Zulo just stared at the man who had just woken up. More people had come in, seeming to wake up the man, but Zulo just ignored them all. He was amazed that the man had woken up. He looked almost dead, and somehow his image was flickering, and Zulo didn't understand anything that was happening. As he ignored the people, someone seemed to speak to him, but he wasn't sure, and didn't want to make himself more noticeable, so he ignored the voice. Nobody else seemed to pay any attention to him, as they were obvously helping out their friend on the floor. He was sure they somehow hadn't noticed the broken window and the witch. He walked over to Jenna. "We better head out," He told her. "Not much action in here."

Jenna nodded "yeah, pretty boring" she said "but where are we going to go to, maybe we can go to the marsh, terroize some of the deku" she giggled like a little girl "that would be fun, they're so unruly, but I'm far form scared of them, they're little plant people" she clicked her fingers and a small little fire orb poped out in her hands "and my mother did teach me a fire spell before she died" she chuckled, closing her hand over the fire to extinguish it.Last edited by Kairu; 04-28-2012, 07:33 PM.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Rhykim then turned to the Rito and the girl suddenly barking "Wait!" at them. He was rather curious as to why a Rito would dare show his face in Rhykim's Castle. "You're a Rito! Why are you here? You're either stupid, or brave for walking into the man who ordered your peaceful village to be burned's castle. I could easily have you captured. I'm sure some of my... associates, would love to ransom you. So why don't you just be straight with me, Boy."sigpic

Zulo was surprised at how easily everybody could tell he was a Rito, even through the makeup that had even scared himself earlier in the day. He decided to make the best of the paint and walked up to the man who had spoken to him. This guy immediately ticked Zulo off. Burn the Rito Village down? Did this guy know anything about the Ritos? He honestly couldn't tell how harmless they were, and how little they deserved to be destroyed. It was the first time he had felt mad at someone for offending the Ritos, even if Zulo himself were annoyed by them. "What did you say?" Zulo glared at the man who had been lying on the floor so helplessly just moments before, and now threatening to burn down Zulo's home. "Something about burning down a helpless, peaceful village that has never done anything to offend your people, but has only done what it can to help." Zulo didn't know much about Clearcliff's connection with this place, but he had a feeling it wasn't too great, even if he couldn't make any sense of it. It seemed like all the older Ritos focused on was making the next generation good people like them. There was always the possibility that this guy had no clue what he was talking about, but if he can "order" things to happen, he must have some knowledge in his human head. "You humans are great people. Always willing to help." He grumbled sarcastically. "I hope you know that you aren't the only one with royal status in this room." Despite his words, Zulo knew that the royal Rito family was a joke. What the heck, always worth a try. "Maybe us and our Draco friends can return the favor." Another lie, Zulo knew. The Ritos and Dracos hated each other. Again, it was worth a try. He already knew he was gonna be locked up, but he didn't really care. Something interesting. And he was pretty sure his village would be burned down too.Comment

I can easily round your... kind... up and have all of your elders executed and force the kids into slavery. Now answer my question or I'll kill you like I killed King Logata!"sigpic

Layla raised an eyebrow at Rhykim, though he wouldn't see it. Getting a little fierce, aren't you, she thought. Privately, though. She didn't want to be glared at or chewed out.
Amaya, on the other hand, grinned. It wasn't her cheerful one; it was her normal, blood-thirsty grin. "Rhykim, let me do it. Oh, please! I'd love to get him talking." She ran her tongue along her teeth while her lips were still drawn back and popped open the large water skin on her belt. "A message," Zulo returned Rhykim's glare, and glanced at the other girl. She seemed like the kind of person who was always picking fights. Nobody stuck up for Zulo either, which annoyed him. Everyone was on this King killing tyrant's side? He hated it all. "My father was having me bring a message to one of his friends who's somewhere in town, and I saw the window cleaner guy lose balance and fall through the window so I came to help him get to the nurse." He pointed up to the smashed window. "As for the girl, she needed a ride back home after her horse died on the way back." He lied, unfurling his wings and kneeling down for Jenna to get on his back. "Now, I know you would love to have a chat, but I have some work to get done. And you better talk with the window cleaner about getting a new window."Comment

Rhykim grumbled as he couldn't possibly determine if the Rito was being truthful, but he wanted to cover his bases. "If you come near this Castle again, good intentions or not, I'll have you killed before you even get close to the walls. Now leave my sight before I change my mind about sparing your life."sigpic

Amaya put her lip out in a pout. She capped her water skin, then stood. "Do you want me to escort him out, Master Rhykim?"
Layla, detecting the frustration in Rhykim, plunged her mind in the Rito's. She wasn't at all surprised to find him lying, but she was surprised to discover that he was the Rito prince. She carefully entered Rhykim's mind, trying not to antagonize the Nexus as she did so. He's the prince. "Yes," Rhykim replied, "Escort both the Rito and the girl out. Amaya," Rhykim said pausing to ensure he has her attention, "They are to be unharmed. They've done no damage to this castle or us, so no need to be impolite, even if there is bad blood." Rhykim then heard Layla speaking to him mentally. "It doesn't surprise me that he's lying about his motives, however, I stand by my statement. He's done no harm other than trespassing."sigpic

Jenna had been watching the group curiously "you hate any race that isn't human, don't you" she said curiously "my mother told me about people like you, people who hate people for what they are. she said that witches are mistaken for evil but true evil comes from people who can't accpect others, and therefore, can't understand love" Jenna smiled sweetly at the people, hoping her words would help calm them.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Amaya rolled her eyes. "Girl, Logatans have pointed ears. And for the record, neither Nyx, Serino, nor I are human either. We're Stari. Now come on. Let's get you out of here before Master Rhykim decides that your tongue needs silencing. I'd be more than willing to cut it out for him." She gave the girl a wicked grin.
Layla withdrew from Rhykima and the Rito prince's mind. She moved to a chair and sat down.
