Xeonph suddenly snapped back into reality. Having been utterly ignored by those people, he had tuned out. He shook his head and looked around. Nothing much.
That was awfully rude of them... but what is it about this puddle?
So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.
My 3DS Friend Code is 3437-3052-8998. I'm usually playing the MH4U demo or MH4U(When it comes out), but I'd also be down for 3DS Smash Bros.

Rhykim's image started to fade back in. It was working slowly, but nevertheless, it was working. Never before was he so glad to see his two closest friends to be at his side when he needed help, nor would it be the last. He started to feel better and less fearful and more alive. He could feel his body temperature rise as the atmosphere in his head began to change to a desert kind of feel. For the first time in a long time, he was comforted by Amaya's presence. Soon, when the girls finished their transfer, Rhykim felt whole again. He collapsed in his head, and the collapse forced everybody, including himself out.
For a moment, Nyx thought Rhykim was going to wake back up. She could feel his presence. Then, it just vanished. She tried to fight back the panic growing inside her, but it wasn't working. She shot Layla a questioning glance, hoping she would get answers, but not able to form questions due to how terrified she was.
Rhykim still remained still on the floor. After what seemed like many minutes, he moved slightly. He then took his helmet off and held his hand to his forehead. He groaned loudly, "Uggggnnn... my head hurts... what happened?"
"Vaguely. I remember talking to a girl...," Rhykim tried to move but his body hurt with intense pain still from the after effect of the near death experience. "Then... I think... Nexus attacked me...," Rhykim said trying to recollect the events prior to everything that happened. Apparently absentminded about the whole ordeal.
Layla was pleased when she felt Rhykim's mind grow stronger. She was more than a little surprised when something kicked her out and she snapped back into her body. She fell to her knees with the sudden pain, gripping her head. The only other time her mind had snapped so suddenly back to her body was... Quickly, she shook the thought away. Rhykim wasn't dead. He had been growing stronger, she knew it. He was not going to follow Twinkle's path.
Amaya winced as her mind returned to her body and rubbed her head. "Little more of a thank you would be nice," she muttered. She looked over as Rhykim started moving and knelt next to him. "Nexus attacked you? No duh. That's what it did when it tried to instate itself as your ruler," she said, a little more harshly than she should have, but she wanted Rhykim to know, without a doubt, just how angry she was with him for bowing to the puddle's wishes.
Rhykim looked at Amaya. With a sudden burst of energy, he leaned up and kissed Amaya. In his mind, he didn't want to be that close and lose Amaya. For the first time, he's been able to love Amaya the way he hasn't been able to since his desire for conquest started. For once, he wanted to treat her the way she should have been. The way Shak treated the woman he clearly cared for. When he stopped the kissing, he then spoke, "Don't worry, I don't plan to serve it anymore. I will pay it a visit and request it to release me from the bondage. If it refuses, well all three of us will defeat it."
Amaya blinked in surprise. Master Rhykim had never kissed her so lovingly before. Sure, they had made love to each other before, but she had made love to so many men, just for the joy of tormenting them. Never before she been kissed with such passion, or so suddenly. When Rhykim pulled away, she took a little while to collect herself enough to get her heart going again. When she did, she faced Rhykim and was about to give him a chewing out, though for exactly what she didn't know, when he said he was going to ask the Nexus to let him go. Her mouth just hung open and her mind tried to process exactly what this mean.
Layla moaned, then stood. "I suppose you need my help to face that thing," she said, still rubbing her head. She grimaced behind her mask. "I hope it does agree to let you go. I don't think my head can take much more."
"Unfortunately, I can't be involved in the plan. Nexus can see everything I see, hear everything I say, feel everything I feel, and know everything I think. You guys must be the ones to make the plan and details. I cannot know a single bit. I will leave to see Nexus at dusk."
Nyx sighed. "Nothing can be easy, can it?" she asked, shaking her head. "Alright then, what can you tell us about the Nexus? The two of you are linked, so you surely must know something about it, right?" At this point, Nyx was just grabbing at straws. She didn't even know this type of thing existed until she saw it take over Rhykim. She didn't have the slightest idea of what to do to break their bond.
"Well I know exactly what I'm going to do," Amaya said. "I'm going to walk right up to that puddle and I'm going to-"
Layla slapped her hand over the other Stari's mouth. Yes, I'm sure we can all guess what you can do, she said into Amaya's mind, making sure Nyx was linked as well. But there is no reason to blurt it out. As long as Lord Rhykim doesn't know, Nexus won't be able to defend itself. She didn't say that she felt Nexus would be able to guess anyways, if was as powerful mentally as it had felt. She turned to Rhykim. "I know it's strong, since it attacked us so viciously before. And it won't easily release you, considering how strongly it fought to keep me from disconnecting you. Why is that? What exactly has Nexus asked you to do?"
Rhykim sighed, "I have to go and conquer three of the other four Nexi (<---- Not sure if that's the proper plural or not) in the world. I guess Logata isn't the only place on the world. According to this Nexus, there's a continent located just off of the eastern horizon. The map on the table shows the details." Rhykim now managed to stand up and was now starting to feel stronger. He went over to pick up his helmet and when he did, he set it on the table.
"I just wonder why it wants the other ones conquered... Maybe they aren't evil like this one is?" Nyx thought out loud. She shrugged then added, "Well, either that or this thing is power hungry... It would just be nice to know what this thing is thinking."
Layla nodded agreement. "I could try to access its mind. Lord Rhykim has a close enough bond to it that I think I can follow it and enter unnoticed. However, if Nexus does sense me, there is a chance it will attack me, or drag me into its grip. I am willing to take that risk, but I must know if you are."
Amaya scowled. "I still say we should just kick its watery behind and throw it into the sea," she muttered. Amaya, as always, couldn't grasp the finace required.
