"James?" Tennor asked, "Rose? Sephira? Elliot? Did I get the wrong adress again?" he sighed, knowing that they probabaly wouldn't even open the door.

Elliot was about to seal the deal when he heard a knock on the door and someone calling their names. He looked questioningly at the others, wordlessly asking them if they had been expecting company. With a shrug, he walked over to the door and opened it.
"Tennor!" Elliot said with surprise. "Hey! What brings you here?"

"Nice to see you, Elliot!" Tennor said, "Anyway, I got bored and decided to come see how you guys were doing. What's up?"

"Nice to see you again, too," Elliot said with a smile, stepping aside so Tennor wouldn't have to stand around outside. "I trust the folks back at the camp are doing well." He gestured to the man handling their papers. "We're just about ready to buy this house," he said. "So I'll be expecting a house warming present from you soon," he teased. He turned to look at his family and friends. "What do you say, guys, we ready to claim this house as our own?"

Tennor nodded, "Ammy was acting kinda weird and then left... besides that, camp is doing great!" he stepped inside, "Nice."

Sephira ignored the door, simply because she didn't know who it was, and it wasn't going to be her house anyways. She glanced up when Elliot answered it and she recognized Tennor's voice. She smiled at him, then stood up. She chuckled at Elliot's question. "Well, it's not going to be my house, but I think Star has already taken residence here." The cheetah had laid down next to the table, just in front of the feet of Elliot's chair. Sephira knew that was where she loved to lay down when at some place she considered home, and hadn't seen her in that position in a long time.

James smiled at Sephira and then at Star. Then he turned to Elliot and after a minute of reconsidering, made up his mind. "House or not, wherever you guys are, that's my home," he started, then with a smile added, "but yes, I admit this is a very nice house." He felt so happy.

"Eh, since when did Ammy ever not act like her usual unique self?" Elliot said with a chuckle. That lighthearted feeling inside of him was coming back, and it came on even stronger when everyone gave their happy approvals of the house. Finally, for once, they'd have an official place to call home. Sure what James said was true--it was the people that made up a home, not a house. Still, he wanted only the very best for his family. Of course, there was just one problem...
"Oh yes, you said I needed to make a down payment first before we could actually start living in here?" Elliot asked the proprietor who had been waiting patiently for someone to get back to him.
"That is correct," he said, standing up a little straighter. "Three hundred rupees, to be exact." He nodded to the others and started gathering up his belongings. "You can pay it anytime today, so long as you do it before tomorrow. Otherwise I'll have to assume that you changed your mind about this magnificent house and sell it to someone else, yes?"
"Okay, that's fine," Elliot responded, biting his lip. "Thank you very much for your help."
"Not a problem, Mr. Kastaga!" He shifted his bag to his side and held out his hand which Elliot shook. "I'll be in the management house down at the end of this row of housing. Just ask for Marten Swiftest and I can help you with the payments. In the meantime, feel free to enjoy exploring the house!" With that, he exited the house, leaving Elliot to ponder over the predicament. He leaned against the kitchen counter and unconsciously let out a sigh, his brows furrowing as he became lost in his swirl of thoughts.

James immediately noticed that Elliot was beginning to worry about the payment for the house. He walked over to him and leaned next to him, "Hey, don't worry about the 300 rupees, I told you I'd help, and I meant it." With that he stood straight again, smiled at them, then ran outside in the direction of the graveyard.

Sephira reached into her bag and pulled out her money bag. She rifled through it and pulled out 50 Rupees. She handed these to Elliot. "It's not much, but I want my friends to have a home. And don't think of protesting. I can counter almost everything you'll say. I get my own food from the land, I can make my own clothes if I need to, I live where I please. And I can make money of my own if I have to." She glanced after James, curious as to where he was going. She looked over at Midnight. The wolf nodded and took off after the boy.

Rose felt guilty, everyone was helping out and she couldn't do anything "I'm ganna go for a walk" she said before turning and walking around. She explored the village she would soon be calling home. Why can't I do anything to help she thought, tears building up in her eyes over guilt why am I so useless

James ran off before Elliot could stop him and ask where he was going. Thankfully, Midnight went after him so he could rest assured that James would be alright. He closed his hand over the rupees that Sephira handed over to him, not knowing how to put into words the overwhelming feelings of gratefulness that was filling up inside of him. All he could muster was a thank you. "You are truly a faithful friend and loyal ally," he said, bowing his head to her with respect. When he raised his head again, however, he saw Rose leaving the house and couldn't help but notice the obvious pained expression on her face. Concerned, he quickly motioned to Sephira that he'd be back in a flash, then headed out the door to follow after his love.

Sephira nodded her understanding to Elliot. She knew that it was hard to see a loved one in pain, and she saw Rose's clear as day. The poor Gerudo must be feeling so useless. Maybe she could teach her wood-working, or some other craft she knew.
Sephira turned to Tennor. "It's been a long time, Tennor. What have you been up to since I last saw you?"

James continued trotting towards the graveyard in silence until he got to the entrance. There he slowed down to a casual walk, wondering if it still looked like it had the last time he had been there. Passing under the square archway he felt the familiar chill coming from the ghostly place. He took a deep breath and walked in.
Even after being here hundreds of times before, the site that met him still shocked him. Row after row of graves sat there, waiting for their mysteries to be unveiled. A thin dirt path stood in between rows, allowing one to walk easily around them. To the left there was a small hill and at the top there were more rows of graves. Further towards the back, after even more rows of graves, stood three special graves, even having their own special spot. He knew the front two, one on each side of the third, belonged to the Composer Brothers, and legend had it if you read their graves, their ghosts would show up, but he wasn't about to try that. The third one, standing bigger, taller than all the other ones, belonged to the Royal Family.
A soft rain began and as if right on cue the wind howled through the trees. James shivered and wrapped his arms around himself, pressing his jacket, forcing it to heat up his body. He looked over at the small wooden house were the grave keeper lived. The door and windows were shut and candlelight glowed from the inside. James hoped he would stay in there due to the rain, for some reason he had taken into hating James and he didn't want him to see him. He slowly began making his way forward, trying to find the right grave. As he advanced, the rain began getting stronger, the wind louder, his view worse. The entire atmosphere was making him shiver, and he didn't know if it was because he was cold or because he was nervous about being here. Even when there had been daylight outside the sky in here was black as night, and the sunlight didn't seem to even touch the ground. He walked a bit more before he had to wipe his eyes from the rain. Everything got creepier and creepier as he advanced. A shadow moved there, a noise creaked here, James looked around shivering. Suddenly he felt something move behind him but as soon as he turned it was gone. He shook it off and turned back in his original direction. He walked a bit more until he felt someone behind him again. He turned in a flash, this time drawing one of his knives, but still no one was there. He closed his eyes and sighed to the sky, when suddenly something bumped his legs. The yell he gave that day some say Dampe thought was the spirits finally coming to take vengeance on the world. He jumped 3ft in the air and turned, knife raised, to find Midnight wagging his tail at him through the rain. For a moment he was just shocked, but the next he didn't know what he felt more: Anger that it had been Midnight all along, or gladness that it had been Midnight all along.
"Glad to see it was only you, boy. I bet the others sent you to make sure I didn't get into trouble?" James asked, Midnight barked. James smiled and stood up, "Come on, it's close now." He walked a bit further, and now that his wolf friend was with him he felt much more safe, the rain didn't seem as bad now, and the noises and shadows seemed normal. He had been right, only one more row, and he stopped in front of a grave. It didn't look like anything special. He knelt in front of it and brushed off the water and dust to read the engraving.
Here lies Jacques, loving mentor, father, and friend. Beneath that a quote also was engraved on the stone.
Try, try, try, and if you fail, at least you will know to try differently next time.
James smiled for two reasons, first, he had been the one who had gotten them to engrave that quote in, and he knew Jacques would love it. Second, he knew Jacques wasn't really buried here, that was just a cover. He walked to the back of the grave, and after making sure no one was watching, began pulling. He felt it shake a little, and then slipped and was thrown backwards, almost crashing against another grave. He stood back up, the water wasn't helping. He decided to try something else. He walked back to the front of the grave, and began pushing as hard as he could. Soon enough, the grave moved backwards and revealed a hole in the ground. James knew it wasn't very deep, but he was still very hesitant of going down. "Wait here," he told Midnight, and dropped into the darkness.

He landed with a thud. He blinked a few times so that his eyes got accustomed to the lighting. He was standing in small circular room. The walls perfectly curved, made of granite, per special request, which made the room sort of look like it was shining due to the rock's chemical features. In front of him there were five chests, 1 big one and four small ones in either side of it. He walked up to one of the small ones slowly, knelt in front of it, and opened it. He pulled out its contents: A golden rupee, worth 200. He did the same with the other small chests, protruding the same amount from each, until he was holding 800 rupees, which he hoped would be enough to pay the house for a while at least. Holding them brought a sort of nostalgia to him, knowing these had belonged to Jacques, but after all he had left them all to James. He smiled sadly at the large chest, knowing what it contained, but daring not open it. He turned to the hole in the roof, and jumped, grabbing unto the ledge, and pulling himself out. He dusted himself off, pushed the grave back in its place, and smiled at Midnight, "Come on, let's go back to the others now." And so he did.
