying the freedom of solid ground beneath their feet. Just then Luther approached and James looked at him, confused. When he was done, he eyed the man up and down, wondering if he was joking or not. When he decided he probably wasn't, he frowned. "Got lost?" he asked, "Well, I don't know if there's some kind of Gerudo Desert in this place, but if there isn't that must have been some pretty incredible thing that made you get lost. Gerudo Desert is very, very far away." He finished sympathetically, hoping the man was okay.

"I don't quite believe anything is ever worth leaving everything behind," Shane slithered, having been standing right behind Gerrard. "There are always things we should keep. But don't worry, I'm sure there are some things you didn't actually leave behind." He moved to stand beside him, on the other side of Jacky. "Some weapons with a history, a beautiful girl," he smiled slyly, nodding at her. "Oh, and your memories of course." He grinned with his teeth, a glint in his eye. "Our deepest, darkest, most terrible memories and thoughts. Oh no, we can never leave those behind, regardless of where we try to run to." After a moment's pause, he chuckled and stepped back. "Oh well, I am heading for what appears to be that port, see if I can gather more information on our location. It was a delight having you on my ship. Hopefully, we can meet again," he added, winking at Gerrard before turning to descend down the ramp that had now been set out to reach the beach.

Jackylin blushed slightly at first, but the redness quickly faded as Shane continued talking. She watched him walk down off the ship and towards the port before she spoke to Gerrard. "I don't think I trust him," she said quietly, as if he could still hear her. "He sounded like he knew everything our lives in Hyrule and Termina had to offer, it makes me uncomfortable." She shifted nervously, then looked to her boyfriend. "What do you think?"

Briana followed the other man as he approached the group by the ship. She was rather surprised to see that the woman was the only one she recognized from among them. The black panther and grey wolf were gone, replaced by a black wolf and a cheetah with a rather unusual starry pattern. A boy played with the wolf, while the woman stood holding hands with a younger man, certainly not Maxwell. Briana frowned. Maxwell and the woman had seemed close, so why was she with this other man, who barely looked older than a boy? And who was the little boy? Surely she wasn't old enough to be his mother?

Sephira looked up in surprise at the man who approached them. She glanced at Elwood as the boy answered the question, smiling at the innocence in his voice, and turned back to the man. "I recognize you as Hylian, but this isn't Hyrule. We're not sure where we are now, other than many leagues from that country." She caught sight of Briana behind the man and frowned. How was she here? Sephira didn't think it was possible for her to have arrived before her own group, considering how quickly they'd left Termina after meeting. Looking up, she spotted Daniel as well and wondered if it was a coincidence that he had appeared thrice in her life now, at important stages. First just after killed Strattus, second just after she passed part of her tribe's legacy to a stranger and before her betrayal of him. And now here, as she set foot on a strange new land. "Once is accident, twice coincidence," she muttered, "Thrice times, fate."
